The dress fit perfectly. I had lots of comments. The feathers did shed everywhere.

This dress was amazing! The stretchy fabric made it incredibly comfortable. I just loved the black feathers at the bottom it made the dress that much more fabulous. I rented this for a Navy Ball which had a 1920s theme... It was perfect.

This dress was perfect for the Roaring 20's party I attended. The soft material at the top was comfortable and the feathers were so fun! It runs big, as suggested by others, but I found it to be flattering. Also, the feathers did shed a bit, but whatever. The length was just longer than the picture, but hit me fine (I'm 5'7), with 3" heels. Tons of compliments. Picture does not do it justice!

I rented this dress for a vacation to New Orleans. I was (literally) stopped in the streets, bathrooms, bars, etc. by strangers so that they could compliment this dress. The fit was fantastic and the feather skirt is stunning. My only complaint is that the skirt molts quite a bit so be prepared to leave a trail of ostrich feathers everywhere you go. Other than that, you won't be disappointed with this dress!

Perfect for the gala theme

The dress was a comfortable fit and I got so many compliments on how I fit so well with the theme. Some feathers did fall off and were spotted around the party, but I expected that to happen. Overall a great dress!

Reviews said this ran big but I felt it was true to size. If you have hips definitely order your true size or else the dress won't fit right (there is no zipper so it just goes overhead). The material is woven so my only complaint is that despite the comfortable fit I still needed shapewear to not show every ripple. This dress has a lot of potential depending on how you accessorize it!

Very comfortable form-fitting dress. I'm shorter so the dress was a little longer on me than in the picture. That is what I wanted though. The feathers shed pretty bad...I was leaving a trail all night. I really liked this dress and got a TON of compliments!

It was incredibly comfortable and true to size. Definitely wasn't the most flattering in the stomach area, but it still looked cute. Only problem was it looked like I had murdered a bird because the feathers kept falling off everywhere. Either way, I would definitely recommend this dress!

The dress was true to size. If you have curves, round up versus down for your back up size. It was a great dress for a #gatsby party.

I normally wear a 6, but being newly pregnant I'm likely more a size 8 or 10 right now. This dress fit well for that size, but I think if I were my usual size this would have been too big/loose. Also it didn't have much structure, so it looked a bit lumpy. But I added a skinny black belt and that made a huge difference.

I wore this dress to a winter wedding and received plenty of compliments! The top is very soft, almost like a sweater. I was a little fooled by the length. Thought it would be a bit of a "leg" dress but it but just above my knees, which was fine. It definitely runs large. I wore the extra small and had some room to breathe. I lost a few feathers here and there but it didn't she's too badly. It is very comfortable. Loved the feathers!

This dress is very flattering. It's comfortable with stretchy sweater-like material. Unlike some other dresses, the sparkles aren't scratchy at all. Overall the dress fit as expected, although it was very long. I liked that though, much more true to a 20s look. You can wear regular under garments, no problem. There's no zipper, so it needs to go over your hair so plan ahead.

This is my 2nd rental and both have been perfect!!! This is the way to go when you have a special occasion!!! Rented this dress for a 20's themed fundraiser!!! Get many comments on how nice I looked. After reading the review I do need to agree that dress runs big. I wear a 2 in dress and the XS and it was still I bit lose.

The dress definitely runs big. I ordered the Medium since that's my normal size and Small as a back up based on reviews and ended up wearing the Small. The Small was a big snug around the hips but it was fine. The medium was really baggy and felt more like a sweater dress. Keep in mind that you would need to be pretty tall for the dress to be short like it's shown in the picture. I'm 5'7'' and it hit me right at the knees.

I LOVED the dress. It was perfect for my Gatsby Themed work party. I got a small and it fit okay but it was a little baggy. A tighter fit would have made this dress a 10. This is my first time renting and I can't wait to do it more!!

