Really comfortable, was a July wedding but the material didn't get hot at all, great to dance in

I loved the color and the stretch lace! I have a small waist and a 34C bra so the stretch was perfect. I ordered the 2 originally but it was a little loose. The 0 was perfect! I was able to eat without feeling suffocated. And I was able to dance and not be restricted by a super tight dress. I got alot of compliments on it. I would recommend this to anyone!

I wore this to an outdoor summer wedding in Colorado and it was perfect! Like a few other people said, it does run big (I am usually between a 2 and 4) and was longer than expected; but it was very comfortable and perfect for dancing all night! I wore it with the RTR Ciner Antique Cascading Crystal Earring and gold heels.

This dress is a beautiful color and style. It is very feminine. The sweetheart neckline and cap sleeves are gorgeous, although my large bust made me a little uncomfortable with the spillover. I was able to wear the 8 so there is plenty of give in the fabric and it fits so comfortably.

I went to a friend's wedding in Mexico City and this dress had the perfect look for it. I received several compliments on the color and style, and it was very comfortable. It is form-fitting and I have a short torso so I ended up wearing something underneath to smooth out the lines. Overall, very pleased!

The dress was beautiful and had a great material that was soft and comfortable. I wore it to a very informal wedding and reception. The dress had stretchy material so I could have worn the size 2 but I went with the 4 because the 2 was a bit tight on the chest - and I'm not terribly busty. In any case, the dress provided a great range of movement and I would recommend it to anyone. I wish I could have kept the dress!

Loved this dress and the clutch was perfect! The dress was flattering and fitted without being restricting. Great length too.

The dress is pretty stretchy so there's wiggle room in sizing. I sized down because that's a lot of cleavage and I didn't want more room in the chest. The only unflattering bit for me was the stomach, which has weird crossover panels that don't really make you look like you have a flat midriff.

In person, the dress is closer to periwinkle blue than purple. The dress runs true to size and is pretty comfortable. The sleeves will show a colored bra strap, so either wear clear or go strapless.

I wore this dress for my family's formal portraits and it's one of my all-time favorite colors, so we're already off to a good start, there! I liked the higher hemline in the front, too and lacey details that are highlighted with delicate cap sleeves. However, it did seem to *diminish* my chest (not what most women want), and also is EXTREMELY clingy. Like, maybe I should have thrown on a second pair of Spanx clingy, ya dig? Anyway, if you have an amazing body, you'll rock this dress no problem. If you have a body with some trouble areas, make sure you do the behind-the-scene work needed to make yourself comfortable with how you look because there's no hiding anything in this gem :-)

This dress could flatter most body types, the fit was relatively great all over! It was a little longer than expected, but the stretch made up for it by feeling very comfortable on!

I was nervous to rent this dress because it had no photos or reviews yet, but I'm glad I took the risk. The previous Nicole Miller dress I rented (the Metallic Plum Ruched Dress) ran small and I ended up wearing the 8, but this dress ran larger and I wished I had gotten a 4 instead of an 8 as my backup. I ended up wearing the 6 which worked fine, but had some extra fabric at the waist and constantly fell off my shoulders. That said, it was still quite flattering and extremely comfortable, so I was able to eat a big meal and dance! It's plenty stretchy all over, and the skirt is flow-y (be careful what you wear under it if you want to salsa or swing!). I managed to wear a regular bra that matched my skin tone, so the straps weren't too noticeable under the lace sleeves. I felt it was modest and classy enough for a church wedding, but fun enough for the reception. Compared to the model I'm shorter and bustier, so it looked longer on me and exposed more cleavage. I imagine this color would look nice on a variety of skin tones. I wore it with flats and my great-grandma's clutch and pearls, but the neckline and style are pretty versatile.

This dress was amazing! I carry all my weight in my middle (butt and gut) and have small chest to boot (just accentuates my gut). This dress was forgiving material and hid it well. The pictures provided don't do it justice (I look exceptionally large in both of these compared to my true size) but I received nothing but compliments. My boyfriend pays close attention to his own style and still claims this is his favorite of all the dresses I've worn. Great dress!

This dress fit perfectly. It was great for dancing and eating the fabric has a little bit of give so you don't have to worry about that after dinner tummy pop. I wore this to wedding and got almost as many complements of the bride

Overall this was a perfect dress for the summer wedding I attended. I felt comfortable and pretty all night, and had so much fun being able to dance the night away without having to worry about fixing or adjusting my wardrobe.

