I didn't go with what everyone else was saying and what rtr commended and I regretted it! I am always a 0 in flowy dresses but the top of this dress is AWEFUL! It's so right I truly don't know who they made it for. So tight I almost didn't wear it. I should have gotten at least a 4 maybe the 6. No idea what it does to the bottom part

I'm 27 weeks pregnant and the dress fits perfectly with the bump but the chest area is so so small. Not sure I would like this if I wasn't pregnant, weird fit being so small on the chest and loose in hips/waist area. I wish I had rented a size S instead of XS so my chest would be more comfy

This dress was so small in the chest. Just look at the photos. It flattened me to the point where I looked like I had no chest at all

Wanted a looser dress because at the time was 32 weeks pregnant this fit perfectly and would even love if I wasn't pregnant. Plenty of room and nice and flowy. Great for a day out, easy to dress up or down with. Great dress

Ran a bit large at the bust and unfortunately didn't have adjustable straps. Heavier material so wouldn't recommend in the heat/humidity but was perfect for two weeks after Labor Day

Fit great!! And beautiful material!

The straps were about 2 inches to long but once I pines those to fit the dress was perfect! It's think material so it's not really Foley or cool but for a "summer" day in San Francisco it was great!

Fit is definitely loose and easy; as other reviewers have noted, straps are way too long and will show your bra. I tied the straps together into a cross-back with a hair tie and covered it with a cardigan to be able to wear it. But I love love love the 3D flowers and pockets and swingy, luxe fabric. Really fighting the urge to buy this one.

Loved this dress! Plenty of room, I'd say it runs on the large size I could have used a L or 12, instead of XL 14, but still worked great! Great amount of length too. Love the pretty blue and white floral print/stripe and love the deep ruffle at the bottom hem. Great dress for spring/summer or vacation rental! I'd def rent again. Even thought about buying!

Wow, I am so glad I rented this. I [almost] never go braless or show my arms because insecurities lol but I felt so comfortable and confident in this dress. It looked beautiful, effortless, and the detailing/stitching is sick!!! There was no belt with it but I didn't mind because imo the shape without any waist cinching makes it more high fashion. I will rent this one again

I adored renting this dress during my maternity...I was 8-9 months too! Wore it multiple times, even though the top was a bit small on me. Size up in this one and bring on your next Nantucket vacation. So dreamy (and got tons of compliments on it!)

Can't get over the details of this dress! Just stunning. I got a few compliments in this dress, which is always a plus! My only complaint (and it's not a big deal while wearing a dress this beautiful) is that the dress is a bit heavy.

This dress is gorgeous, and it has pockets!!!! But, its shapeless without the belt that is pictured in some of the reviews. The fabric is heavy but its a very well constructed dress and I love the quality! I am small busted and where the straps are not adjustable, I had to wear a padded strapless bra to give some shape up top.

I loved wearing this Nicholas dress - for the most part. The other reviews are very accurate in saying that the bust runs small - especially given how full the skirt is. I typically wear a 10 in Nicholas, but I rented a 12 based on the reviews. The 12 was much much too large in the skirt, so I switched to the 10. The 10 fit better, but was slightly tight in my chest (I am a 36 B/C for reference). The dress does have a lot of fabric but if you are able to size down, it hangs beautifully. I wore this in Rome with temperatures in the low 80s and it was perfect. The amount of fabric makes it a bit heavier, but you can tell it's high-quality. I loved the length on me. I would definitely love to wear this dress again!

Fabric is thicker so it works well for cooler spring days with a Jean jacket. I'm 5'4" and it hit right at the ankle so felt too long to wear with sneakers. Sandals better. Make sure to wear the belt- it's a little shapeless without it

I rented this for a Mommy & Me photo shoot with my son. The dress is so beautiful and comfortable! The fabric is thick without being heavy or hot. The flowers are stitched on and give the dress a great texture. I would say that it does run a little big even with the belt, so I would size down. I may have to keep this one, it really is a timeless piece!

So pretty and perfect for a summer outing. The fabric is very thick and heavy, it weighed a lot so it was kinda annoying to wear for a long day. But it looked very pretty!

This is a BEAUTIFUL embroidered dress with pockets, but it was uncomfortably tight around my chest and I couldn't wear it.

Loved the way it looked but fabric was so hot. Not an easy, breezy maxi. Granted it was a hot hot day but I was dying in this.

I usually wear a 2 but I will be ordering a size up.

Loved the dress except the fit was a little strange. It was really tight around my chest making it uncomfortable and not a great fit. The dress is beautiful although definitely heavier than anticipated. I would say size up if you're bigger in the chest but i think the rest of the dress would be too big as it's already a lot of material.

The chest is incredibly small and the rest of the dress runs large. It would work well as a maternity dress but size 2 sizes up.

It was just OK

There is no zipper to put this on, it's just a slip over the head. However, it's so tight in the chest, it's hard to breathe. From under the busy and down it's big and billowy. I would size up 1 or 2 if you have a bigger chest.

Too runs oddly small when the rest of the dress fits. Unfortunate since it's a pretty material and design in person.

This dress is wild.... it is very heavy, a lot of material. The dress is HUGE but so tight in the chest that I couldn't pull it over my girls.

Top was tight as other's mentioned. I wore it with a light jacket and it worked well.

Just the right length on me (5'3") with 2 inch wedges. Shape was a little different than most maxis, narrow (but not too narrow even on my wide ribcage) and gradually flares out; but maybe it just felt different because of the thick fabric. I wore it on hot days and wished it was a little thinner but it wasn't bad. Beautiful embroidery, felt more expensive than it is.

Loved this dress so much! Wore it twice. Once to drinks at a golf club and the second time on a date night. I am short and the 0 was the perfect length with some platform sandals but it was definitely on the fitted side over my 34A boobs. Definitely renting again but I'm going to size up for more comfort!

I really liked this dress but my husband said I looked like a curtain in it. I can see where he's coming from. This is def a dress that girls can appreciate but guys don't get, in my opinion. Still, I liked it. Tight in the chest.

Extremely comfortable dress that is great for a casual BBQ or to dress up for a night out. The fabric is gorgeous and very sturdy with beautiful appliqué. Rented it for a trip to the South, would definitely rent for summer seasons again.

Fit perfect and the embroidery was fabulous.

A bit tight on the top and I am not a particularly busty person.

Runs large so okay to size down to ensure a comfortable fit.
