This dress was a perfect fit and everyone at the wedding, and even my beautician who saw the picture of me in the dress, wanted to know where I got it. The mother of the bride was asked to wear gold, and the groom's mother - yours truly - was asked to wear silver. I have never felt more comfortable in a dress, and never received so many compliments in my life. The only thing I wasn't used to (maybe 'cause I'm 71 years old) was the fact that I had to wear lift-and-support push-ups with underwire and adhesive sides, instead of a bra. However, I loved that I didn't have to worry about a bra revealing itself anywhere.

It was the very first dress I ordered and it was gorgeous! It fit beautifully, looked like $1,000,000 and was unusual. The quality of the fabric and the cut made it fit like a glove. Everyone loved it

Perfect fit!

Fits like a dream. Love the length and definitely not to restrictive to walking, with was one concern. The only thing that was hard for me is I'm a 32C and couldn't wear petals or a strapless bra because you could see the outline through the fabric.

I got the 0L and the 2L, and the 2 fit like a glove. One hip was a bit stretched out, but as long as I kept it pulled down it was unnoticeable. I loved wearing it; comfortable and and pretty. The Long was the perfect length for 1 1/2" heels, but I could have gotten away with flats if I needed to. It felt wonderful, and nobody else had a dress like it! Do be careful what you wear underneath it... seamless is a must! Even the wrong spanx will be easily seen through this. I actually had to go buy something new because the one I had didn't work!

As a tall young lady, this dress is very true to size. So comfortable too!

This dress was absolutely stunning on. As the evening went on I had many women come up to me doting on the beautiful dress and telling me how awed they were when I walked in the room. Worth every penny to walk into a ball feeling and being seen as a million bucks (especially as the "new" girlfriend)! ;) A few problems: I ordered two sizes, 4L and 4R. My order got doubled up somehow and I was sent 2 4L and 2 4R separately. Well, my first 2 dresses were both TOO short!! (Even the long!) Luckily, on my second order the 4L was long enough or I would have looked silly with my 4" heels and high water dress! Contacting the company was easy, friendly, and a great experience. Just a closing FYI- the dress shows ALL! If you have anything jiggling, get a corset. Overall, I adored this dress and the compliments I got in it.

OMG, I love this dress. I wore it to my stepdaughter's wedding and it was perfect. The bias cut in the front is extremely flattering for anyone who's not a perfect hourglass (and I'm far from it) and given the illusion of curves and elegance. Because I needed some sort of bra, I went with the NuBra silicone cups. They enhanced the dress by defining my bustline. The dress was long, so I was glad I had five-inch BCBG platforms. All in all, a great dress. Would rent it again in a heartbeat!!!

This dress is heavenly! I wore it with the Bacall earrings, and felt amazing. Got so many compliments, looked ready for the red carpet! The right sleeve is dramatic, and the contrast between the simple front and stunning back works perfectly. Don't bother with a necklace or other jewelry, the dress itself is enough. Beware -- you will need a backless bra, and the material will show if you have extra flab around your midsection!

This dress was AMAZING!! This was my prom dress and it totally stood out! It really makes you look and feel sexy. I ordered the 2L and 4L and first tried them on when they came in and they were a little wrinkled and looked like the dress was wearing me instead of me wearing the dress. But once it was steamed, my makeup on, and hair done, it was breathtaking!! I received tons of compliments on it. I ordered the Long and wore it with 3 1/2" heels and it was still two inches too long, so I should have ordered the Regular and just worn flats with it because you really have to try hard not to step on it. It is a little darker than the picture which makes it look even better. At first it made me look really shapeless because I'm 34"-26.5"-36", but I got a pair of Spanx and it made tons of difference! The silk is not thin but not too heavy; it's a good feel. The only thing I didn't like was that the cascading ruffle was silk on one side and some gauze-like fabric on the other side and it sometimes didn't want to lay correctly with the silk side showing as in the picture. Also, one side of the dress on my hip was pretty loose because it looked like someone had pulled the fabric hard to zip the zipper and it strethed the fabric some. But I just twisted the dress a little and it covered it. I wore the Heart of Glass Earrings, Chain Gang Ring, and Double Dagger Bracelet with it and everything looked stunning! After wearing this dress I am very tempted to go out and purchase it. I cannot wait for my next rental! Note: My boobs aren't that big naturally; I wore padded sticky cups which worked out great. Also, I had to wear Spanx because the dress shows everything if you don't! The dress didn't flatter me at all until I put it on with Spanx, then I loved it!! I usually wear a size 4, but the 4 was too tight on my butt so I had to wear a size 6L.

It fit very nicely and I didn't have to worry about it slipping. A bra would have been able to been seen through this so find another alternative. I am really short so I had to get heels which wouldn't make the dress drag. Overall, I loved it.

