This dress fit great overall so if you're considering ordering, you should. If you are larger on top, size up for backup. If you are smaller on top you may consider sizing down. I chose not to wear a strapless bra because it made me sit up a bit too high and also showed the bra a bit. However it was warm on a November night, yet revealing and sexy and still allowed movement. Fun rental for friends engagement party!

This dress was so adorable! I love ruffles on black dresses - they balance out the edginess with a little femininity! I tried to wear it without the little spaghetti straps, but it didn't work out. They dress was literally sliding off of me. That being said, it was definitely too big in a size 12. I would've tried an 10 or even a 8 for a snugger fit throughout. Otherwise, the dress was super pretty and it was really comfortable! The fabric was thick and great quality. I'd rent this in a heartbeat for my next date night or night out!

I wanted to wear it but it's too small in my hips like the other reviewers mentioned. I've never worn a M in dresses so I thought the S would fit. Needed to size up. Perfect in the chest and arms. I imagine my arms would be swimming in the M. This dress is true to size if you have no hips or booty.

really adds some spice to the LBD and was perfect for the autumn temperatures - the bust the straps were too big - had to pin the straps so the dress would fit correctly on top.

I loved this dress, I wore it for my birthday dinner/night out. It was really fun and I found it quite comfortable. I'm between sizes but sized down because it's stretchy. I personally didn't have a problem with the straps but they are not adjustable, so it really comes down to the fact that the straps were designed for someone of my proportions. I can see how someone shorter might have issues with them staying up. But overall I loved it!

This dress is great. It’s short enough for a petite person, forgiving, and the sleeves are awesome. You will def want dress tape and need to be comfortable showing a lotta cleavage.

Loved this dress for my company holiday party! Some said the sleeves fell down but mine stayed up just fine (and I have a very small chest so not too much holding it up). The material was thick and hugged my curves but not too tight so I could dance all night! Long enough to wear high heels and feel covered. The sleeves were a little long on me but so fun I kept swinging them around!

I looooved this dress! My favorite part was the sleeves. I will say that the sizing was a little weird, with the bottom running small and the top part running large. I am normally a 2, and the bottom half of the 4 was quite snug while the top half felt loose. This might be a great dress for more apple-shaped women. However, it was still beautiful and flattering on my pear-shaped self!

I loved this dress. The sleeves and length made it comfy without feeling super exposed, but the neckline and fit were still very flattering for a night out in Vegas. I just wish I'd gotten a better picture!

I ordered a 6 & 8 and went with the size 6. I knew it was going to be low cut, I'm a 34 D so I used athletic tape to pull by breasts apart and help hold them. I never felt like this dress was too short at all. Only con was the straps, they are thin and loose so they kept slipping off my shoulders. Other then that... everyone loved the dress!! I was so happy with it.

Absolutely loved this dress. The material is thick and stretchy so really sucks you in. I couldn't wear a strapless bra because the front dips pretty low so I recommend getting double sided tape to hold your t's in. I got so many compliments on it, would totally wear again. It's pretty short when you bend over so wear full coverage panties!

Got this dress last minute for Senior homecoming and got compliments all night. Very flattering, very unique and very comfortable. The fabric reminds me a bit like felt- it was a lot stiffer and more thick than I expected so it was pretty hot on the dance floor. Not sure if I missed that in the reviews because it was so last minute or it wasn't mentioned. The spaghetti straps fell down quite a bit but the dress stays up by itself. You don't have complete range of motion in arms, think like an 130 degree angle. Also- I have a pretty small chest, 32 A/B- but this dress really made me look good everywhere which is pretty difficult to find. I am VERY happy with this dress :)

Pros: Dress fit true to size. Very flattering to the torso and bust. Comfortable thick material. Cons: Tiny straps did not stay on shoulders. The hem on the bottom before the ruffle sat awkwardly in the middle of my butt so it felt like my cheeks were exposed, although they weren't because of the ruffle at the bottom. Overall: I loved this dress, I wore it to a bachelorette night out and received tons of compliments. At first I felt a little self conscious with the weird hem lines and the straps not staying on, but I made it work. I ended up using dress tape to tape the dress to my bust so I wouldn't have any slips. This dress made my feel sexy and I would definitely rent it again.

I got the 2&4. The two was a bit snug but after wearing it around the house I got it feeling comfy so the fabric does give a bit, wish it was lined just to have a super clean set of lines. The four ( which I usually am, I swam in the top and it was way longer on me) I really do recommend this dress bc it is quite fun to wear and rock with boots or heels.

First of all, everyone loved this dress. I can honestly say in all the years I've been renting, this is the dress that made everyone's stop and say how much they loved it. Extremely classy with statement sleeves, the fabric was heavier than it appears in photos, so it photographed beautifully but it got hot fast out there on the a dance floor. The off the shoulder design wasn't at all limiting for dancing and stayed in place all night. I wore a standard black bra with the dress and the straps were practically indistinguishable from the dress straps. .The reason for the four stars? The cut of the skirt. The line of the skirt falls just past the curve of your derriere and while it is long enough to fully cover, the unique cut makes it feel like the dress is in constant risk of exposure. I had zero flashing issues, (believe me i had all my girls on high alert) but I was highly conscious of it every time I got up from sitting or tried to drop it like it's hot. Big booty girls may want to size up because this is a beautiful dress, and a show stopper.

Wore it for a night out and recieved many compliments. My husband loved it although it was was more revealing than I'm comfortable with. Like many reviewers have said, the straps do not stay up which causes the dress to be super revealing and annoying because I was pulling it up all night. I found the dress to be much larger on top then the bottom. The fabric is thick and scuba-like, which I liked and found comfortable. It would be a perfect dress if the sizing was more accurate.

This is a great designer for short girls and I love it, but I am 5ft tall. Be careful this dress was short on me. Maybe sticky boobs would work but low cut and needs a strapless bra. Straps were stretched out. Wasn't my favorite rental, but it's your short this is a different LBD option!

I wanted to wear this for my boyfriend's birthday dinner, but it was a complete failure. There is no amount of fashion tape that could get this dress to cover my bra. So I tried without the bra. But if I'm not wearing a bra, I definitely need to rely on the straps to stay up. The straps were so long, they were nowhere near useful. I tried tying knots in them to shorten them, but the material wouldn't hold the knot. There was just no way. Mind you- I'm an A cup and this dress couldn't decently cover my A cups in a bra. I also strongly feel that all dresses on RTR that have thin straps like these should have the straps be adjustable. And if a designer makes a dress with non-adjustable straps, RTR should just alter them to be adjustable. These dresses are intended to fit every kind of woman- adjustable straps are a must.

I just loved this dress so much, thinking of buying it! It's so pretty that everyone looks at it when I enter the room. I'm a size zero so the top part is a little big but I used some tape to get it in place.

This fit way better than I thought it would considering the low cut top. The top and sleeves stayed up all night. The fabric is stiff so you don't have a lot of wiggle room if it's not quite the right fit. The peplum skirt and long sleeves were perfect for an after party for my formal event. My only complaint is the little spaghetti straps kept falling down, but I eventually just let them be down and it was just fine.

The torso was so short and *I* am very short. I ended up not wearing it outside of my closet.

It fits like a glove. I typically dress more conservatively but I tried a new look for NYE and loved it! I am very petite and flat chested and worried it would be too revealing, but it accentuated all the right spots! Would absolutely rent this again
