The 10 was true to size. I'm between 8-10 right now, so an 8 might have worked too but the looseness worked well for all day at work.

I'm 17 weeks pregnant so I went up one size. I wore this to work and felt great. The skirt was comfortable and the material has a bit of stretch

Length was appropriate for work and very comfortable for an active day in the office.

Really enjoy this skirt. Wasn’t too form fitting so perfect for work. It was a bit big at the waist—waist size is 24’—so I paired with a belt which worked well.

This was a great every day skirt for work. I am a 6/8 and this 6 for just a little loose around the waist.

This skirt fits like a dream and has good stretch to it. The pattern gives it a little kick, makes things more interesting. Super flattering. Paired here with RTR'd Philip Lim red turtleneck. Next week it will meet a nice button down and a pair of pumps.

This is a great work skirt. Great length. Nice stretchy material. I'm usually a 6 or 8 and the 6 had room.

I borrowed the skirt for work and paired it with a maroon top that I already have. The material is nicely structured but still had some stretch Which is good for somebody who has a stomach (and the stomach being the problem area). It was very comfortable to sit and from 9 to 5 but it's still held and kept its shape by the end of the day. Light enough for the summer but not see-through!

Love the pattern! Fit great. My belly swells at the end of the day, the fabric had enough give, but I couldn't pull off a tight top with it. Perfect rental skirt! People notice and remember.

I love this classic skirt by Nanette Lepore! Running true to size with no stretch, I recommend wearing your true size for your primary size and going up for your back up. This style is fitted throughout the midsection and fitted at the hips. Pair with heels and a statement clutch to complete your outfit!

The skirt was a little big but it's because it was size 14 and I usually wear 12....still got a lot of compliments

The fit is a little large but I am not sure if this is the normal Nanette lepore fit in skirts. I definitely will rent again!

Great work alternative to the black pencil skirt. My usual size 10 wasn't available so I went with the 8. The fabric has lots of give and while it definitely hugged my curves, the length made it still work appropriate. The 10 probably would have hung a little loser in the back around my bum. I ended up pairing this with a basic black blouse and tights due to an unexpected spring cold snap, but this could easily be worn in cold or warm weather. It's fully lined, which helped smooth things out (especially since I went down a size). The skirt hit my waist in the perfect spot to create an hour glass effect and keep my shirt tucked in, but was still comfortable to sit down in.

Fit was great. Nice material, was comfortable and didn't wrinkle. At knee length worked well with pumps.

Wore this skirt to work and received tons of compliments. It's simple yet classy. Very comfortable with a little stretch which helps if wearing for a long time. Did have to continuously pull down and rotate so it fit a little big.

I rented this skirt for work thinking that I'd wear it with a black silk too. The skirt was too long and too big in the waist. Material is pretty stiff and not particularly dressy.

LOVE this skirt, it's just the right length. The fabric weight is really nice, with just a bit of give and it's the exact right length for work. Super versatile as the light color in the check is an off-white so this can go with all kinds of blouses and sweaters. I think this piece will transition really easily for fall-winter-spring. Loved it so much I bought it!

Size 0 was still too big on me. If there was a size smaller, I would've given it 5 stars. Good work skirt despite size.

I loved the style and the pattern, but the material was almost like a canvas tote bag. Also it was too tight around the "belly" and butt (I'm pretty slim, but did have five kids!) and yet big in the waist. I normally wear a zero, but sized up to 2 b/c of RTR recommendation, and that made it wearable. Bottom line, it looked good but didn't really feel good.

Loved it the minute I put it on. I am usually a 6 but sized up for a little more comfort. It was perfect. This is an all year round skirt and will go with anything. Boots in the winter, sandals in the summer. First item i have actually loved so much to buy it.

Beautiful skirt but unfortunately I should have sized down! If you have wide hips but a narrow waist, I recommend going down just one size. Admittedly, I could have worn it lower but then the length was odd. Long torso problems!

I wore this skirt with three different sweaters. What I loved most about it is that you could probably wear during all four seasons. Got many compliments. I will rent again!

Fit is great although a little loose on me

I'm always worried about pencil shape skirts because of my butt/thighs, but I sized up from my normal size 6 to an 8 and it fit well. Only issues with it was that it rode up a little if I walked for a long time, and I'd often have to make sure that it didnt shift around (so that the back slit comes to the front). It is lined, well made, and I liked the extra interior button detail at the zipper area. Pattern is easy to mix and match with. Would rent again!