I am between a 6 and 8 usually so I tried both (5'3", 135 lbs, 34D). Went with the 6. This dress has lots of stretch so it's super comfy to dance in, and no worries if you eat dinner. ;) I tried another dress that was shorter and tighter - it was super cute but I am glad I went with this one for the comfort factor. Got lots of compliments on the dress. I did need to wear a strapless bra, and used some fashion tape to keep the shoulders in place. Would have been fine without the tape but I know I would have messed with it all night.

So comfy. Hugs body in right places.

Loved wearing this dress. Ordered a 4 because I've worn other Nicole Miller dresses in a 4, but ended up requesting the 2 because the 4 was a little baggy. Formal but very comfortable and easy to wear, and fun to dance in! Cannot recommend this dress enough!

The dress was really flattering - I'm not tall (only 5'3"), but the dress made me feel like I was (in a good way!) It was also very slimming - I wasn't sure if it would work on my body, give how fitted it is through the hips, but it looked really great, and very slimming.

What I loved about this dress was that it fit great. It hugs your bust and torso and then flares out. I am on the busty side so to find something that actually flatters is difficult. I wore a regular nude bra which made dancing easy and the skirt part flows so nicely when you move, The only con is that the neckline is a bit low-cut. I used fashion tape to keep my bra from showing at times. Also, if you do not have a full bust I can see the top fitting weird. I wore with nude shoes. The color is more of a blue in real life. I accessorized with tanzanite jewelry which ended up being the same color as the dress if that helps to imagine the hue. Overall, loved it will likely rent this designer again.

This dress is fantastic. The material is a little stretchy and criss crossed, so if you're pear shaped (like I am), it's very forgiving of your hips. None of those horrible pull lines you can get on other dresses. It was a little big on top for me so during the serious dancing portion of the evening it slipped off of my shoulders a few times. Overall though, fantastic!

I loved this dress, it was comfortable and I received compliments all night! I was able to wear a regular bra with the dress so that made dancing much easier. The materials hugged in all the right ways and personally I loved the bottom of the dress while on the dance floor especially. The sleeves moved a little bit on my shoulders but never fell off. I can't remember the size, I think the 6, I was exercising a lot being the summer- it was a few months ago already but I typically wear a 6 or an 8 depending on the designer and with the back up size I was able to get both and make my decision the day of the wedding!

I wish I owned this dress. It was so comfortable and easy to wear for wedding dancing and eating. Very pretty color. The only complaint is that the overlap has one spot that may expose the lining if you don't layer it right.

the crisscross pattern of this dress is VERY flattering on the stomach. the lace is beautiful and the ruffle on the bottom and the blue color make it look very romantic. the neckline is sexy but still appropriate for a church wedding. my husband thought I looked hot and I got tons of complements all night long

This dress is beautiful. The color is very flattering as is the cut. It fit me like a glove and showed off my curves. It is probably good for ladies with smaller chests and small waists, like myself.

I haven't even worn this dress to my event yet, and I already am in love. This was a dress I rented after the original dress didn't work out. I ordered it last night with my (very helpful) stylist, and got it this morning (excellent service). This dress is SUPER comfortable, SUPER flattering; and I can wear it with a normal bra (bonus!)! I am so thrilled with this dress; I really wish I could keep it!

The lace is gorgeous and the quality of this dress was to die for! A conservative length, and really enhanced my curves. I would recommend to someone taller than 5'3.

Fits right and is a preety dress. I rented it to try it on, with the idea of renting it again the following month for the event. It was not available for rent a month later.

The dress is wonderfully well made and I'm sorry I didn't get to wear it. I ordered this as my back-up, and since the style suggestions say it ran large, I ordered a size down from the eight I thought I was. I am not an eight at the moment, more like a ten. Moral of the story, don't be afraid to do an honest check of your measurements before ordering, and chat with a stylist. If it turned out you are a size different than you expected, this is not disappointing, look at it this way. Disappointing is ordering dresses you don't get to wear since you guessed wrong. Wearing something in an unexpected size that fits perfectly and makes you feel like the sexiest person there? The best.

I love how this dress contoured to my curves. It was so lovely. My only complaint was that it was a little long, but only because I am very short (only 5'3"). It fell just below my knees. Overall this dress worked perfectly for my event. Thanks RTR!
