I felt pretty in this dress and my husband loved it. I am 5'2" and the length was good, I think it would be fine for anyone under 5'6". The slip is very flattering and fits well. The "v" is not plunging, hardley shows cleavage. Overall, I loved wearing this dress.

Love this dress, definitely form fitting but material is thick enough keeping those 'imperfections' hidden. If you have a booty, no chance that you're bending over because the bottom is short. But all in all got lots of compliments.

I didn't realize this is a lace overlay and a slip. Made for a very sexy combo. Short and flirty, this was a lot of fun to wear!

I love this dress- I felt so sexy in it. The 4 fit, but it was short so I ended up wearing the 6 so I'd feel more comfortable. The short length and revealing neck line go well with the long sleeves, I️ felt like less skin was showing (since I'm fairly conservative).

Loved the dress! Wore it for New Years this year. The pink slip underneath can shift a lot and can become frustrating at times.

Overall a good refresh to your standard LBD. HOWEVER: the peach poly chemise that comes with the dress has zero give in it, so if you have the slightest hint of a butt on you, mandatory spanx so nobody gets a glimpse of your lovely lady humps. The bell sleeves are cute and on trend, and the openwork lace of the top layer was in great condition - no snags or pulls anywhere. You could slip the lace dress over your favorite bodycon black dress for a nice change-up, if you wanted.

This dress was my second choice, but my first pick arrived damaged. I wore the size 6 and was comfortable all evening in the dress, aside from the times I needed to climb into and out of the limosine, the dress is short and makes for difficulty manuevering while bent over. Other than that it was as described, and I received compliments throughout the evening. I would say it is a good choice for a night out.

This dress is extremely short. If I wasn't wearing tights I wouldn't have been able to wear it. When I sat down the slip would ride up and basically become a shirt. It was a little tighter that expected, especially the slip. Not sure if sizing up would help as then the sleeves would be too long. Kind of just an odd fitting dress. I would avoid if you are tall. I still enjoyed and thought it was cute but would never wear it again. (Sorry for the awkward pose in the pic. Only one that best showed the dress without the jacket covering it up)

Fit a little too short (and I'm 5'2) and didn't do anything for me. I thought it was more structured from the picture. I didn't realize it was a slip separate. Not very supportive or structured and somehow the seams accentuated my stomach and made me look even rounder than my postpartum body wanted to look. Would be a nice dress on the right person but didn't do much for me.

Love the material and fit of the dress. I am 5'4 and it is a mini dress; if you are tall this is not for you. Brings the slip and the material on top is beautiful weave with a little give (not much); form fitting very flattering, I am between a size 6 and 8 ordered 8.

If you pick the correct size (like I did) you will love this dress! It is very flattering and fun for the colder season.

I loved this dress so much I wore it twice. Its super super flattering, and it is sexy while also being subdued. Very comfortable, great length, great sleeve length, and easy to accessorize.

Great dress, I received it brand-new with the tags still attached. Unfortunately I was unable to wear it because it was a bit too big on me. I typically wear a 6 or sometimes a 4 but I felt this way in a little large. It is 2 layers. It has a peach liner that has a zipper and then the black lace dress that goes over it

Fit well. The dress was torn- you could see this clear once worrn but not while in the hanger.

I love this dress. Runs on the larger side, though yes, its a short dress. I tried in an 8 as well, and the 8 was tent-like; i wore the 6. Super flattering, sexy dress. Recd many compliments. Note the inner slip, and its short too; awareness is key. To note, Ive tried this dress on multiple occassions and recd dresses with quality issues, that is, with snags & tears.

This dress was perfect for a night on the town. You could wear it out and be so comfortable and still feel like you were dressed up. Multiple people commented on it throughout the night. It is actually a slip dress with a lace cover up. I am a size 8 and wore the 10 without having to unzip any of the zippers so it definitely does not run small.

I am a small person both night and with. I normally have no problems with any garments I get. This one I could not sit down in and it as so short.... there was no appropriate photo to post to so how short. In order to sport this dress correctly I would say you need to have no chest at all and maybe no backside.

This dress was surprisingly more form fitting than it looked in photos. I would not rent if you are self conscious about your stomach. The under layer and the way the pattern is definitely draws attention to your mid section. It is beautiful though, I love the lace pattern.

I felt to old to pull this one off. Very mini and fitted. Returned without wearing.

Sleeves are way too long for petites. Not a cute look. Lace overlay material is nice. Sort of big up top and tight on stomach. Looked unflattering overall. Slip was tight. Lovely concept. Odd fit. Looks great on other RTR customers in pics.

I run TTS in most brands (size 2). Nicholas brand is hard to predict. This is the second dress from the brand I've rented. The slip is super tight with no stretch so honestly, i didn't even try to put the actual dress on. Sent it back immediately. It looked sexy so unfortunate that it didn't work out.
