As soon as I pulled this dress out from the RTR bag I was in love. The color is just gorgeous. I rented it to wear to Thanksgiving festivities, and not only did I feel phenomenal, but it was super comfy and allowed me to eat a normal Thanksgiving Day meal without feeling like the dress was squeezing me in. The belt created a very pretty natural waist line. Although the dress appears to be a lacy material, it was super-soft and comfortable.

Had a baby a month ago and so ordered a size 0 and 2 ( I usually wear a aize 0). A big snow storm hit and the dresses were stuck in Kentucky the day before the event! So RTR called me and said they'd ship me whatever dress in stock I wanted. They happened to have the same dress but only in a size 0 but they told me it would get here before the wedding reception. I received it next day, and it fit great! I also ordered the necklace but decided not to wear it. Loved the dress, the fit, very comfortable!

This dress is AMAZING! Nanette Lepore is one of my favorite designers. Elegant, comfortable, and I wish I could keep it! I wore it to the American Giving Awards, presented by Chase. The non-profit I founded, She's the First, was one of the honorees. The dress happened to match the Chase Community Giving logo colors -- black and blue -- so I felt beautifully on brand. My first-time Rent the Runway experience was flawless; I hope you get this dress and create your own once-in-a-lifetime memories!

This was my first experience with Rent the Runway, and I will 100% be renting again! I needed a dress for a formal business event, and this dress fit the bill -- and more! I actually first spotted it on Piperlime for close to $500, and I was surprised to see something so current on Rent the Runway for a fraction of the retail price. I was even more surprised when I received the dress and it still had the original tags on it - meaning I was the first to rent it! I got a number of compliments, and I highly recommend this dress for a conservative occasion. I would also add that I rented the Kate Spade necklace shown with this dress but decided not to wear it because I thought it made the dress too casual.

Wore this to a work function. It was bluer than I expected, but in retrospect it matched the picture relatively well, so not sure what I was expecting :) Got lots of compliments, though, so all in all it worked well.

Love the bright blue with the black. Fit was true to size. Only drawback was I wasn't the only one in a lace dress,

Very comfortable fit. I'm 5" so the skirt hit my knee (not mid thigh like the model) which was just fine for me.

I got this dress for a friend's bridal shower and it was perfect. I dressed it up with a black belt, opaque tights, and high boots since it was late December. Many compliments were received by friends and family members. It was perfect to move around in and fufill by bridesmaid's duties on that day. After the shower, I got rid of the tights and boots and replaced them for high heels just to see what it would look like. If I was going to a more formal event, this dress would have worked well also. I would recommend this dress and would rent it again.

Wore this to a winter evening wedding. Loved the color and fit. A very comfortable dress to wear. No complaints from me and lots of compliments from others.

The dress fit perfectly for the size 8. Usually go between the 6 and 8. Fit right around my hips which is always my concern area.

This dress looks great with or without tights, which is nice if you are in between seasons. It fits true to size and the cut is very flattering. Like all of her dresses, it makes a statement while still looking classy.

This dress is super flattering! I usually wear a size 4 and it fit perfectly. I am 5'9" and was worried about it being too short, but it was a cute short. I also wore it with black tights. The belt belt loops hit above my natural waste so I didn't use them and just tucked the loops under the belt.

I rented this for an extremely important business meeting (I'm in a creative field, so this style was appropriate) and the first thing I was told was how great my dress looked. The belt cinched the waist to be flattering and the color is gorgeous. Not sure if it was the dress or my business pitch, but I was extraordinarily confident that day!

Very elegant and unique, and the cobalt color (the picture makes it seem more purple than it is in actuality) is right on trend.

Great dress for fuller hips, as it is more of an a-line. The color is a bit more blue than purple, but it fit beautifully.

The color in person is wonderful! The cut of the dress is really flattering too. I was able to wear a smaller size than usual due to the cut but if you are bustier I would size up! Great style!

Fit was pretty good. It was slightly large around the wait area even thought it came with a belt. The belt was basically the same material as the dress so I wore a different black belt to add a little more to it. The dress was slightly short for me. I prefer a bit longer.

I rented this for a more formal event, but it was not very dressy. did my best to dress it up with jewelry and heels, but it had more of a casual look. fit was true to size. flattering, no need for spanx :)

I rented this dress for my birthday get together with friends! I loved the dress and the way it felt! Everyone loved the dress as well! I received so many compliments! I rented a size 2 and 4 and tried on the size 2 first. It fit beautifully, so I didn't even bother to try on the size 4! The dress was comfortable around the arms, bust and waist. The length of the dress hit maybe about 1-2 inches above my knees. The dress was perfect too for a beautiful day out as well!! Thank you RTR for making my birthday beautiful and fun!!

This dress is definitely more fitted across the top than the hips, so keep that in mind when ordering a size and a backup size. The 10 fit, but was just too tight across the shoulders to be comfortable, and the rest of the dress did not fit that differently between the 10 and 12. Overall the dress is very comfortable and has some give to it, especially for being lace. It's nicely lined, good length, hit about 3" above my knee and I am 5'6". It's very forgiving and flattering. I would wear this dress again, but of course I will want to try others!!

This dress fit really well but it has a dropped waist piping. It is still really cute, just different.

The dress is very nice, a little too conservative for the cocktail party i rented it for. I choose this one because it was for a work related event but in the end i needed something a little more daring. The dress fit nicely but the bust was slightly tight on me (I am a 34 C) I could have worn it but decided to just wear something of my own instead for this event.

I wish I had brought a black belt to wear with this; I'm sure it would have looked a lot nicer with one. But it's a pretty dress anyways and I liked the lace. Fits true to size.

This dress fit amazingly. It draws the eye to the tiny waist and the bold color and lace are a to die for combo. I wore this for my wedding shower and received complement after complement. The dress does not come with a belt, which is why the 4 stars instead of 5, so you need to have your skinny black belt ready.

I received a lot of compliments from my co-workers. My boss wanted to literally wanted to steal the dress from me!

The dress fit perfectly. The color was amazing. Most of the guests wore straight black so I was glad I selected a blend with color, made me stand out and added glow to the wedding pictures. Soft lace material. Belt was a cute addition to break up the dress sections. Received many compliments on the dress too, including one from my husband!

Runs true to size, it is a great dress but not fancy or fabulous enough for a special occassion. I wore it to a client cocktail event and it did the job. I would purchase the dress and keep it as a good stand by dress.

This dress ran LARGE. I tried to make up for it by tightening the belt but unfortunately, it still looked like a glorified t-shirt.

This was a little baggy for my taste, I got a six and would have gone for a four to have it even form fitting, not tight. The color is really bright and lovely, and the lace is not too old fashioned. It was nice but I felt a little like a grandma at a wedding with old college friends when I wanted to be a little more contemporary and sexy. It wasn't a great fit for a state of mind at the time. I would have loved this at a work event. it also ran a little long but I'm sure the 4 would have done the trick. It really does need the belt, or a belt, and accessories. Get a large necklace!

Fit very comfortably and was easy to wear. Looked perfectly nice, but was just a little too cute for an evening cocktail party. Would have been great for a daytime or early evening wedding.

I wore the size 8 of this dress to my office Christmas party. Normally I would wear a size 6 or an 8 - the size 6 fit perfect until the zipper hit the bust line then it was TIGHT. I ended up wearing the size 8 and had to keep adjusting it during the evening as it would ride up as even the size 8 bustline was a little snug. I am a 36C which I didn't think was that busty! I probably would not wear this dress again due to the need to keep adjusting it most of the evening.
