This dress fit like a glove! It had just enough stretch in the material, and it was thick enough to hide any imperfections. A little complicated to put on, but the back of the dress is amazing. Very flattering for pear shaped women. Would definitely recommend.

This dress ran a bit small, but fortunately has some stretch to it. I would definitely get the back up in the next size up. The front is very simple, but pretty. The straps and zipper on the back are very cool and make the dress stand out from the average black dress. The fabric is pretty thick so I did not need a bra. You definitely need a helper to zip the back zipper!

I saw in other reviewers comments that they tucked in a strap that should have went around the back, into the front of the dress, and thats exactly what I did, it gave the back and sides a more open look which was nice. Definitely won't regret renting this dress.

This was actually my back up dress. I had ordered another dress that didn't work out and called RTR right away. They said I could choose another style and they would have it overnighted. This lovely black Nicholas dress arrived just in time for the wedding! I cannot say enough great things about RTR customer service!!! This dress was an absolute show stopper! I received compliments all night long! I was a little hesitant going with a sleeveless dress for a winter wedding but I think the length and the thick fabric made it work! It fits very true to size. I'm usually an 8, and the 8 fit like a glove!! I'm about 5 ft 4, and the dress went past my knee. But the length totally works for this style dress. Wouldn't change a thing! The thick material is amazing and hugs you in all the right places and you don't need to wear any spanx or anything like that. The back is amazing and a total wow-factor! Warning: You WILL need assistance getting this bad boy on though. The back cutout and sleeves make it a bit tricky. But regardless sooo worth it. I WISH I owned this dress. You will not be disappointed renting this one!

Getting into this dress, I felt like Houdini! But once I was in, I felt so elegant and special! The fabric has some stretch to it, but nips you in in all the right places! The neckline was really flattering also. I would wear this dress again!

This dress was perfect for my hourglass body! It hug me at all the right places and I love how it for like a long pencil skirt going past the knees. Very classy and sexy at the same time. Be mindful of the bra you go with or go commando as the back has an intricate back design. Also, it was a little difficult to get into, but overall it's a great dress.

The fit does run small so I would recommend getting your actual size and a size up. They ran out of the size up for the evening so I had to squeeze into my actual size. Pros- amazing back. It is open in the back however, it is still formal for any occasion. Cons - top is a bit difficult to get in but when you figured it out the dress is truly amazing!

This dress is gorgeous! Listen to the reviews and rent a size or two up. The material is very thick and doesn't have much give. That being said, it feels amazing on! I wore it for a day wedding in the winter and it was perfect!

The material is so fantastic it held in my little extra flub in wonderfully. I got so many compliments. The only negative thing is its a bit tight on the bottom so it's slightly difficult to walk quickly in.

Snug fit but the material has some stretch. This is a tricky dress to get on and off but once its on it fits like a glove. One note about this dress that i did not see in other reviews, its tea length (below the knees) and its narrow at the bottom so when walking in it, i had to to take small steps (and going up and down big stairs -like getting on and off a bus for a wedding- is a little challenging). Overall I LOVED this dress. It was a perfect mix of classy in the front and sexy in the back. Great RTR experience so far!

This dress was so flattering. However it runs very small especially in the chest area! I'm only a 32 C and I was uncomfortable.

I normally wear a size 0 but sized up to a 2 as per the reviews suggested. It was snug but comfortable. I really loved this dress.

Love love this dress!! I was concerned about wearing a fitted dress since I'm self conscious about my midsection, but the fabric and cut of the dress were really flattering. I felt very classy in this dress and loved the cut outs in the back. It's a bit tricky to get into (go one arm at a time!) and since it hits below the knee my stride was limited, but it really is a lovely dress. Highly recommend it!

The dress fit like a glove. I'm pretty tall, with a smaller upper half as compared to my bottom half, and I usually wear a 6 or an 8, more so an 8. I was nervous, given all the other reviews, that even the 8 would be too tight. Turns out the 8 was too big around the top of the skirt in the back, and the middle / strap / zip part was really big. The 6 fit me like a glove, perfectly. You can get away with the tightness because of the thick fabric, too. Felt great all night, got a ton of compliments.

I was kind of reluctant to rent this one...but I'm glad I did! The picture on the site did it no justice. I felt fab when I slipped this on! I had several stop me and say where did you get that dress! The fit is true to size...if you are busty or hippy...go up a size!

The fit was perfect I am 5'7 and 140 lbs and the 8 fit perfectly. I do think I could have fit into a 6 easily because the 8 wasn't tight but to be comfortable the 8 was great. It was the perfect below the knee length with the perfect back. Sleep and beautiful in photos all night. I got so many compliments.

