This dress fit me like a glove. I bought an adhesive bra based on other reviews...wasn't for me! I wore a C cup strapless bra instead and just tucked the back of the bra below the back of the dress so it wasn't visible. Super easy! Depending on your body, you may not need a bra at all! I felt elegant and sexy at the same time. My friend said I added some sassiness to elegancy. This dress is perfect for a wedding -- I specifically wore it to an evening outdoor/indoor wedding in Texas in October (it was hot outside). The dress is such a focal point, you don't need much jewelry or accessories. I wore black Michael Kors heals that worked well with the black on the back. This dress is tied as my other all time fave by Hutch. My husband is currently convincing me to buy this Nanette dress. I just might, and will totally rent it again! It was his favorite, ever, and a crowd pleaser without stealing the spotlight from the bride.

Very comfortable dress, one of my favorite rentals to date! Received compliments all night. I have an hourglass figure and was worried it would be to form fitting around my butt, but it was very flattering.

I ordered the 6 and 8 and the 6 fit perfectly. It's true, there's no stretch to the fabric but that ended up being ok with the 6. The color is much richer than the photos show--it's not really a pastel blue but nonetheless pretty. I wore a nu-bra with this dress and had some slight difficulties with it peeking out in the front--not the dress' fault but rather how the bra was positioned. This is a dress that can be dressed up or down-I wore it to a wedding at the Boston Public Library and fit in great. Loved it and got loads of compliments! The back is stunning as well.

I almost didn't get this one because it looks SO frumpy on the model. So glad I did though, because this dress is freaking sexy. I was at a charity event and got complimented by several strangers. Wish I could keep this dress forever. I'm thinking about buying it online, but glad I got to try it first.

I was worried from the model's picture that this wouldn't work for me because I am much curvier than the model. Size 6 fit my torso and leg area better, but the size 8 fit my bust better, so I went with the size 8. This is pretty consistent with my regular sizing. I'm a 34 B, but breastfeeding - the dress seemed to accommodate my bust as it got gradually engorged during the night, so I think a C might work for this as well? I did not need a bra - there's some good boning in the bust area. One thing that may not be clear about the dress is that you will show some cleavage - it will just be covered by the lace. I didn't think it was too much, but someone looking for something a bit more conservative might. The dress was very comfortable - I was able to sit and dance without trouble. I think in order to make the bottom of the dress fit best, the wearer will need to be a bit on the curvy side - the dress on the model looks a bit like a shift, but there is room for curves that may appear baggy on someone who can pull off a shift dress (I can't). The color is a bit more rich than it shows up on the model - it seems kind of pastel on the model, but it's a pretty rich cornflower blue - I think my pictures show that a bit better.

We have ten weddings this year, so as you can imagine I'm in constant need of dresses. I rented this with the lulu frost earrings as a part of my unlimited membership (which I love). The best part of the dress is the back, which isn't captured here. It just adds that sporty feel to an otherwise romantic dress. Highly recommend to anyone! (Note I didn't wear a bra)

This is easily one of my favorite rentals from RTR! The picture does not do justice to how beautiful this dress is in person! I received endless compliments all night long and my boyfriend told me this was his favorite dress that I have rented! Normally I wear a 4 but ordered the 6 as a backup. RTR couldn't send me the 4 but that worked out fine because the 6 fit perfectly. You can't wear a bra with this dress because of the back but depending on your cup size there is built in support. I ended up wear a backless bra and it worked great! This is the perfect dress to wear to a less formal spring wedding. I promise you will not be disappointed!

Usually wear a 0. But got a 2 as my backup size. The 2 was way too big. The 0 fit but was super snug in the chest... I'm a 32D. The dress was perfect otherwise. The color is awesome and the back makes the dress really special. The fiancé loved the dress on me... And Since it came brand new with tags on he even offered to buy it.

A little hard to get into. You really have to squeeze your head through the straps so do your hair AFTER you put on the dress. I have a small bust so I didn't even wear a bra since there was a good lining and the back is open enough it would have shown bra straps. When I tried it on in the store, the lace covered my knees, but the one I got for the day of was a little shorter. I'm used to that though because I am tall. Great dress! Got lots of compliments.

I rented this dress with blind trust as there were no reviews on it at the time. I rented a 4 and a 2 and was planning on the 2 but ultimately went with the 4 because the dress has absolutely no give. It was big around my hips and waist but I was very comfortable. The black straps in the back give the impression that the dress does some pulling, as if they're elastic..but that is not the case. It was definitely a stand out and the picture does no justice for the color. I am usually a black or neutral girl so this was very out of the ordinary for me. Highly recommend it!

Great quality dress with a beautiful back. I would say that it might run a little large. I have a large bust so it fit me well in that area, however, the bottom was very roomie- not as fitted as I prefer. Also, the lining for the bust was a bit low so it showed a lot more cleavage than I had wanted. Overall, a very pretty dress though.

Fit: it was very comfortable but felt big on top. The model shows the dress hitting her just below the knee but it hit me just above which was fine. I'm 5"3 so it worked out fine. You can't wear a bra with this dress because of the back Pros: the color is really beautiful. I received a lot of complements on the color but not the dress itself. Very comfortable. Sexy back. Cons: fit me big on top. Because of the lace, things can catch onto very easily (there was a stitch popped when I got it). Didn't look it, but the lace wasn't the greatest material.

