My daughter wore this to junior prom (catholic school- met all requirements for coverage!) We ordered the 4 and 6- she wore the 6. She is 5'8" and 135. (Normally a 6 in RTR). The dress was perfect!

This dress was the right length to be floor length with my heels at my height, as well as fit perfectly throughout. I'm a smaller bust size and it was flattering. I used a boy short body shaper to avoid any lines. I did need to add cups for coverage up top, as there wasn't a built in bra or liner.

I ordered this for a black tie wedding and it was perfect. Fit like a glove and the slit makes it so you can move easily, including dancing like a fool. Super flattering dress and would definitely wear again

Perfect for the black tie wedding I attended, I’m bottom heavy so it was just a tad loose in the top and snug in the bottom, but the material was really stretchy and comfortable, highly recommend if you’re looking for something really flattering and not too loud

The fit and length were perfect (wore 3" heels). I wore this to a gala that I help to manage so I was running around in it all evening and was completely comfortable. I am 5'3", 34C, 120 lbs.

This dress is great for a formal affair that called for a balance of sexy and modest. The stretchy material hugs in all the rights places but is not too revealing. I was able to wear it with a strapless bra, but the support is enough that you could go without. For reference, I am 5'6", 127lbs, and a 32C. This dress was definitely tight through the upper ribs/bust, and I had to get help to zip it up. It is also shorter than I expected (shown with 3" heels in the picture).

I ordered a 0 & 2. I’m a size 0 in dresses. This dress ran very small. The size 2 was smaller than most size 0 dresses I have worn. I wish I would have ordered a 2 & 4 so I could compare the fit better. The 2 was super snug but I ended up making it work. I would suggest going 1 or 2 sizes up from your normal size. The dress is gorgeous, classy (but sexy at the same time) & sleek. Loved the slit and that it wasn’t too short. Overall- I felt very confident and would order this one again!

I was hesitant about the size, especially how every woman is different. I was beyond happy with this dress, so much that I didn't want to send it back. I loved, loved the fabric. Had perfect stretch to it and in all the right places. Perfect night to wear on a December evening. You won't regret your choice with this beautiful and classic piece.

Snug and challenging to zip but this fabric had stretch. So once it was on, it felt great. I have a large bust but didn't wear a bra as the snug fit kept everything in place. I opted for this plain look versus a more flashy gown as the (step)mother of the groom...I felt classy and classic and received tons of compliments. I chose rose gold jewelry and rose gold Betsy Johnson 4 inch heels. The length of the dress was perfect to see a bit of the gorgeous shoe. It was easy to walk and sit in. Slit up the right side was sexy yet appropriate. Highly recommend this dress! Loved it! Ps: I wore a Spanx thong / waist control garment underneath. I recommend this to keep your tummy tight as this dress will show panty line and little belly rolls :)

This dress was actually my back up and i was SO pleased with it ! I wore this to a wedding. I’m 5’4 with an hour glass figure and it was perfect. I wore spandex and no bra was needed. The material is stretchy and has room. I had the size 8 and 10 and wore the 8. I had compliments the entire night and my hubby couldn’t keep his hands off me ! Would deff recommend.

The dress is pretty fitted, but is made from a nice thick fabric. I’m 5’9” and it would have been too short if I was any taller, so I wore a shorter heel with it.

This was my first rental from RTR and I have to admit, I was really nervous! I had searched for a dress to wear locally, but nothing caught my eye. I had recently gained a few pounds and was worried that anything I ordered was going to cling to me in all the wrong places. Lucky for me that wasn't the case. The material and shape of this dress accentuate the assets of a curvy figure while minimizing the flaws. My legs even looked longer and thinner! The material is a little heavy- don't know if it would be the best choice for an outdoor, August wedding, but it was really comfortable. Got so many compliments. I will definitely be using RTR for my next formal event!

I wore this dress as a bridesmaid dress for my best friend's wedding and I received compliments on it all night! I wore 4" heels and it fit perfectly in length (~ 1" off the ground). If you're not going to wear heels then you might want to use the sticky tape that comes with it to shorten it because it might be too long if you're like me. The material is high quality, thick, stretchy, and super comfortable. It fits snug and very flattering. My husband loved it so much he wanted me to buy the dress! Overall I was extremely happy with the dress!

Very true to size, great length for avg height person, great stretchy material that was thick so it was very flattering and slimming! I like that I could wear a regular strapless bra with it too!

The material had a lot of stretch to it so it's nice to dance in and it doesn't make you feel like you can't sit down in it lol. Wore it to a military ball. This was my 3rd dress since the first 2 didn't fit. They overnighted me this one and I got it around 9:30 in the morning the next day. Excellent customer service! Would rent from them again! This stretchy material is like wearing gym clothes, though I did need Spanx just to smooth everything out. I got a ton of compliments on it. It is long, though, heels would definitely be needed if you aren't supermodel height.

This dress was picked for me because what I had originally ordered was unavailable and honestly I liked this one better than the one I picked out. This dress hugs your body well and the slit in the leg makes it easy to walk and dance. Great dress, very comfortable and the perfect length with a small heel!

Runs a bit small especially in chest and mid section; normally can wear a 2 (sometimes 0) but opted for the 4 for a bit more room in the middle, also knew it would be a long day/night! Overall so comfortable, great fabric; would definitely size up. Length was perfect, I'm 5'4" and wore about 3" heels. Great dress, definitely recommend!

fit well. 6 was a little tight but 8 too big. I wore 3" heels and the length was just right. The slit up leg goes pretty high so be aware if wearing Spanx etc.

After some underwhelming rentals for my brothers wedding, I went to the NYC store and was given this dress to try on and it was perfect! The material is very flattering and comfortable, I loved that it did not wrinkle or lose shape at all. The necklace and slit gave it some edge and I felt beautiful! The length was perfect with about 4" heels ...RTR for the win again!

This dress is so classic and flattering. I felt confident and comfortable- never worrying about a wardrobe malfunction. It fits great - tight in the waist with room in the hips, coverage over the chest as well as the back. There is a side slit that came lower mid thigh, but it's a functional slit, not a fashion slit. The material of this dress is some type of wondrous cotton spandex mash up that works together to keep you lifted & tight but still able to breathe, bend & dance.

This was the best rental yet! The dress fits true to size. I'm 5'6" 34D, 6 is my usual size, and that's the size I wore. The dress has a stretch, so I was very comfortable all night, lots of walking and dancing. Loved it!

I went with the 2 so I could have more of a defined shape this dress is very form fitting but very comfortable the materiel is soft and still elegant! And that Slit?!? It made the dress perfect!! I normally wear a 0-2 and I sized up to the 4R I'm 5' 3" and had to hem (with hemming tape) the regular just 2 inches and it fit perfectly! Get a size bigger as your extra!

This dress received compliments all night long!! The pictures don't do it justice! I normally wear a size 2 but moved down to the size 0 because it showed off my shape more (I was flying solo to the wedding). The dress was tight but super comfortable and stretchy. Being 5'9, I wish they had the longer size available but the regular still worked with strappy heels. This dress made me feel so good while wearing it, and I was extremely sad to return it the next day.

Classy and elegant black tie look. Running on the smaller side, I'd recommend sizing up for backup. With little room in the bust, this gown is best for smaller cup sizes. Although there is stretch to the fabric, the waist and hips are quite fitted so I'd recommend sizing up for fuller hips. At 5'7" the regular length worked, but I definitely needed a low heel. Looks great with statement earrings or a bracelet!
