Color is stunning

The dress was perfect! I loved it and felt great wearing it. A little itchy on armpits later in night, but overall awesome dress and I highly recommend.

Fit perfectly

I wore this for my best friend's wedding. We had the option to choose any color of plumb, purple, or lavender, and this dress was by far the best I found in stores and online! The dress is very slim fitting, so make sure you're comfortable with wearing fitted clothing. From reviews if read before ordering, I was worried about if the dress would be long enough because I had 6 inch heels; however, the dress was a flexible/stretchy material and allowed me to pull it down and cover my shoes with ease. Overall, great dress. I felt great and had several people tell me it was their favorite of the bridesmaids.

I ordered both the 4 and the 6 due to my hip/butt area being larger and I was afraid the built in slip wouldn't stretch. But the 4R fit perfectly - I didn't even need a bra - due to the snugness at the top. I wore the dress to a formal gala in October (actually both of our dressed in the picture are from RTR). The dress is heavier than I imagined, but its due to the quality of the fabrics used. I felt like a million bucks as everyone complimented how nice my dress was all night. RTR is so easy to use, and I am currently awaiting my next delivery!

This dress is a deep purplish/blue color. The lace has a lot of stretch to it. I normally wear between a 2-4 and the 2R was perfect. Enough give in the fabric to be very comfortable and dance all night. The length was just grazing the floor with 3 inch heels. Size 4R would've been too loose and I suspect I would've been pulling up the top all night. Customer service was great. This was actually my 2nd backup and it was perfect.

I rented the 4R and 2R and liked the length of the 4R, but it was too loose overall, so I wore the 2R with a shorter heel (2-3 inch heel). Material was stretchy and very comfortable. Color was different than what I saw online, but loved it anyways (more of a blue hue than what I was expecting). You can't tell in photos, but the bottom of the dress from mid thigh down is lace so you can see through to your legs, but it is hardly noticeable.

I was nervous to rent a long dress since I am only 4'11 but I read the reviews and the ladies close to my height that had previously rented said it was doable with heels and they were right! Beautiful color and fit!

I absolutely loved this dress. It fit so well and was very flattering. I didn't have to spend all night adjusting it like I usually find myself doing with strapless dresses. I received compliments all night!

This was not my first choice dress, but it did truly turn out to be a dream. One, I usually avoid strapless b/c I hate the thought of pulling it up all night. I wore this with a stickie bra however and rarely had to adjust. Also, as a smaller girl I felt like it actually made me look like I had cleavage, always a plus! (normally, I probably would not have filled it out w/o the stickie bra giving me a little help -- target online) Two, it does fit close to the body but is breathable and SO comfortable. That being said, I did make sure to avoid foods that make you bloat that day as I did not have time to worry about shopping for spanx... hey, even skinny girls need them sometimes.I did expect the dress to have a little more form to it, with thicker fabric, but it didn't look cheap, so that is good. Three, the color is so gorgeous and true to the model's pic. I felt so beautiful in this dress! My measurements at the time of wearing this dress: bust: 35 waist: 28 hips: 35

This dress gives you a great silhouette! Fitted, so watch what you eat the day of your event so you don't risk having a little pooch belly ;). The lace, purple, heavier material, etc made this dress easy to move and dance in. Loved it!! You will too!

I could've worn either the 2R or 4R but I went with the 4 just to be a little more comfortable as I was a bridesmaid and was going to be in the dress for many hours. The only problem with going up a size is that I found myself pulling up the sweetheart neckline more often. The 2 was more snug. But, it was beautiful and I had a ton of compliments. You'll love it!

This dress was wonderful! I got so many complements on how gorgeous it looked on me! I'm hourglass/pear shaped and it worked my curves just right. I'm a D cup and it was a bit hard to keep the dress from showing too much cleavage but some fashion tape helped. The color looks dark purple in some lighting and navy blue in others...two colors I love so no worries! This dress is great for any season or any formal or semi-formal occasion.

This dress was so pretty, I got compliments on it all night! It is very flattering and comfortable to wear. I'm 5'3" and the regular was the perfect length with 5 inch heels. It is more blue than purple. I would definitely rent again!

