RTR hit a home run with this dress. When my first choice was not available a few days before my event date they sent an email allowing me to choose another style. I am 19 weeks pregnant in this photo so a shift dress was my immediate go-to. The lace was great for an early May wedding and the red actually looked somewhat coral in a few photos so I felt "beachy" and festive in Cabo! When browsing how other renters wore this dress, I saw a gal with red lips which inspired me to wear my favorite red lipstick by Laura Mercier "Red Amour" (perfect for all shades of blondes!) The model wore black strappy heels which looked great with a black clutch and my personal black Kendra Scott "Danielle" style earrings. The shift dress allowed for complete freedom when eating and dancing and the other wedding guests had no idea I was almost 5 months pregnant! The red slip underneath is spaghetti strap with a lace overlay. I suggest a nude bra with skinny straps, or even a strapless bra. I actually did not wear a bra and it worked great! I was beyond comfortable. I wore the size small, had I not been pregnant I would have worn the XS

I wore this dress to dinner the night of the Oaks race in Kentucky. It was very comfortable and the color is gorgeous.

I ordered both the S & M. I actually wore the slip part in the M and then the lace overlay in the S. The small slip piece was a bit more fitted that I would have liked in the butt and hips area, so the M gave its some more room. And then the small lace piece was just perfect over. I am definitely a S on top and M on bottom so it was nice that I could mix these 2 together. I really liked this dress, got lots of compliments and the color was great. I wore it to a more casual wedding but you could definitely dress this up or down depending on the occasion. I did see some comments about it being too short, but being 5'3" I wasn't too worried. It does ride up when you sit, but luckily I was standing most of the reception so I didn't really notice. I also rented the earrings in the picture which just gave it a little more sparkle to the outfit. Will be using Rent the Runway again!

I wore this dress to my boyfriend's formal. I wanted to look sexy and classy, this dress achieved both. The lace detail is gorgeous, I received many compliments! It runs a little big, so I'd recommend getting a size smaller than you usually wear. I normally wear a 2-4 in dresses and the XS fit perfectly!

I wore this dress to a friends birthday - can dress up or down - I wore w a denim jacket. Super comfortable and great fit! Love RTR <3

This was my first RTR dress and I loved it! Very comfortable and flattering, I got many compliments! The only thing to watch is that the dress is rather short to sit in. But I loved it and would rent it again!

After reading the reviews, I ended up ordering this dress in a S & XS, planning to wear the S. After trying both sizes on, I ended up wearing the XS so I didn't look to "boxy" in the bigger size. The dress is a bit short... but super comfortable! I even paired it with rented earrings and a clutch. Got a ton of compliments and felt like a million bucks. It was my first RTR, looking forward to renting again soon!

The dress hit all the right places. It was a little shorter than I would have liked, but got so many compliments on the bright color that it didn't matter. The lace added the perfect delicate touch along the neckline.

Who knew lace could be so soft?? I felt beautiful in this dress and would rent it again. The color and fit are great, and I received lots of compliments. Win!

Fits great - true to size and very breezy and comfortable. Was perfect for a warm Arizona wedding. Color was absolutely gorgeous, and I got a ton of compliments. Thanks for another great dress, RTR!

Perfect for a daytime church wedding and beach reception. It was a little shorter than I expected but the length was still appropriate. The Lacey neckline and hem details had been pressed folded under. I just ignored it but could prob be fixed with a steamer. Loved the color!

I loved the color of this dress so much; it worked great with my skin tone (fair Asian with a bit o' summer tan). I wouldn't describe it as apricot but rather more of a bright coral. The fit was great (I have a slim figure but am a bit self-conscious of my post-baby belly area) and this was so comfortable to wear. If I were taller, i'd be a bit concerned about the length but it was fine with my 5'5"-ish height.

This dress was so fantastic, I was sad to take it off! While I definitely wore a size smaller than normal, it fit my curves like a glove. Between the beautiful color and delicate lace details - especially at the neckline - I received compliments all night long. Perfect for dancing, not too short for a church wedding and my date was thrilled. A must-wear to feel like the prettiest girl in the room!

This dress was gorgeous. It's not made to hug the body and was a perfect fit. The party we attended was a Cotton Club theme (20's attire.) I got tons of compliments on the color as well as the look of the dress. I am busty, 34DD, so it may run big in the chest for some. If I had wanted a curvier fit, the small would have worked, but for this party the medium was great.

This was my first time using rent the runway and everything was perfect! I was procrastinating getting a dress and ordered this two days before the event - it arrived in the morning just in time for me to leave for the wedding. I had read reviews that the dress ran a bit big, so ordered the S and the XS; I ended up wearing the XS as it does run a bit loose and long (for my height). If you're a petite, short girl and looking for a tight small dress, this is not the dress for you - BUT if you're looking for a fun, very comfortable dress that you can dance the night away in (as I was) this is perfect! I ended up wearing the dress with brown/tan heels; it doesn't need much jewelry as the pattern is so beautiful. More on the red side than orange (as you can see in the picture). Great dress, will rent again from RTR!!

Really enjoyed this dress. It has a figure hugging layer underneath & a looser layer on top, which made it feel dressy but also easy to dance & eat in. Great color for a spring wedding. Both the small & XS fit fine. The small would have been a bit looser; better for an afternoon shower or lunch.

So fun and girly! I wore this to a brunch in Miami and it was a hit! I am in between a 4 and a 6 and the M was a little big but its a shift so it should be roomy. the lace is a gorgeous coral. perfect for the sun!

