Conservative neckline and looser fit, but a stunning dress.

This dress was perfect for the formal party - and the quality was excellent. The lining made sure it was soft - the cut allowed me to avoid specialty foundation garments - and the sequin fabric was high quality. There was some runching on the back zipper, but the structure of the dress made it less noticeable. I felt both sexy and comfortable in it.

Fit was good. Currently between an 18 and 16 in size, so I went with the larger because it was a little less form fitting. Got lots of compliments! #birthdayparty #throwbackto1966

I love that this dress is unique even though it's black. I love the sparkles and the sleeves! Very comfortable too.

It's short! I got light spray tan, then added tanning lotion, finished off by dusting a light shimmer on my legs.

This dress was perfect for my disco-themed sorority date party! It was super easy to wear for a few hours; the sequins weren't scratchy or itchy, and the sleeves had just the right flare to be groovy but not get in the way! I got compliments on it all night and loved getting to rep RTR!!

This dress was so fun, trendy and age appropriate. I'm 5'9" with long legs and the length was perfect! I attended the Grammys as a spectator and then the after party! Even though there were so many gorgeous dresses I had tons of strangers complimenting my dress all night. I ordered the 16 and 18 because I was worried about the length and tummy area but the 16 was a perfect fit. My problem area is my mid section so I did wear spanx and it was very flattering!

Loved this dress and got so many compliments. I chose the 16 because I wanted it to be a bit flowy and not super tight. I'm in the middle of losing weight after a surgery and felt this one was flattering.

It's not necessarily a tight fit but if you size down, you'll get a fun dress that flatters and doesn't show off anything unflattering. It's not at all like a baggy T-shirt, still has nice form. I usually don't wear sparkles, but the black kept it understated. Not scratchy. Not too short (I'm tall so I worry). And you can wear any bra you'd like! Also great for dancing- the fun sleeves and sparkles made me want to hit the dance floor.

Lovely dress. The sequins were sparkly without being tacky. The cut was forgiving and it fit without being too tight. The flared sleeves weren't my favorite, but they weren't too much of a hassle. Perfect reason for using RTR - use once and send back!

Loves this dress. Fully lined and good material. Sequins fell off a bit but not terrible. No give to the fabric. I wish i could have worn it more than once! Short but not too short, but i am 5'4".

This dress was beautiful and I did receive many compliments. I normally wear a 16 and thank God I got the backup in an 18. The dress is very curve hugging and while the style is something I would normally wear, the fit is not. From the front I thought it looked ok, although very small in the bust (I'm a 38D), but from the side I hated it. Some women are fine showing every curve and that's great, but I was terribly self conscious all night.

Adorable black sequin mini with trendy sleeves, though it was a bit big around the body. Size down if you want more of a bodycon look.

I am a true 6 and probably could've worn the 4, but this was flattering Heavy weight due to sequins, but not too warm for dancing! Overall, comfortable and cute.

I rented this for a studio 54 themed birthday party. I wore a size 8 and was comfortable (5'7" and 155lbs). Although it was pretty short; I wasn't able to bend over much. Good quality

This "fit" but not in a great way. It was pretty boring and super unflattering for my body. I'm a rectangle shape with broad shoulders and barley defined waist. This one did nothing for me and was too tight through the bust

This was something different for me. It felt a little costume-y but it's a pretty dress. I felt a little like Cher (the original) and my 8 year old thought I looked like a sorceress. Maybe I'll keep it for Halloween. I was looking for something more sophisticated and it just wasn't for me this time. I could have sized down to a 2 for a comparison size.

This dress would be stunning on someone thin and flat chested. Unfortunately it runs incredibly small. I am usually a true size 10 and could barely get my arms through the size 12. The front stitching is placed relatively high so sits on top of the chest rather than accentuating any shape.

I couldn't get this zipped up, the boobs strike again. But even as zipped as I could get it, it's just not a very fun dress, despite the sequins. The neckline is too high to be fun, too low to be covered up and mysterious. Might be suitable if you were going to the winter formal at your very religious high school and you promised your mom you'd wear really opaque tights and not actually dance with any of the boys.

Not true to size

It was perfect for a formal affair. The size I got was a little big but better than too small. would definetly rent again.

The dress fit really good, even had a little room. I ordered one size up to make sure. It was so sparkly and pretty and VERY comfortable. Did not need any extra under garments to wear this and could wear a regular bra as well. I received many compliments on how fancy it looked.

This dress is simple but fun and flirty. I was comfortable at an event that lasted almost all night, and the dress photographed well. I'm very happy with this one. I'd keep it if I could.

I like how it showed off g legs and the sequence are very sturdy sometimes they fall off easy.

Runs very small. I would say the 18 is more a small 16. Is usually wear a 14/16 and this was tiny

Rented this as a backup so I didn't wear it, but I would-- it's very flattering, though it's absolutely the shortest dress I can dream of wearing, even with tights.
