This dress is gorgeous on! The material is a heavy knit that really holds everything in place :) I wore a regular strapless bra with it. The color is a bright red and the slit is just high enough. If you are over 5'6" and wear heels- order the long. Im 5'7" and wore a 3" heel and the 2L barely touched the top of my feet. Its extremelt comfortable and easy to dance, sit and go to the bathroom in!

So comfortable and loved the cut of the dress in the front and in the back, so flattering. The bottom hemline was slightly soiled but not noticeable-

I rented this dress for an Army Ball. One of my favorite rentals so far. The dress has some stretch but held it's shape (and mine) all night long. It'a a conservative style with a beautiful splash of color. You'll definitely stand out against the typical black gowns worn at a formal event. In person the red is more orange than it appears in the photographs so be cautious if you're looking for a deeper red. I'll definitely rent this dress again!!

I can't say enough good things about this dress! The material is thick and kept all my bits exactly where I wanted them to stay! I didn't even need to wear a bra. I'm 5'10" and the 4L was perfect with 3" heels. I got compliments all night and felt like a million bucks!

I rented this for a military formal event. First off, I am 34D, 130 lbs, 5'7". This dress in a 4R fit like a glove and the length just showed the toe of my heels. It was form fitting enough that you could vaguely see my belly button ring and showed all my curves, but was a thick enough fabric that I could have gotten away with not wearing a bra if I wanted to. However, the back is high enough that I wore a strapless bra with no problem. It was extremely figure flattering, showed off all my curves and made me feel like a knockout. The color is definitely more of an orange-red, but complimented my significant other's uniform very well. Recommend! I felt confident and comfortable and didn't have to adjust anything all night.

Fit was wonderful

Normally I'm a size 2 or 4 but the 6 fit great. Because the material is a little thick, it might run small as a result. Very comfortable and slimming. It was a standout since most people at the gala I attended wore black. Lots of compliments!

This dress is made from a thick, stretchy, fabric. It was easy to move around in and sexy without being revealing.

I rented this as a backup to the Alison Parris Marilyn for a black tie optional wedding and it ended up just working better. The fabric is thick enough to hide any lumps and bumps and I probably didn't need Spanx in this but I wore them anyway. I'm 5'5" and wore 4" heels and it was juuuuust long enough. Recommend!

I was almost embarrassed to be wearing this dress, especially with my 11 year old in tow, just because it was so bright and eye-catching! I wear a uniform to work every day so I can't tell you how many people said, "I almost didn't recognize you!" It's a very form-fitting dress but extremely comfortable with a soft stretchy fabric. I highly recommend if you're looking for a dress that will make you stand out from the crowd.

Rented this gown for a formal wedding and loved it! I am 5 months pregnant but this dress had a little stretch in the fabric to hug my growing bump perfectly. I had to go two sizes up for the perfect fit. The color was more orange than red. I received many compliments all night. Will definitely use RTR for the next wedding I attend.

This dress is both beautiful and colorful. I wore it to a Hollywood themed event and it was perfect for it. The slit was just sexy enough but not too sexy for something like a work event (which this was). I have put on some weight in the past few months so the size I normally wear was a bit tighter than I would have liked but the material is thick enough that it helped to hide some of the problem spots! The long size option was also great since I am very tall.

The long option was great for me as I am 5'8. The dress was gorgeous, the material is beautiful. The only con is that it was a little uncomfortable to dance in.

I'm 6.5 months pregnant so I sized up from my usual size 4, hourglass. Loved this dress!

Wore this to Military Gala and it was perfection! Color is orange red which is what I thought it would be and exactly what I wanted! Fabric is not formal (stretch/poly cotton blend type) but the style and neckline makes up for it! Can be easily dressed up with accessories. Fit like a glove, no bra required and very comfortable +++! I was sent 2 dresses size 0 & 2. The size 2 was a bit more comfortable, but had a stain on it. Called CustomerCare and was sent (overnighted) my 2nd choice/different style cause another 2R was not available. Decide to go with 1st choice smaller size cause 2nd choice was damaged as well. :( BUT... so glad I did and the size 0 actually fit perfect after I put my spanx on ;). Overall a great experience! Although, I received a stain dress....CustomerCare is great and quickly resolved issue. **My recommendation-Make sure and order at least 2 days from event to give time for any issues. :)

RTR couldn't send the original dress I ordered due to a damage, BUT they still made sure I got sent a similar, yet even more gorgeous dress (and it still arrived on time to Hawaii, nonetheless)! I was not able to try my regular size 4 on but the 6 worked so I had to roll with it! It was SO comfortable, easy to dance in, didn't require a slip, and fit my small 5'2'' frame perfectly with my 3 inch heels. And I love the side slit for a classic, yet fun look. Always have a great experience with RTR - rent this dress, it's a stunner!!

