This dress makes for a great everyday look. It's very loose throughout making it very comfortable and suitable for all body types. At 5'8 this style would be more or a mini length than mid thigh. The fabric does not have any stretch to it. We would recommend wearing black booties with this look!

The fit was a little large, I would have been better off with a size 6. It's a super cute dress, though. I dressed it down with leggings and a leather jacket. The material was starting to fray a little. I would imagine that if I had kept this piece and wore it several times it wouldn't last long. Not what I expected from a piece that retails for several hundred dollars.

I loved this dress and felt like it totally fit true to size! The length was perfect, and even though I wore it to an outdoor rehearsal dinner in July, I never felt warm because the material is so light. I did feel like the arms were a bit constricted and couldn't move them completely, but it got better as the night went on. I cannot wait to rent another Nicholas dress soon!

Cute dress but the atms were too long and much lower cut in the chest than pictured.

I tried on the dress is it was huge. I was surprised at how it dropped and sagged around the shoulders and waist. I like the black floral print.

I would rent this dress or even buy this dress over and over again. The print is gorgeous in person and it has adjustable features on the writs and neckline so it adjusts to you perfectly. I normally wear a size 8 but after reading the reviews I ordered a size 6 and it was PERFECT! I highly recommend wearing the dress for any occasion. I wore this dress for Valentine's Day and for a my god son's Baptism.

Yes, I really did buy this dress. Very flattering fit, comfortable and perfect all year round. I wore this to a book signing event for my company at Barneys New York Madison Avenue and it was the perfect combo of style with class. I received many compliments. I lost some weight recently but normally I would wear a 10. The 10 was way too loose so thankfully I had the 8 (who doesn't love having to size down?!) This dress doesn't stretch. I wore this with somewhat transparent black tights and knee-high boots which made it perfect for wearing it during the winter. Definitely a must-rent!

This was so cute and flattering. It was a bit revealing in the bust, but was perfect for the vibe of the evening. I didn't want to give it back!

It is a flowy dress that gives off a feminine vibe. I would buy this if I could. It was a very beautiful piece and I loved wearing it out. It is a little loose but it's supposed to be that way

Love this dress and how it felt/looked. A bit too loose in the stomach area for me which made me look a little bulky, but if I wore a size smaller the top portion wouldn't have fit so worked well enough for the rehearsal brunch I went to.

I have a small(ish) waist and it fit it perfectly. I have an abundant backside and the inside layer was a little snug, but the flouncy skirt made it look nice.

I'm 5'3 and pretty petite, the size 0 fits me pretty well, the breast and shoulder part is a little tight but you can adjust the next tie.

Loved this! Patterns are normally not my style, but I gave this a shot. Will definitely be ordering another Nicholas piece in the near future.

Wore to office with flat OTK boots, a girls night dinner with a fur vest, tights, and high heeled ankle booties, then again on a date with heeled OTK Stuart Weitzman boots. Amazing dress, very well made. Short but not too short. Whispy, silk fabric makes it a great TRANS piece. Wear it in winter, spring, or fall! Dress up or down. Normally I have to size up 1-2 sizes in Nicholas (I am a 25/26 and a 2/4 in most brands). With other Nicholas items, I am usually struggling to zip up anything in a size 4 or 6 (they use U.K. Sizing). I worse the 6 but 4 would have fit better. Maybe they adjusted sizing this season? Either way, hedge your Nicholas bets and order at least 1 size up so you can wear this amazing dress!!

i'm typically a 4 but got a 6 because the last dress i got from this designer was a little tight in the 4, but i should've stuck w the 4. if i got the 4 it wldve fit perfectly! the dress is lovely and flows very well. it's perfect for transition months and is incredibly comfortable. really enjoyed the pattern and highly recommend.

Super cute and fun, received a ton of compliments! One thing to note is the dress has no stretch and the ties around the wrists come undone a bit easy. I couldn't wear a bra because the top was a bit snug, but because of the tie around the neck, you can adjust how revealing (or not) the dress is.

This is a really adorable dress, but I have a 34D chest and it was tight there. The rest fit great!

a little short (and I'm short!) but very comfortable for work but when I bent over the dress went almost entirely up in the back. Wouldn't pay full price ever but is a nice dress to rent and return

It's really cute but I found it to be tight through the upper arms and shoulders. I ended up returning it before wearing it because I didn't think I would have a full range of motion during the day. It's also pretty low cut. You probably need a camisole underneath.

While this dress wasn't too tight, I️t had limited arm range. I felt like it could rip.

I wore this dress to work, and loved it! My only comment is that the skirt is slightly shorter in the back than in the front. And because of the way the sleeves are cut, you can't really lift your arms without lifting the skirt as well.

Pretty dress. It runs small and has a weird section around the waist that is unflattering. The pattern is beautiful though.

The dress was very pretty w/ a nice floral detail. However, docking two stars because the top/shoulders fit very strange. There was too much fabric to tie it as seen in the model photo because it bunched up very weird but when left untied, again too much fabric so it kept slipping off my shoulders and became a hassle all night. Would probably work better for someone with a fuller bust who can fill out the fabric more or be prepared to use fashion tape to keep the shoulders in place.

I'm only 5'5" and this dress was very short on me. Also flew up constantly with any tiny gust of air.

Fit ran a little small. Didn't love the fit. It sort of flared out at the hips in a way that wasn't flattering. Also you have to wear a camisole with it to make it work appropriate which I didn't love

It was way too big and had an odd fit.

This was an extremely awkward fitting dress. The bottom was perfect and the torso was so long and tight it hung but I couldn't zip it at the top. I loved the fabric and print of the dress so was very disappointing. Would likely fit a slender, tall woman.
