Loved the way this dress felt and fit! I usually have a hard time with dresses due to my broad chest and shoulders and smaller waist. The top fit perfectly but did reveal more cleavage than I would have liked. Length hit right at the knee (I am 5'5) and the bottom of the dress was slim but I had plenty of room to dance and move. The dress was a little loose in the waist but the layering on the front made it flattering and not frumpy. Color was perfect and I received a ton of compliments

This dress fit well and was comfortable. I needed to use a little bit of fashion tape (which RTR provided) to hold the deep V in place, but other than that it didn't need any adjusting. I would definitely recommend this dress.

I rented this to wear as a maid of honor. The fabric is thick and stayed smooth and crisp all day. The dress looks expensive and is a really vibrant color- slightly more purple than it appears online. I could have fit into the 0, but opted for the 2 because it was slightly more comfortable in the lower half. The bust was perfect- not too revealing but not too matronly either. Success!

The fit is tight in the hips, it is lined so it still looks good, I sized up one size. The top may be a little loose if you are not on the fuller cup size, I wear a 34dd and it fit well. It is really easy to wear and looks like a high quality dress. I love the color!

It does run a little large. I wore the 6 because I have a slightly larger than average posterior area :) That said, it wasn't so large that it was unwearable. Nothing a little fashion tape couldn't handle. So, for my size six ladies out there that don't have this issue, you can probably fit into the 4.

wore this to a wedding in new york city. it fit me incredibly well. it was a bit tight in the butt, but overall was a great dress. the vneck top was very flattering and wedding appropriate but also sexy since it allows some clevage to show. and it looked fantastic in pics!

If you have even the slightest bit of hips, get a size up, that's the only snug part of the dress.

We rented these all for my sister's wedding as she wanted her bridesmaids to have purple dresses. They looked great on everyone, even thought we all had different body types. The empire waist of the dress was very flattering. Also, the wedding took place during a very humid August night in Maryland, so the inner lining of the dress was sticking to me like no one's business. BUT you have no idea when looking at the pictures, as the outer lining stayed put and didn't give anything away. Highly recommended!

The color is not oridinary, so you don't look like all the other LBD wearers. Runs true to size and is good for curves. I would suggest a little tape to keep the front of the dress exposing too much cleavage.

A week before my cousin's wedding I went on RTR and settled on this dress, partly for the price for bragging rights since my family is exceedingly thrifty. I added the Stylist Surprise/ Mystery Bling Option since I suck at accessorizing. I laid out two wraps, two shoe options (silver and black) and picked up a silver clutch. My dresses arrived and I saw that other reviewers' comments about the color were not exaggerations, it is definitely a deep magenta and not as purple as it appears in the photo. I tried on the 10 and thought with spanx it would work, since my personal hourglass is a little fuller on the bottom half. I had taller heels laid out, but when I saw the hem falling perfectly at my knee I went back to the closet and pulled out a pair with about a 2" heel. Getting ready, my mother was zipping me up and suggested I try on the 12 (which I hadn't even taken out of the plastic) and then she convinced me to wear it. It was a teeny bit looser in the back and the butt, but the top front was now much looser and I needed a ton of fashion tape! We ended up in such a rush once I got the second dress on that I didn't really get to see if the 12 was better than the 10. The bridesmaids were wearing a dark purple, so I was actually color-coordinated with the wedding party. I felt like a movie star, and apparently I looked like one too. I got compliments from everybody, including the waitstaff, and I think I told my RTR story a dozen times! I didn't have time to take photos before the wedding, nor did I make it a priority during, so I stood on a box on a stool in my bedroom the next night to take this photo, in which I am wearing the 10. (That's why my cat is at the bottom like "wtf?") Look how perfectly my wrap matches! I had that thing in my closet for years, can't remember where it came from (gift?) and didn't even really like it. All in all, I had a fabulous first experience with RTR and this dress was beautiful and appropriate for my event!

This dress is true to the title! It was flattering for my body type, and I got tons of compliments on it at my brother's wedding! I would recommend it to anyone. It is a little brighter then the picture shows however, but not too in your face. I wore it with nude heels and gold jewelry (summer wedding) and it was also extremely comfortable! Just make sure u have some spanx or no-see underwear.

I choose this dress to wear to a friends evening wedding. The color was very pretty, not a royal purple like it looks like in the picture, but a very pretty jeweled tone purple color. I usually wear between a 10 and a 12 and received both sizes from RTR. I was torn between which size to wear because they were both big up top, but the 10 was a little snug on the hips. I went with the 10 because it was a little less big up top. I used fashion tape up top, but once I was sitting in the car, I realized there was no way I would be able to sit without my bra showing the whole night. I ran in and throw on a black lacy tank underneath which worked fine. The dress still looked great with the black tank and black shoes, but if would've been prettier without.

I chose this dress to wear to my work holiday party while pregnant because it looked like it would run big. I normally wear a 4 when I'm not pregnant. I wasn't sure what to wear at 22 weeks pregnant so I chose an 8 and a 10. The 8 ended up fitting just fine! This dress is actually pretty roomy. The only problem was that it was a little too big in the bust but again, I was totally guessing on the sizes. The color and fabric are beautiful! The zipper did stick a little which was annoying.

Really, really beautiful. I always have good luck with Nanette Lepore dresses -- the color is gorgeous, the dress fits well (has shape but doesn't hug curves too tight), and it's just plain sexy. Like, way sexier than I was expecting. When I first put it on I was actually a bit uncomfortable about how much cleavage it showed... but it ended up being perfect.

