Loved this dress. Yellow isn't for everyone, but if you like that color, go for it. Just note it runs REALLY large, I usually am an 8, wore a 6, prob could have worn the 4. Love the material, it's thick and not stretchy. Wore to a summer wedding.

I liked this dress so much, that I ended up buying it. The only problem is I couldn't find it in yellow, so I had to get it in pink. The size 4 was too big, so I ended up buying the size 2 and it fits really well.

Loved this dress. I'm kind of broad-shouldered, so it was very snug up top but it worked and I got tons of compliments on it. It was just the right length for a wedding and the pockets were a fun detail.

I absolutely loved this dress! It stood out at the wedding without looking like I was trying too hard. I received a ton of compliments on it throughout the night and just wish i could afford to purchase it on my own! I would definitely go down a size, I normally wear a 4 and it swallowed me but the 2 fit perfectly.

I would buy this dress in a heart beat, it does run big I am 5'9, 135 lbs, 34/26/37. I ordered the 4 and the 6 and I wore the 4 with plenty of room to spare. It made my waist and rib cage look very tiny, tons of compliments on the color, it was like a ray of sunshine. Fashion tape would have helped hold the straps in the right place, but I did not get my fit kit with my order.

Loved, loved, loved this dress. It was a beautiful dress that was very flattering. The only issue was being on the shorter side the dress was longer than expected. It was still gorgeous though. I received compliments all night long. It was very accommodating with my larger bust too. Highly reccomend

This dress definitely runs big, so go down at least one size. I usually wear an 8, but wore a size 6 and I still had to wear a padded bra since it was loose in the bust. That being said, it's a pretty color and interesting design, so I would recommend renting it.

Everyone asked where I got my dress and I was happy to tell them Rent the Runway! It was a great way for me to have fun (color and one shoulder) with a dress for my friend's wedding without making the commitment to buy it. As for fit, it does run large. I'm typically and 8/10 and could have gone down to a size 4. The 6 worked but was a bit loose in the bust (of course I'm a size 36A so if you're bustier, you might stick with one size smaller). Dress was lightweight for a summer wedding and the pockets DIDN'T bulge or give added bulk around the middle (very surprising).

I ended up liking this dress, but when I first tried it on, I wasn't so sure. The fabric is quite thick...almost like upholstry and the color is darker than it appears in the picture (not quite so lemon-y colored). My biggest problem, thought, was with the mid-section. I have a pretty straight body type and this dress made me look thicker in the middle. However, once I put on a wide belt I really liked the way it looked. Also, I did not fill out the chest area, so I had to buy an extra padded bra to make it work.

This was a great dress for dancing all night in! It was not only comfortable fit-wise, the fabric is nice and light. Also, as a taller person, I usually have a hard time finding short dresses that don't end up at my mid-thigh. This one hit right above my knee, and was very flattering. The pockets were a great plus, and blended really well into the front of the dress. Highly recommended for summer wedding season!

I just had a baby six months ago, and was hesitant that the 6 (my normal size) would fit me, but it actually fit and was very flattering. First time I felt skinny since discovering I was pregnant!

I wore this to my cousin's baby shower and I loved it from the minute I put it on! So cute! Loved the neckline, loved the detail of the material, loved the color. It was a bit colder that day then it was supposed to be, so I ended up wearing black leggings with the dress, and it still looked awesome! Very comfortable and I'm glad I ordered a size down. If I had ordered my usual size, it would have looked sloppy.

Beautiful dress! I loved it! I usually wear a size 10 or 12 (leaning towards 12), but I wore this in an 8. I could have easily worn a size 6 in this as well. I loved that it went down just below my knees for a chilly late summer night wedding. The pockets were great too!

I wore this dress to a wedding in Napa and it was perfect -- everyone else was also in beautiful, bright, solid-colored dresses (but I was the only in yellow!). It really popped... but the color was not quite true to how it appears on the site. I was expecting more of a pastel yellow, but in person, this was more like a bright imperial yellow. Not the best shade for my skin tone but it worked ok.

LOVE this dress. The fabric is dressier in person-- not a cotton like as this picture. Wore it with gold earrings and nude pumps. I didn't feel like the yellow was too bright yet had enough shine. Perfect for a summer wedding. I def. wore the smaller of the two sizes I'm usually between and it fit nicely.