I wore this for a black tie wedding in NYC and it was perfect! The color was dark enough to make it appropriate for an evening wedding but it also stood out from the crowd. I got a lot of compliments on both the dress and the fit. It's definitely perfect for a curvy figure with larger chest (34D). The lace on the top of the dress had a tendency to curl under my strapless bra and didn't always lay flat but that would be my only concern. Even returning it the day after the wedding in Times Square was easier than I thought it would be. Renting another Nicole Miller for a wedding in LA in June!

I wore this dress for my law school's Barrister's Ball. Everybody loved it! In the professional photos afterward I realized you could see my legs (like, if I had a really colorful thigh tattoo you might've been able to see it) but everyone assured me that they hadn't noticed the whole rest of the night, so it was probably just because of the flash. The material is mesh with a lace overlay and perfectly stretchy so I was able to sit, dance, pick my purse up off the floor, and everything without worrying that it would break. I have a very hourglass shape (32D, 26" waist, 38" hips) and it still fit perfectly -- I am usually self-conscious about my hips but my boyfriend is a big fan, both of them and of the dress, so that made me feel better about it. I was debating between dressing it down with pearls or dressing up with (faux) diamond chandelier earrings, I went with the chandeliers, which I think looked great paired with the dress. I am pretty short (5'3") and the 0R skimmed the floor perfectly with 2.5" heels. PERFECT for a night of dancing. But if you're at least medium-tall and like to wear very high heels, I'd recommend a backup dress. (This is the first time I've worn a long dress because I usually trip over the bottom!) Also, use fashion tape to keep the lace sticking up at the top. It's not necessary but it's the only way to keep the sweetheart neckline.

Wore this amazing dress for a masquerade ball! Perfect fit and very comfortable! Usually I have issues with strapless dresses falling down and I have to keep pulling them up throughout the night but with this dress I had no problems...wore a push-up bra which probably helped too. The dress looks purple in photos but up close it's more like a dark blue, nonetheless it's a gorgeous color! Also, I probably should have ordered the short size instead of regular, the dress dragged a little on me even with 3-inch heals. Overall, it's an amazing dress and I would definitely order it again!

I normally wear a 4 but the 6 was perfect (I could prob have worn a 4 but this was my backup so I only had one size). It was a little long - I ordered at long but even at 5'7 and in heels this caught on my shoe a couple of times. Overall fabulous!

Fits/ feels great- only little issue is you will need a padded bra if you dont got the good to hold it up ;)

I originally ordered a 2 petite and a 0 petite since I'm small and was concerned about the length, but after reading the reviews more closely, I went with the 0 regular and 2 regular, The 0 regular fit perfectly! I wore 4-inch heels and it just grazed the floor. The color is a deep purple, almost a bluish tone depending on the lighting.

It hugs the body in the right places , very classy & sexy. Everybody at the wedding loved it.

The fit was great as i am a little bigegr around my hps and a little smaller around the bust.

I ordered the 10L and 12R. The 10L was the perfect length, perfect fit on top, a bit tight at the hips. The 12R was too short, too big on top, but perfect at the hips. I decided to wear the 10L. Like others have said, the ribbing was poking out in a couple spots in the front and back. I was able to push it back in throughout the evening and it was fine. Overall, loved the dress! Got lots of compliments!

This dress was so pretty and I would rent it again! The color is so nice and the lace look makes this dress! I am 5'6'' and wore 2.5 inch heels and the dress just touched the floor. I had only a few moments when I dress caught on my shoes so I decided when I was walking to lift it a little bit and that did the trick. I did have to pull it up a few times to keep it from falling, but it didn't really bother me. I wore a nubra, but i think i could have went without one if I wanted too. It is a tight fitting dress, but somehow showed off all the right curves and was very flattering, I loved the neckline too! Overall really happy with the dress!

The dress is great, beautiful and comfortable. I danced all night. I did not have a problem with it rolling down like some of the other review said, however I did have to use fashion tape to get the lace detail on the bust to stay up. If not it rolls over and you don't see the lace edge. I wore a 3 inch heel and the length was perfect. I loved this dress!

I picked this dress because all the pictures I saw online were flattering on women of all different shapes and sizes. At first I was worried that it would be too form fitting for my taste but I was totally wrong. It somehow managed to hit in all the right places and really accentuated my curves. It is a little stretchy so that helps with the fit and has a flattering mermaid style to it. Get this dress! It rocks!

