Great dress for Prom

I wore this as my wedding dress for our legal wedding ceremony before the destination wedding. I told my husband I was renting a simple dress and he was blown away. It fits like a glove and super flattering. It was very sexy and beautiful. I usually wear a size 2 and this was a little snug. You can not wear anything underneath since it is such a sheer fabric. It did get wrinkled after sitting right under the bust area, but overall it is perfect for a wedding dress.

Pros never felt so good in a satin dress or have it fit so well. Cons very busty and shows the girls ALOT! So be careful and have the boob tape ready! Wore 4 inch heels and couldn't wear a bra with this one but it held them in well.

The dress made me feel like an old hollywood movie star! You can totally tell it is a designer dress. The fabric is such great quality and white satin is not the usually the easiest thing to wear but this dress didn't pucker or show any unflattering bumps. I felt so much more elegant than the other girls at prom. THIS DRESS IS PERFECTION

This dress fit perfectly !! LOVED it. I originally ordered a 4L but the 2L fit even better. I am 5'6 and the 2 regular was just a tad short in the front even barefoot. The Long was really long but I liked it.

Perhaps slightly short in the front if you plan to wear heels. Was fine for me as I'm only 5'4" and I went barefoot but something to consider.

Beautiful dress, needed to use copious amounts of fashion tape to keep top of dress in position over bra-slip (d'Mondaine Rita). Length was very short on 6R and wore backup 8R because it was a little longer (otherwise fit was similar between 6R and 8R) - was barefoot or in flip-flops for photos and length was ok. Notice short train on dress. Wore heels for first dance and no problems with length of train. The material is creamy silk, and pairs well with gold and pearl. Be aware this dress needs to be steamed prior to wearing.

fit like a glove! so perfect, even thought it was the regular length is was still long, so I wore some serious heels! great dress, I usually do not wear white but am so glad I did! I received a lot of compliments!

This dress is beautiful. I normally wear an 8R, but ended up in the 10R with this dress - which usually means the top is too big if I fit the hips. No problem in this dress! A bit of dress tape and off we went. There is a bit of a train on this dress, and I taped it up so it wouldn't drag. Absolutely loved it. Perfect for a 10 year vow renewal!

It was perfect! Size true to form, comfortable and allows me to dance all night. I chose it as a second wedding dress for my reception and it was a hit!

Runs small so I definitely had to wear an 8. Fit was perfect. The back is gorg.

Everyone loved it! I am pretty small with small curves and it didn't hide my curves at all -- it was flattering. I think it is great for small breasts because you can't wear a bra with it. With that said, the top is solid and supportive so it should work for bigger breasts. It is absolutely gorgeous though. The only problem is that the bottom drags a little in the back. I am 5"5' and I wore 4 in heels but it still dragged a little.

RTR overnighted me this one after my other style didn't fit, and thankfully it fit perfectly. Everyone picked up on the "Marilyn" look. Very pretty dress but make sure you get your size because it is NOT stretchy at all (silk). I got a long and it was NOT long on me, I wore flats most of the night at 5'8" and the front was an inch or two above the ground. There is a train in the back, though.

I'm a size 6, but the 8R was the only size available at the time and it fit perfectly. Shape wise. Drape was. Length wise. Material wise.

Dress was beautiful, but hip seam was off. I overall loved the dress!

Pros, despite the reviews that it ran short its actually reached the ground and I am 5'8. Im usually a 2 but I'm glad i got the 0! Con, I did notice that in the bust area it gave a little towards the end of the day. I did which it was about an inch longer but overall it was great.

Kinda tight in some areas but it's a gorgeous dress

The only issue I encountered was that I didn't notice the dress' small train in the RTR photos, so I don't recommend this dress for Prom-style dancing (I used double sided tape to hem the back which ended up working fine). Note: I wore a nude strapless backless plunge bra (Victoria's Secret sells them) with fashion tape to make sure the cups didn't show.

Amazing dress. So flattering

I was so worried for no reason, I'v lost 25lbs and didn't know what size I would be, I am now 135lbs...it fit great! I ordered the 8P and the 10R. The 8P fit better in the top and waist but way to short, the 10R was longer and worked fine with flats. The 10R would have been too short if I wore heals. Like others I needed tape to keep the dress in place in the breast area, it was a bit big there. It was very comfortable, and I wore the Camando Briefs to just smooth out a few bumps. This dress has 3-4 layers of fabric so you don't need much. We had a beautiful wedding day! The shipping and return were easy. I also rented the earnings, perfect! Downside: Stretched out on the top so it was loose. You could tell by looking close it has been worn a ton, may be time to retire this one.

I wore this dress to my Prom and got compliments all night long! Very good quality dress, and it's surprisingly comfortable. Loved it!

What I liked about this dress was that it was sexy yet sophisticated and it gave me wicked curves. What I didn't like (and the reason why I ended up not wearing it) was the length. I'm 5'3", 5'6" with heels, and this dress would've presented a lot of tripping opportunities as it was too long. The color was also not white as it appears in the photo, it's more cream or off-ivory - almost a vintage-y color.

This dress was very short especially in the front. I am 5' 6", and it was about 3 inches or more to short. Also, I could not fully close the zipper, which is due to having a 32E cup. Otherwise, it had very nice fabric and would be comfortable for someone with a smaller chest and who is shorter (unless you have the longer version, which I could not order because it is damaged.

This does run small. Especially of your bust/ribcage is larger. I wear a 4 usually, 2 in certain designers and the 2 wouldn't even zip up. Fit from the waist down well. Very pretty dress, just size up if you have a wider ribcage.

I found this dress while scrolling on RTR and I fell in love with it. I was sure for months that this was THE dress I would wear to my senior prom. However when it arrived it was much different from what I expected and I didn't end up wearing it for prom. First of all, there were many layers of silk which made the dress heavy and hot. It also was loose around the bust and the fabric stuck out awkwardly there, which could have probably been fixed by fashion tape. It is definitely a beautiful dress in pictures, but I would not recommend it for an occasion with dancing. It is most likely necessary to wear a stick bra or petals, as the fabric around the bust is not supportive on its own.

didn't get to wear because the girl before me trashed it. Frustrating that I found out only a few days before my event, but RTR helped me find a new dress that worked perfectly!

I ordered this dress for my senior prom. At 5'9", I ordered the "long" length. When I finally received this dress, the front was WAY too short. It went to my ankles. Due to the length, this dress was unwearable, so ordering from rent the runway really made my prom stressful considering I had to go and buy a dress the night before. Tall ladies, I would not recommend this dress.

The dress runs a little small if you have bigger hips or waist I would recommend sizing up.

Picked this dress for the after wedding party, but ended up keeping my actual wedding dress on the entire night!