I LOVED this dress!!! This is definitely a dress for girls with a large bust! I normally wear a 4/6 in jeans, but my chest usually bumps me up to an 8 in dresses, and I have to belt them. I'm a 34DD, and the top fit me well, and there was just enough room in the 6, and the waist was even a bit loose, but no problem. If you don't have a large chest, order smaller for sure! Also, I loved the material and design. The picture makes the material seem thicker, but it is thin, pretty, and flowy. This was my first rental, and it was great!

Great dress, I received lots of compliments when wearing it to a summer wedding. The yellow is quite bright, but pretty. The only drawback was that the top half was very loose (kept gaping open and would not lie flat against skin) - I probably needed the smaller size (and I'm not small chested). I normally wear a size 8, but could have used a size 6 in this dress. It hit right at my knees.

Overall the dress looked great. I got an 8 and 10 because I figured its easier to make a big dress smaller. I probably could have fit into a size 6. The straps were long so pins were needed to keep the dress where I wanted it. It is also not as bright of a yellow as shown in the picture.

As some other reviewers have mentioned, the color of this dress is a bit more of a mustard yellow with an interesting texture, but still very pretty. I have a large bust (34DD) and a smaller waist and this dress just didn't lay right on my body. I wish it would have because I really liked the dress.

I chose this dress for the strap detail in the front. I thought it gave visual interest. The general fit of the dress was large. I usually wear a 4 in most styles. After reading other reviews I ordered the 2 as my back up size. The 4 was large. It was noticeably large in the chest area because that is the area on this style that is intended to be more fitted. The 2 fit more snugly but the crossing strap was uncomfortable in that size. I ended up wearing my usual size by wearing my daughter's PADDED strapless bra to fill out the top. The problem was solved. The dress is very pretty. It is a mustard yellow as a previous reviewer stated. The length of the dress hit me about mid knee. The fabric was had a woven pattern giving it an airy feel. It is a very nice dress. But get prepared with a padded strapless bra, just in case.

The best part of this dress is the unique neckline. If I owned this dress (I am thinking of actually purchasing it) I would have to have even the size 0 altered because it was still too big in the bust area and kept falling down.

Im a rather busty gal (34DDD/E) and this still had a little wiggle room in the bust area. I probably should have sized down. The top cuts a little lower than I expected so I'll have to find a strapless bra that sits pretty low.... Tricky for busty women. The material is nice, the cut is flattering, and the pockets are awesome.

Fantastic dress for an outdoor summer work party. The cut was conservative but still fun and playful. The color was a little more mustard than the photo but looked great. I received many compliments all night. Pockets were deep and very functional, except for the left pocket on the size 2 that was torn, which is why I'm rating the dress at a 4 instead of a 5. Size 4 was way too big but the 2 fit just right. The fabric was very comfortable even in the heat. Loved this dress.

As others have noted, the color is definitely more of a "spicy mustard"... and the paisley-esque pattern is much more obvious in person than it appears in the picture. That said, the dress was pretty adorable! I ordered sizes 2 and 4. I'm usually a 4 or 6 depending on how form fitting the bottom half is... My top half is never the problem when fitting a size 4, so I anticipated wearing the 2 because of the cut of the dress and the reviews about having to size down. The 2 fit better everywhere except for the length of the straps- which made the dress come up too high into the armpit. I do have a longer torso and sometimes my "shoulder-to-boob" length doesn't fit the cut of a dress! The 4 was looser and longer- less flattering but still cute- and I ended up wearing it for the sake of comfort. Lots of compliments and pockets are always fun!

I wore this dress to a wedding and it was great. A little hard to zip up with a strapless bra, but I am a 34D and that is expected. My only qualm is that the straps were too long, i wish they could have been altered. I got so many compliments on my dress, that it totally makes up for the little things. I definitely recommend this dress.

I wore this for my birthday yesterday after a change in plans nixed wearing the short blue sequin number that I also rented. The style of the dress is so cute and works on those of us in our 40s! Yellow can be a challenging color for blondes - -if I had dark hair, this lemon/mustard yellow would've been super - I got used to the color, worked the accessories to make it all work, resulting in lots of compliments! More Nanette Lepore dresses please - -her designs are gorgeous!

The dress runs a little large but overall fit well with a nice material.

Cute but it was too small so I did not get to wear it.