I'm 5'6" and I rented the 2R and the 4R (as my back up size). Overall this dress is very form fitting and it accentuates all of your curves even when you don't think you have curves to accentuate. I tried on the 2R and it fit quite snug but the length was perfect. With 3" heels it barely grazed the floor. To see if I could get a little more wiggle room I tried on the 4R and the overall fit felt better but for some reason the length was shorter than the 2R; it was to my ankles. So for the event I ended up wearing the 2R.

This dress turned out to be exactly what I was looking for. I attended a formal Gala for my hospital and was looking for an elegant, classy, and fun dress to wear for the evening. Not only was this dress perfect for the occasion , it was incredibly comfortable. It fits true to size and is form fitting in the right ways. I did not have any difficulty with the fit nor with the top of the dress rolling down. (based on other assessments posted, it seems that that it a common complaint with this dress). I would highly recommend this dress for any formal occasion, or even as bridesmaids dress for a wedding! If you are 5'7" or taller and plan to wear heels, I recommend renting the dress in "Long". I am 5'9" and did not wear heels and the fit was perfect for me.

IN LOVE with this dress! When I ordered this dress, I wasn't sure if it was going to be closer to a deep purple or a deep royal blue. As you can see from the several pictures, it looks different in color depending on the lighting, but I think it was definitely closer to a deep royal blue in person. I normally wear an 8, but gained a few holiday lbs so ordered a size up. Both the 8 and 10 fit well, but being a busty girl, the 10 was more flattering in that area, as the 8 fit snugly but taking deep breaths created spillage. On hindsight, I would have worn the 8 because the top did stretch out during the night and I did have to hike it up a lot. The 8 would have stretched to a perfect fit up top, but there was some boning poking out of that one that would have been very uncomfortable. Also, the length was perfect with 2 inch heels. I was dancing all night in this dress, and got compliments all night long. The event was several days ago and I am still getting compliments on it from my coworkers! Overall, this was a great experience with RTR and I will ABSOLUTELY be renting from them again!

I am 5'3, 125 and wore the 2R. It was a bit long but I knew that when renting and just wore high heels. It was form fitting and hugged every curve perfectly. I received so many compliments and would definitely rent again!!

This dress was the perfect length with 3 inch heels which was great. Although I did have to pull it up a bit I still loved it. It was an extremely flattering fit and was comfortable. I would definitely recommend this there to anyone especially girls with some curves.

I rented this dress for New Year's Eve and it is absolutely STUNNING! This was actually my "back up" dress, but I fell in love as soon as I tried it on! The fabric is very forgiving and hugs in all the right places. I am a thick/tone hour glass, so the "mermaid" effect was definitely accentuated more than it would be on someone without curves. Very simple accessories is key, because the dress steals the show! My only "complaint was the top of the particular dress I received shows some wear, but no one knew except me. Overall, the entire RTR experience has been fantastic. I felt like a princess, completely worth it!!

I am in-between a size 2 & 4, but ended up wearing the 0P in this dress. I found the top fit me big and wanted a snug fit since it is very low-cut. I am 5'3" and definitely needed the petite length, which fit perfectly with 4" heels. The dress is gorgeous and so flattering! Makes you feel and look skinny yet shapely. So glad I got to wear it! RTR was a great experience! My dress and backup were both large, so they overnighted me the smaller size just in time for NYE.

Wore this dress for my office holiday party. Received so many compliments! Loved the dress and the fit was just right. Ordered a size up to have good coverage for bust area and so glad I did because the fit was perfect; hugged all the right curves. Color is more grayish purple than blue, beautiful. Had to pull up a little as night went on but overall was very comfortable. Very pleased with this rental!

This was my first time renting a dress and was super nervous about the fit (like most women). I ordered a 10R and a 8R and crossed my fingers. I am typically a size 10; however, the 10 was a little large in the bust area. The material was beautiful and stretchy enough to be comfortable but not enough to become saggy through the night, as I did dance my butt off the entire night!! The length was perfect with heals also. It was long enough to look elegant but not long enough to drag. I would recommend getting some dress tape as the top part did tend to roll a little. Overall I was super impressed with this dress!!