The fit was very flattering and I received a lot of compliments on the color . I would rent this dress again or another one from the same designer.

This dress was perfect! I wore it to a November black tie wedding and received rave reviews. It was true to size, I am a 10 (in everyday clothing) and it fit perfectly. I did use fashion tape on top just for my own comfort. I am an A cup and it still worked although I think it would look better on a fuller figure. This dress is classy, comfortable and georgous. The color is exactly what you see online. I would wear this again in a minute...I almost wish I could buy it!

This dress is much lighter than it appears in the picture. It is more of a magenta than a purple, but the actual color is very pretty, bright and fun. I wore this dress to a spring wedding and got a ton of compliments. I usually wear a 6 but ended up wearing the 4 in this style.

I rented this for a black-tie work event and was nervous because I procrastinated ordering it and by the time I did they were sold out of size 4 for that weekend. So I only ordered a size 2 and hoped that the fit notes were correct in this running a bit large. For the record, 80% of the time I'm a size 4, 20% a size 2. The 2 fit perfectly, but I would advise others that the dress runs large on top and bit closer to normal on the bottom. The purple is a bit more on the magenta end of the spectrum and it's definitely a beautiful jeweled tone. I was nervous about there being an awkward pregnant bump beneath where the chest-crossover happens, but there was none of that -- very well designed.

Loved this dress. Glad I rented the 4 & the 6 but went with the 4. We went to a NYC wedding and I felt as I was not under or over dressed. Overall loved this rental.

This dress was pretty, the color was beautiful, it fit the need and was nice. But here is my overall review of the details. It is somewhat of an awkward fit. It is large on top and small on the bottom. Ironically, that was why I rented it as it's in line with my body shape. I rented the 4 and the 6, the 4 fit better on top but was tight at the bottom while the 6 was large on top and looser on the bottom. This is the exact opposite of how most dresses fit me (usually big on bottom and tight on top). I ended up wearing the 6 but felt a little uncomfortable that I was hanging out all night. Even after taping, it still wasn't laying quite right. It was a nice dress and worked for my event and I loved being one of the few people at the wedding wearing color.

Fits snug at the empire waistline, otherwise it's a great fit, and plenty of room for some of the bustier crowd.

Dress fit okay, but was overall too large. I'd size down for your free second size...I normally wear a 6 and ordered a 6 and an 8, and the 6 was a bit too big.

I tried to order a 12 and a 10 but they ran out of the 12. I fit into the 10 but it was too tight on the legs. It is a very pretty dress and would have loved to wear the 12. It is a great length also. It was great because I was able to return it and they gave me a credit for another dress! Great website and great deals.

I wore this to a wedding and received many compliments. I am not "blessed" up top, though, so it was a challenge finding a bra that would not show, and I had to be careful when sitting so as not to create a gap in the v-neck that my chest couldn't fill...but, it was very comfortable and fun to wear, and a lovely color.

Overall this was a beautiful dress and was very comfortable and fun to wear. I wore it to my friend's black tie wedding in NYC and got many compliments. It's a very classy dress and obviously well made. I rented sizes 2 & 4 and really need a size 3 but I went with the larger one because it just felt better. A few notes: (1) in person it is a little lighter/pinker in color. I was a teeny disappointed because I really wanted a royal purple color and it wasn't that. (2) I had to use double-sided fabric tape (got a huge roll at Ricky's) to bring the hem up once because otherwise it hit mid-knee and looked a little funny. With the temporary hem it hit just above my knee. Excellent fix but it took some time to do. (3) The top was a little big so I used the tape to secure it to my bra so the bra didn't show. Because of these fit issues I never would have bought the dress, but that's the beauty of RTR!

This dress ran quite large (lots of gapping in the front) and was very long (I'm 5'9"!). For this dress to work, you'd need lots of your own shape as it's not going to provide you with any. Color is stunning but didn't work for me.

I wore this to a christening. I loved the dress. I didn't seem to have the same issue with the bust as others (no need for tape, no peeking bra, and no requirement for a camisole). The only frustrating issue was that the attached slip had a mind of its own and kept riding up beneath the dress. The dress stayed down - but as the slip wiggled its way up, it would cause the back slit to fall wrong.

The color was fabulous and looked great with my pale skin and dark hair (not an easy task). I am usually a 4 to 6 and read other reviews that said it runs large, so I ordered the 4 and it fit nicely. As I'm not busty I made use of the fabric tape that was sent complimentary (THANK YOU, RTR!). IT was a great color and a decent fit, but the way it comes across the belly made it look like I had a pooch. I do, but let's hide it not accentuate it. This would be great for someone who is either skinny and is looking to create curves or for someone who's just barely pregnant but needs room in the tummy to breathe. Overall it was a great dress and a great night!

This ran true to size, except in the bust area.

Like other reviewers commented, the color is definitely more pinkish than deep purple, but still pretty. The adhesive they send with was necessary because the top was a bit more loose than the bottom half. Not my favorite dress that I have rented overall, but I was comfortable and felt pretty.

I had this dress shipped with another as a backup and I ended up wearing the other dress. I am larger up top and always struggle with fit on top - This dress looked a bit maternity on me. Also, the website makes the dress look purple, but it's more magenta. IRL it's a great color, but if you were hoping for purple, look elsewhere.