This dress fit me like a glove! I had so many women compliment that this dress was the "dress" of the night. It was very easy to move around in and I was dancing a lot. This was my first RTR experience and I am customer for life! I just want to wear it again!

This dress was amazing! I had a baby 6 months ago and I wanted some elegant, fun and tight! I got lots of compliments all night. The fit was perfect. My only negative is that it wasn't the material I was expecting. It was thicker more wool like material. But the only one that noticed or paid attention was me. I would definitely recommend this dress I felt beautiful and fabulous all night!

I should have gotten the 6 because the 4 is true to size and was snug around the breast and waist but that's on me wanting to fit a smaller size ha! Received plenty of compliments and it was truly a show stopper-no bra needed and perfect for dancing

This dress was SO great. Can't tell from the pictures, but the material is almost like a heavy sweatshirt material... which was perfect for me. I could eat, move, dance, and enjoy myself without feeling super restricted. I normally wear an 8 in jeans and the 8 was a perfect fit. I did wear Spanx to smooth everything out, but it was comfortable without. The slit was appropriate and didn't make me feel self conscious. Got compliments on the dress all night! Personally, loved the color and the neckline. Such a pleasure to wear.

I absolutely loved this dress! I wore it to the DC Heart Ball. It was honestly one of the most comfortable dresses I've ever worn. I didn't wear any shape wear, but did need to wear a Nu-Bra. I'm 5'7" and the 6L was perfect with 3-4 inch heels. I was nervous about wearing red, but the shade is fabulous. I received compliments all night long, and was sad to return it!

The material is stretchy, so while form fitting, it is very comfortable & makes it easy to sit and stand. I feel this dress runs true to size. The red is vibrant, so be ready to stand out! Received so many compliments!

This is my second time using RTR. This red dress is AWESOME. I would have worn the 4R but it has red wine stains on it. :( luckily, I had this back up dress. I'm 5'6 and the heels made the dress the perfect length. The stretch of the fabric is nice. It's also a thicker fabric, you don't feel like you are in a "cheap" dress. The color is more burnt red orange than a true red. In a sea of AIr Force navy and women in black dresses, this was a bold choice and well worth it. Many compliments throughout the night.

Pros: Beautiful vibrant red, great length, slight stretch, extremely comfortable. Cons: I thought the dress would have a little sheen to it. It's actually quite flat but still looks amazing in person. Side Note: I'm 5'7" and wore 2 1/2" heels. In my opinion, if you're over 5'6" go for the long length!

Wore this to a black tie wedding. I usually don't go with bold color but decided to venture out of my comfort zone. I'm so glad I did!! This dress is stunning! I received compliments all night long. It truly fit like a glove and accentuated every little curve. I wore it with a backless sticky bra. The material of the dress caught is a little odd, almost feels like felt. I was a little concerned it wouldn't look good or fit a formal affair, but once I tried it on I fell in love. Comfortable and easy to dance in all night long. And my hubby absolutely loved it! ;-) Overall, amazing dress!

This formfitting dress is wonderful. It sits perfectly on your curves and the thicker material helps hide any bumps or lumps. I wore it to a black tie optional dinner where my boss was the honoree and I think I may have gotten more compliments than he did! (Totally kidding) I did receive several compliments on this dress and I would totally rent it again.

The material was thick and forgiving. It also was a great vibrant red. Great color on also warm toned ladies.

My husband said I looked hot ;) and he honestly is usually so oblivious to what I'm wearing so it's a big deal when he notices! The picture I posted sorta makes it look like you can see my panty-line through the dress but it's just bunched up because of how I'm holding my son. I wore a NuBra but you could probably get away with a strapless bra or even straps if you have the kind where you can attach the straps wherever you want. It is definitely form fitting but it didn't feel tight at all. I'm about 5'3" and length was perfect with 3 inch heels. I tried on the size 4 for backup and it was pretty loose in the middle, but I have very narrow hips. If you're not very curvy then I think this dress will really work for you!

Tight in the upper back when zipped up but a very nice fit! The material was SO comfortable and I got a lot of compliments on the dress.
