I love this dress! I am 5’9”so I went with an 8 long, and it was absolutely perfect with my 3 inch heels. I was a little concerned about the belt, hoping that it would look as good as it did in the picture. It absolutely did! I love everything about this dress. I felt beautiful!!

This dress was amazing! The material is thicker and a little textured so it doesn't look like an overly formal dress. The top was tight and I didn't need to wear a bra. That said, my boobs were prominently featured! The straps don't adjust--I was lucky and they fit perfect. I wore this with flats and being 5'9" the dress just came to the floor. With heels, it would've been too short. But shorter gals be warned!

Straps are a bit long so I styled down with baby tee. Loved so much I bought. Fabric doesn’t give so size up for comfort.

Beautiful dress. Understated, but classy and flattering. Straps are soooo long. If you order this dress make sure you have a ribbon to tie straps in back, then it worked perfectly. Luckily my hair covered the tie in back.

Rented for a law school event and this was the perfect black dress. I am usually between a size 6 or 8 and was able to squeeze into the 6. Which was good, considering the strap situation mentioned in other reviews.

I LOVED this dress and how it fit. The long length was ideal as I am 5'10". Only complaint was that the straps were a bit loose and not adjustable so my chest was a bit exposed. Otherwise, fit like a glove and the belt was a great built in accessory!

Im 5’6 135 normally wear a 4…the 8 was snug and LOTS of cleavage. I took off the belt and wore a moto jacket, and it looked amazing. But was nervous about ‘the girls’ all night.

I sized one size up and was glad I did as the chest is slightly tighter. Liked the dress for a wedding, it was cute and well structured

OnlyGiving this 4 stars because fashion tape is needed to keep the chest area flat/ from bulging out! Other than that it was amazing, a really heavy good quality fabric that hides imperfections!

The material of this dress is thicker with structure, which I loved. The way it lays is perfect and shows the right amount of cleavage. I loved this dress and will rent it again when I have somewhere to go.

So close to an amazing dress! Guh! The straps on this dress were so ridiculously long, they wouldn't stay on my shoulders for more than 5 seconds. As a result, the bodice of the dress would kind of flap open. Not a good look for an office party! This dress would have been absolutely perfect if the straps were about 4" shorter. The weight of the fabric was beautiful and otherwise the fit was wonderful

This is a lovely dress but too long on the torso for me. The spaghetti straps are more than 4 inches too long for me. I had to make adjustments to make them work.

The straps are a bit long so I did use a ribbon in the back but it holds the stomach in, no bra needed and really makes you look great. I would size up if you have bigger boobs/rib cage area

Love the style and cut. Only complaint is the straps are VERY long. Other reviewers mentioned this but I thought I would pin them for the party. I did, but unfortunately, the pins came undone every time I had to reach up to get something from the cupboard or down to pick up or help one of my kids. I hope RTR shortens the straps a little.

This was such a beautiful dress, I loved it. But sadly, couldn't wear it. I'm a classic pear shape, size 0-2 on top and 4-6 on the bottom. A size 2 fit perfectly around my waist and surprisingly hung perfectly across my hips. But the upper part was definitely meant for someone with a size D chest. Not a B. The straps fell constantly and the gap between my chest and the fabric was too much to ignore. My measurements are 32B/27/38.

this dress was SO beautiful and fit to a T, but I never got to wear it. Gorgeous fabric. Someday... when we are back in a more normal life!

The top was loose and it was a bit tight in the midsection but otherwise loved it!

The dress was the perfect length and ideal for a black tie wedding. There were no loopholes for the belt so I didn't wear it. The straps were a touch too long, however with a little tape I was able to dance the night away.

Loved, however the belt that I received had a completed crack in the buckle. I wore anyways but this was quite disappointing considering I would have purchased.

Loved the dress and fit. But like the others the straps are a bit big.

I’m pear shaped and just over 5’9”. I thought this would work for me but unfortunately didn’t. Just okay on my hips but way too big on top. Also, I ordered a long but it wasn’t as long (16L) as I expected.

This dress is not for small chested people. Dress fit everywhere but top, I was swimming in the bust

I wore this for a fall wedding - great heavy material for weather and quality for black tie. Belt was a highlight and so flattering! Very good hold and did not have to adjust all night. On fit - I'm tall enough that the straps were only slightly loose, and the length of the 4P was perfect. In my opinion it's not just the straps - the bodice in general was wide and did not fit snugly. I would've size down to a 2 in this case, but even then the cut feels a little off.

I sized down and the straps were still comically big. Used a safety pin to crisscross them in the back which took away from the impact of an otherwise gorgeous gown.

I really wanted this dress to work out, but the top gaped too much for my size A chest. The waist/ribs is very fitted and the length is good. Material is heavier and stiffer than I'd expected. Would have been really flattering if the chest had been filled out. True to size.

Sadly, i was unable to wear this dress. It was just too small in the rib cage to be comfortable and, as other reviewers noted, the unadjustable straps were far too long to pull off the look.

Beautiful cut material and dress overall but the straps are too long. Many of the reviews said that but it was really true. Too unfortunate!

Don't rent it. I should have listened to other reviews. Body fits great, super cute dress, but completely unwearable as the shoulder straps are too long...by inches. It isn't even close and there is no way to 'fake' it with safety pins or something due to the cut and material.