This dress was absolutely perfect for a 1920's party. The dress is curve hugging and super flattering. The bottom feathers are super fun! Only downside is the feathers would shed off the dress, so I'd leave a trail of feathers.

Super stretchy material made the dress incredibly comfortable. I was going to wear the XS but it was a little tight around the thighs because of the band that holds the feathers in place, so I opted for small even though it was bigger on the shoulders. This dress was perfect for the Gatsby event and I highly recommend it. The feathers added the perfect touch. I usually wear 4 or 6, so I would go with your size and one smaller.

I rented this dress for a Great Gatsby themed bridal shower. I ordered a small and medium, but should have ordered an XS. I am not sure if it is because I am losing weight, or if the dress runs big...it is a bit longer than on the model, but still a great dress for a party!

I wore this dress for NYC's Jazz Age Lawn Party. It was hot as heck outside and this dress is made of something like sweater fabric, so perhaps not ideal for summer parties, but I survived. And the fact that I looked on point made it worth it! A stranger even asked to take my picture! I'm quite curvy, busty, and short and usually have a hard time with fit, but this dress really worked. It also makes your butt look great! This was my first Rent the Runway experience and I'll definitely do it again.

The dress itself is a soft sweatery material. Feathers tend to trap heat and molt but still a lovely look for a gatsby party. I thought it would cling unflatteringly to my belly but it looked nice on. The XS definitively felt a little loose and was longer than expected. Went down to my knees and I'm 5'6 but it still looked nice.

Fit perfect! I had read that it ran big so I ordered a size down. I'm glad I did!

The dress was perfect. I am almost 5'5 and 125 pounds. I have a bit of a belly after having kids and the dress did highlight that a bit. The size small may have been better for the tummy issue, but the xs fit in the chest and booty much better. I bet a nice corset or spanx would do the trick. A normal bra can be worn underneath which is a plus. The feathers did fall off from time to time, but that comes with the territory. I felt beautiful and had a great time at the party! Thanks RTR for another beautiful dress.

Wore this for a speakeasy party. The xs was not available so I got the small and it worked great. I did wear a bandeau bra bc the arm holes were a little large. Overall a great fit and very comfortable. It did shed feathers as mentioned by others.

I rented this for a night out at a 20s style night club. My favorite part about this dress was how stretchy and comfortable it was. The sparkle was great. The feathers were fun. The only downside was there were feathers all over the hotel room at the end of the night. I would still rent it again!

I wore this dress for a Gatsby themed New Year's Eve party & it was perfect! I loved the feathers on the skirt & the material made the dress VERY comfortable for a long event. The length hit perfectly above the knee.

I truthfully wanted the other dress I had picked out - this was an additional selection using my birthday promotion. I fell in love with the stretch and ease of it. Others mentioned feathers would be everywhere - they were right!!! I am a hippier girl, and it was a little tight where the bottom hem was due to the feathers, but I was still comfortable and able to get my groove on at our 1920's themed party. I received so many compliments, and felt beautiful :)

This dress was absolutely perfect for my Gatsby bachelorette party. It was super flattering and fun. The feathers fall off like crazy and it does run a bit large but I couldn't have been happier with it.

Perfect fit! Dress went well with the #Gatsby theme for our #gala. The only con is that the feathers shed easily. I literally left a trail of feathers on the ground. Needless to say, there were still enough plumes on the dress. Dress was true to size and gorgeous!

Because this dress arrived too late for my event, I only tried it on to get an idea of fit, so this review doesn't cover a whole evening's experience. First off, I expected the top to be itchy because of the silver thread, but it was really soft and the feathers were gorgeous. However, I believe I would have worn the medium back up size based on how the large fit. It gapped at the underarms showing my bra, and the body fit was looser and straighter than I prefer. That being said, I'm sure if I had gone to the party in the large the only person who would have noticed the bagginess was me because it still looked stunning on! I would definitely find an excuse to order this one again and try it out for the night!