I rented this dress for a friend's wedding and was very happy with it. I was expecting more of an apricot-orange color, but when the dress came it was more red-orange and very bright. The dress was extremely comfortable, as it was not form fitting, rather hung on the body. I'm very tiny, and I felt the dress was a bit big on me, but it was the smallest size the dress came in. I wish the spaghetti straps of the lining adjusted, as I kept having to adjust the dress back over my shoulders because it was hanging low on my chest. Overall, I loved the dress and got lots of compliments on it!!

The fit was a bit off. It seemed slightly stretched out in the bum area causing a weird lump in the material. I still loved this dress and ma glad I rented it.

I rented this dress and necklace to wear to a graduation reception and it was perfect! I received a lot of compliments and was really pleased with how the outfit turned out. This dress runs large, especially for someone who has more of an athletic/straight/narrow shape like myself. I ordered it thinking I would wear my usual small but the XS fit perfectly. Most importantly, this dress was super comfortable. The one complaint I had was that the straps of the slip kept falling off of my shoulders, but it wasn't that big of a deal. If I could buy this dress, I would. With that said, I would highly recommend this dress for any occasion!

I wore this dress for a date/concert. I would have loved to wear it by itself but it was too cold so threw on the jacket. The dress was much shorter than I anticipated (I'm 5'5) and I felt uncomfortable when I sat in it. However, I felt the length was fine when I was standing.

I typically am a small or an extra small and thought the small would be the one I would wear. However, the small seemed huge on me when I got it so I ended up wearing the extra small which was perfect! It may run a little big but I'm not sure. It is not tight fitting and is lose but still very slimming and it was perfect for Preference Night for rush! I highly recommend it!

Loved this dress, the color was stunning. The length was perfect for someone short like me. My only complaint was that the straps of the slip underneath were too long and kept falling down my arm.

The dress is two pieces, which I did not realize before I received. So wearing a bra without straps is a must as you'll see the straps through the lace overlay. The strap holders on the lace overlay were broken upon arrival...so perhaps I could have worn a bra with straps. I wore the small and it fit comfortably. I wore it at a ranch wedding with cowboy boots and for the theme it worked great! It was a great vibrant color- looks slightly dull on the model.

I absolutely loved this dress! The length was perfect and the details are lovely. It felt a little loose but considering it was a shift dress, it was not unattractive or noticeable.

I agree with the others about the color. It's definitely more red in person. I think it's a gorgeous dress and the length was perfect. I wasn't sure what size to get (XS, S, M) because I did recently gain some weight. I ended up getting the S and M but wish I would've gotten an XS. The S was fine, but the dress has no fit to it so going a size smaller would've helped add some shape to it/me. It's definitely been worn and washed a lot- there are beautiful details on the collar but I had to keep adjusting them because they wanted to fold inside my collar. All of this and I still loved it!

This dress was perfect for the occasion and I received a lot of compliments. The dress is on the short side and a bit tough when sitting down. But I was looking for a mini and this is definitely it. It's a shift dress and not clingy to the body. My only small complaint would be that I don't feel it's obvious that it's a designer dress. It's more casual than I expected. But still a great rental.

I ordered the M and L. The M was the one, fit-wise, that I wanted to wear because it fit best. Unfortunately it was beyond too short - i.e. I wouldn't have been able to comfortably sit down or dance, or do anything basically. So I had to wear the L. It still looked fine and I was comfortable all night, but I would have felt more attractive in the better-fitting/less baggy M! Pretty color though and loved the dress otherwise!

I wore this dress for my engagement pictures. The color is beautiful and really stood out. I found it to be true to size and didn't have any big issues. The slip was a little off, it's straps were a bit long, so sometimes the top of bra would peek on top, but this was minor.

A little short for me, since I'm a tall...other than that - it was awesome!

I ordered the dress in sm and med. the small dress was too short and the med was a little too big overall. I ended up pairing the med slip with the sm lace overlay. As others have mentioned this dress is short, I found that to be true. Got many compliments on the dress/color.

Fit was great. Not too tight, was lose enough to hide the flaws but short enough to show some legs. Dancing like crazy in this. Would wear it again.

I loved wearing this dress. its a bit richer of a red than in the photo (which i loved) and fit great... not too short for a wedding/dancing. The dress was super comfortable with a shift underneath that clipped in to the lace overlay. It was great for the LA wedding i went to.

This dress was overnight shipped to me because my original dress didn't fit. AMAZING customer service!!! Dress is gorgeous! Loved the lace and the color! Just perfect for the hot and humid wedding day. I think the inside shell was size bigger than the dress because it kept sagging and falling down, exposing my strapless bra. I put few safety pins to keep it tighter. This dress is perfect for someone who is apple shaped. I am an extreme hourglass and the dress made me look like I am pregnant. I decide to wear gold emerald green earrings and gold bracelet. Shoes and clutch were neutral, tan color. I received many complements on my outfit. Very classy dress that stands out in the sea of LBDs.

I would say the dress runs large. I wore the medium and it had plenty of room and I typically wear a size 6/8. It was comfortable but looking at photos I'm not sure it was the most flattering because it doesn't have much of a waist, and is more of a shift.

Such a great dress! Super comfortable, hid my belly problem area! Lots of compliments. I ordered late so the medium was only available but it fit perfect! I paired the dress with a light turquoise necklace which worked really well with the coral color!