Wore this to a gala during the White House Correspondents Dinner weekend. Dress fit perfectly. I received many compliments on the dress. Train can be a little long, so just had to remember to pick it up going up the stairs, but still worth it. Would buy this dress if I had a chance to.

The fit was great and the back was definitely gorgeous. My only complaint is that I am 5'8, ~5'11 with the heels on, and the regular length dress was definitely too short. I would have worn the size 4 that I rented as well, but that one was wayyyy too short.

Fabulous dress. Rented for a 1920's theme holiday party. Was going for old Hollywood glam and got it! Fit true to measurements. I am somewhere between a 2 and a 4. The 2 zipped up fine, but the lining laid funny. Wore the 4 and everything laid nice and smoothly. Bias cut is flattering to those of us with not much shape (I am pretty much straight up and down). A sticky bra helps fill out the front. Really enjoyed the whole experience and will definitely rent again.

Out of all of the gowns I've ordered for black tie affairs this one was one of my all time favorites. It was unbelievable how it looked in a sea of black and red gowns. Definitely wear spanx under as it is NOT forgiving at all with anything out of place. You also cannot wear a bra. So be prepared for that.

I rented this as my back up dress. The dress was beautiful but I have an hour glass shape and the fit of this dress didn't flatter my figure very well (it made my hips look very big). I also was shocked at how short it was. I am 5'5" and ordered the long so it would work with the heels I had. I would not have been able to wear heels with this dress at all. It was even about 2" too short for flats (in my opinion).

I wore this dress to a masquerade wedding. It was a perfect fit and length (Im a size 4, 5' 5"). I got SO many compliments on this gorgeous gown. The back is really beautiful. The fabric is quite sheer, so be sure to wear some spanx if you want to look smooth.

I rented this stunning gown for my son's wedding!! I have to tell you that not only is the gown stunning, but I have gotton so many compliments on this Nicole Miller beauty. It truly is a red carpet head turner. I am 50 years old and I went with the earrings and beautiful purse as well. This outfit ladies was perfect. There are no other words. I give it five stars. Rent-The-Runway is a professional and reliable company and I would use them again in a heart beat!! PS: The regular in this size is perfect for about an 4" high heel. the back hem just lighly wisps the floor.

This dress was my first rental back in May. I absolutely KILLED in this dress! The back is very flattering and the details make the dress go from simple to fabulous. The color is a bit deeper than the picture displays so If you wanted to do a pewter shoe, that would work better than silver. Enjoy being fabulous!

I rented this gown to go to the Emmy's and I fit right in with all the celebrities I was sitting around. The size 2 fit me just right and having such a gorgeous dress for such an event made my night. Everyone kept saying that I looked like an Emmy :) I LOVED it!!

This dress is amazing! The look is very elegant and luxe. At 36D I was worried about what kind of bra would work and purchased a "go bare" backless strapless bra but a regular low back bra might have worked too. I am 5'8" 150 lbs and wore the 10L with super high heels. I would absolutely rent again.

Dress looks white on the website but it is Silver... Looks even better in person. I am 5'10 so i purchased a 6L. I couldn't believe when I wore 3.5 inch heels and the dress still covered my shoes. I received many compliments. I loved it... My first rental but won't be my last.

Beautiful dress. Fabric is beautiful and silky, which makes it hang very nicely. Fit was true to size.

The dress looks as gorgeous in person as it does on the model. But! The dress comes shortened! (they actually shorten the dress!!!!) I'm the same height as the model and the dress reached my ankles. I'd ordered the 6L and 8L. The 6L fit me fine except it doesn't brush the floor like it does in the photo. I had to send it back and use an alternate dress I had. I suggest that if you're a regular, go with the long instead to get the same look.

This dress is lovely but runs small across the hips. The color is gorgeous, but I did not like it on my. I did not get to wear it as it felt too tight on me so I returned it right away. RTR credited me and I rented again as soon as I could.

I didn't end up going with this dress, and instead chose my backup. I ordered a size 6, when I really should have ordered a four. The dress is absolutley gorgeous but was a little overwhelming on me. Also, I didn't think the back looked nearly as clean and tidy as on the model. I could see a really tall and skinny lady in this (the fabric in front is very unforgiving of any little bumps). Still love it in the picture, but just wasn't right for me.

This being a column dress, and silk-like, I wouldn't try it unless you have a very flat stomach and a non-curvy body. The fabric is shiny, and it reveals all contours in shades of grey. It will exaggerate your hips. If you look closely at the image, you'll notice some slight buckling at the diagonal seam at her waist and some rippling where her hips flare out. If you have prominent hips, those effects will become pretty prominent and it will not not be forgiving.

nice dress, I didn't end up wearing it, the back is pretty, but I didn't love the front. The front comes up really high.