I love this dress in theory but on myself is another story. Typically I am a six and I got the six and the eight to be safe. The six fit, but it would pucker and ride up when I would move. I tried the right which solved those problems but it was a little to big and made me look fatter than I am. The back is super sexy definitely a redeeming quality, though I don't know who would rather look better from the back than the front. The under lining also isn't attached anyway to the over layer so the under layer will ride up and it just looks awkward. Love the look on the model but it didn't look that way on myself

Loved this dress. It has some stretch and is really comfortable. The black straps give it some interest. I did not wear a bra, but considered wearing a NuBra for a little extra support (it was just too hot for that though!). Got lots of compliments! Would recommend!

I loved this dress. I felt so pretty wearing it, it fit perfectly and the back was so cool! I am really sad to be sending this back tomorrow!! Highly recommend. The zipper doesn't have a clip at the top and it was tricky to put on but besides that I absolutely loved it

I was worried because the other reviews said it runs large. I am a pretty solid 2 but they didn't have 0 available in my backup size. But it worked out fine because the 2 fit perfectly! I am also fairly small chested so no bra was needed. Great dress!

I *loved* this dress. Pictures can't do the color justice. Definitely plan on a backless or no bra because even my low back bra wasn't low enough. I felt like the sizing was pretty true. I ordered the 2 & the 4 ended up wearing the 2 which fit perfectly.

Pretty periwinkle lace and a sexy strappy black back make for a perfect wedding dress! Fit true to size. You can definitely wear a sticky bra with this, but I didn't. There is boning in the bust, but it probably wouldn't be good for a smaller cup size

Pros: It was a great fit, style and color for my event. I would not describe it as having a lot of stretch, but I also didn't feel constricted in it or like I couldn't sit down. The dress has boning in the top and is not meant to be worn with a traditional bra. I am larger in the bust and I was comfortable with the support it gave, and the lace front covered the cleavage well. I received a TON of compliments on this dress and I felt really beautiful and comfortable in it.

I ordered a size 4 and 8, as the 6 was unavailable for my time period. The 6 probably would've been perfect, but the 4 fit well for the event. Received tons of compliments, found the dress perfect for a hot summer wedding. Loved that the length was longer, but the open back allowed for a fun twist on the conservative front. Color was bright and festive. Dress was a bit complicated to put on, but easy to figure out how to put it on without messing up hair or makeup.

I rented this for a summer wedding in Rhode Island. My original size wasn't available, so I was only sent the backup. However, it ended up fitting and I wore it to the welcome drinks. I really liked this dress! I was definitely the only one wearing this color which made it stand out. Plus, I love lace overlay and the quality is great. Definitely recommend renting this dress!

I absolutely loved this dress! I ended up wearing the larger size (the 12 just fit better over my board shoulders) and went with no bra (open back didn't allow for a strapless bra). Was worried about the length of the dress (I am 6'0" tall and dresses are sometimes too short), but the dress hit nicely above my knees. Definitely not too short! Received lots of compliments all night, especially about the back. Would highly recommend!

I usually wear a size 4, so I ordered a 4 and a 2, not knowing which would be more comfortable. I'm glad I did because the 2 was super tight but the 4 fit perfectly. I loved everything about this dress - the lace, the color, and especially the back. The back adds a little extra something to an otherwise beautiful dress. The dress can be dressed up or down but is perfect for dancing at a wedding!

The dress was perfect for occasion. It was a Charleston Summer wedding so the open with black straps in back were perfect. It fit my body like a glove and I have athletic body type with wide hips and a big butt which usually get in the way of form fitting dresses but that this dress stretched out around them. It was very comfortable too. Didn't even feel like I was wearing a dress.

Wore this for my engagement party. I absolutely loved it and got so many compliments. It fit perfectly except the boob area. I'm a 34C and it was big in the bust. You can't wear a bra with it because of the open back. The sticky bra thing would have been a great add on. Anyone with even smaller boobs may also have an issue there. Dress would do well for a dressy occasion, my occasion was casual but I dressed up and didn't feel crazy over dressed. Would definitely rent again for a dressy or casual event.

I'm so happy I read the other reviews and decided to get this dress! It looked so long and dull in color on the model, but looked great in so many of the pictures in the reviews! It was beautiful in person and fit perfectly. This is definitely one of my favorite dresses I have rented. The only comment I would make is to make sure you have someone to help you when getting ready because the straps make it difficult to get on by yourself!

Great dress for a wedding! It's really hard to learn how to get into (and out of) but overall amazing look once you do. I wore the 6 and that's the size I usually go with. It's a little shorter in real life than on the model, but that's what I was hoping for. Also, the top is supportive enough that a bra isn't totally necessary (I'm a 34B) and spanx do work under it even though the back is low. Definitely great for a hot weather wedding, it was very light!

Beautiful color--it was much brighter in person than online. The fit was true to size. Usually I wear a 0 or 2, and they were out of the 0, but the 2 was great! I wore it to an outdoor wedding in Miami and was completely comfortable. I paired it with black strappy heels, a simple bracelet, pearl earrings, & pink lipstick; I tried wearing a necklace w/ it, but the necklace didn't look right with the high neckline. (This dress would also be very pretty with statement earrings.) I will def. rent this one again!

I don't typically wear this shade of blue, so I really just rented this dress because I thought the black straps in the back looked really sexy. I ended up being so impressed with it! The dress fit me like a glove and I got so many compliments all night. It is a bit low cut so I wore a sticky bra and it did show a bit, but the lace on top made it where it wasn't noticeable at all (and my boobs looked fantastic). This was one of my favorite rentals ever from RTR (and I've had many).