This dress is fabulous!!!! Got compliments all night, even from friends that weren't there but saw pics on IG. Also overheard two golfing ladies in the parking lot oohing and aahing over it. I'm pretty conservative, but the length made up for the back cutouts for me. It was the slightest bit snug on the bottoms of my thighs and a tad loose around the waist, but at 5'11 I'm used to the hip area of the dress falling slightly high. (Which explains both) Busty gals may get some side-boob, I had to 'tuck' a few times during the evening. Also, as I have to wear a bra...... the sides of my strapless bra were too wide and showed.... but a strapless black bikini top worked perfectly. ;-)) Getting into this dress is kind of a pain. Like putting on one of those cross-backed bathing suits when you were a kid. Also, due to the way you have to get into it you need to put it on before hair and makeup-- which terrified the clutz in me. If you're concerned take a black dress shirt and cover yourself. (no lint)

This is the perfect little black dress. I am usually a size 0 and ordered a 4 and 6 knowing that it ran small. The 4 fit perfectly and I was complimented all night. The cross back is a nice detail and the dress is very form fitting. Good for showing off an hour glass figure. I do have a larger chest and my only complaint was that it was a little tight on top but overall fit like it was made for me. I would definitely consider this rental!

So I had originally ordered another dress but RTR notified me last minute that that dress was damaged or late. So they let me pick another dress at no cost. This dress was really tight at first but became very comfortable and fit like a glove. I had trouble getting the straps over my head at first. You need to do it one at a time. The dress was quite long for my height but because of the cutouts, the length kept it elegant and classy. I love love this dress. I actually considered buying it. It's the perfect black dress especially because of the back cutouts.

I wore this dress to a black tie celebration. I wanted something classic and elegant but still a little sexy. This dress nailed all three. My RTR stylist mentioned that it runs really small and suggested to order it one size up. I have an hourglass figure with a size 6 bottom and size 4 waist and I was swimming in the size 8. The size 6 ended up being a perfect fit and because the material has a great stretch to it, it was super forgiving in all the right places. You're not able to wear a bra because of the cut outs in the back but because of the stretch I felt comfortable enough to go without. I would defiantly recommend this dress. I received a ton of compliments and felt really confident in it. I'm even considering buying it outside of RTR for future events.

Definitely order a size up - runs small up top. I got my usual size (2) and a size up (4) based on reviews, and the bottom of my usual size fit PERFECTLY but the top was way too tight.. The bottom of the size up still fit pretty well though, and the top was perfect. It hit just below my knees, which I loved, and thought the length gave the dress a more formal look. Material is very comfortable and form fitting - has a little stretch. Perfect LBD, has a bit of an edge but still classy. Lots of compliments!

I love this dress! I knew that it ran small so I ordered a size 4 when I typically wear a size 0 or 2. It fit great! I would like to see how the size 2 fit to compare, but know there is no way a size 0 would've fit. I would recommend sizing up at least one, if not two, sizes depending on your body type. If you are larger in the bust or hips, def size up twice. I am 5'2" and the dress hit about mid-calf and was super flattering with heels. The material is on the heavier side, so be aware of that. Tip: To get into the dress, you need to put one strap over your head, then the other, then put each arm through, all while both zippers are undone.

When putting the dress on, be sure to loop the straps together before putting it over your head. The straps essentially form into a circle that you stick your head through. Again, definitely size up. I really liked this dress. The fabric is stretchy but thicker and is really put together well. Which made it fit so nicely. It's very fitted, although I think the size 6 was a tad big but the size 4 was just a little tight. I think I'd have been better of wearing the 4. Loved the back on this dress.

I rented this for a wedding. It was a little confusing to put on with the crisscrossing straps but once on it felt so comfortable. Make sure you check out the back. I was a little self-conscious about my not so toned back bc some of it is exposed. The crisscross front was a beautiful feature. I felt very comfortable and feel like it flattered my figure.

I ordered a 4 (usual size) and a size 6 for an upcoming wedding. I ended up wearing the size 6 to the wedding, so definitely size up! As much as I loved the look of dress, it was such a pain for me to get on! The dress is so tight but with much effort, I got it on! Overall dress is sexy and classy, and perfect for weddings or any formal event! My advice to you is that you give yourself plenty of time to get in this dress and then work it!

This dress is very flattering, it has thick materials to hide any flaws! The dress is definitely tighter on the bottom then it is up top. No need to wear a bra. Great LBD for wedding or party! Very pleased.
