Followed the reviews and got my size 2 and a 4. I’m 5’4 and 127lbs. The 2 was snug at the waist but the 4 was perfection. We did a Gala and it was perfect plus was comfy for going out afterwards. Very classic.

I rented this dress for my birthday. I love everything about it, but it runs very small. I was afraid after I zipped it I would be super uncomfortable, especially when eating a nice(and big) meal. It worked though! The ribbon around the waist has no give whatsoever and it hits around the rib cage. I suggest if you have a broader upper body/rib cage...size up. I got many compliments on it.

I am normally a size 6 but also got an 8. I actually picked the size 8. The 6 was a little to tight.

Wore this dress to my cousin's wedding and got 1,000 compliments. The detail is just stunning and it fits comfortable enough for dancing. I am a 34DD and work a strapless with no problem. Even though I wore the 10 I definitely could have sized down to an 8.

This dress was classic yet unique. I felt beautiful and it was easy to dance in. One of those dresses any body type would look good in.

I am 5'4" and weigh 125 pounds. The ribbon on the waste does not have any give, so I felt it ran small. Also, the zipper on the back is tough. The skirt is nice and roomy and the top fit great!

Beautiful dress! Wore this to the symphony but felt like I could have been a ballerina on stage. There is absolutely no give in the top part or skirt, but there is nice shape to the dress that makes it super flattering.

I really loved the quality of this dress. I rented a 10 (nervously) because the 12 wasn't available for my dates. It definitely was tight around the waist where the ribbon is and there's no way I could've zipped it up alone. I will definitely rent this again (in size 12).

I am 5'6 - 149 lb - 36D - 28 in waist - 37 hip This dress has a youthful and elegant feel about it. I would agree with the name "Black Angelica Lace Swan" the bottom of the dress reminds me of feathers although they are not feathers. The lace details at the top is very lovely. The details in the sleeves are even amazing. As someone who can appreciate small details, I really think the sleeeves for this dress are perfect. This was actually my back up but I liked it more than the original. I got two uses in one day! Wore to a baby shower with a cardigan to make it a bit more casual then had a wedding that night. Felt so comfortable in this dress and it was flattering in the right places.

Loved this dress! It was so pretty and I received so many compliments. The dress was small in the chest and int he waist so I would recommend to order up a size. While the 10 fit, it was tight on me (especially the chest) and I could have used a 12.

Definitely order one size up for back-up... As others noted, the waist band runs small with no elasticity so depending on your proportions sizing up may be more comfortable. I loved wearing this dress for a NYE wedding. Lots of compliments.

Fit like a glove! Paired with black tights, since my party 5was on a cold winter evening 5in San Francisco. With the nude camisole underneath, I didn’t even have to wear a bra! The material is what made this dress look and feel expensive. Quality all the way!

Small around bust so i went up a size. The lace and feathery skirt was well made. The nude undershirt made it look sexy but yet classy as a long sleeved dress. Perfect for a chilly november wedding. Definitely recommend this beautiful dress.

I rented this dress for a black-tie optional gala in DC. This dress was the perfect spin on the typical LBD, with unique and modern elements that made it stand out. The long sleeves combined with the short skirt made it very appropriate for the season and occasion. The skirt is a great length - not too short, not too long. It comes lined with a cool structured slip that maintains the flare shape on the skirt. Like other reviewers have mentioned, the waist on this dress runs really small so I highly recommend sizing up one or two sizes, especially if you have a larger waist/rib cage. I'm typically a size 8-10 and I wore a 12 in this dress. The waist has absolutely no stretch so you want to make sure you have a size you'll be able to get zipped up. I received tons of compliments and would highly recommend this dress!

My favorite dress ever rented from RTR (and I've been at it since 2013!) The top fits tightly, which is a positive, I thought. I could skip the bra and was super comfortable (D-cup), plus you want the lace sleeves to be fitted and not loose. The detail of this dress is just incredible - from the thick rose skirt to the sheer illusion lace. It is to die for!

I originally ordered the size 2, but could not zip the dress around my rib cage so I went with the size 4. I wore the dress for my boyfriends work holiday party. Tons of compliments!

This dress is so beautiful in person, the photos don't do it justice. There is so much detail in the skirt as well as up top. I wore the 0, and it was a little tight in the waist and neckline, but it fit so well everywhere else I wasn't concerned with it. You don't need bracelets or necklaces with this dress, just a great pair of earrings and a ring or two and you are set!

I took the advice of other reviews and sized up. This dress was perfect for the Holiday Ball at the country club I am a manager at. The dress is amazing and flattering. I received many compliments from the club members. The skirt is fun and classy.

This dress is my new favorite from RTR! So easy to wear because the top is so feminine with the lace sleeves and little tank underneath. Then the bottom is incredibly forgiving for bootie and belly pooch because of the fabric. Very comfortable too! I loved it so much I wore the size 2 to a holiday party and the size 4 to the ballet. So many compliments!! Would definitely rent this dress again!

This dress is so neat and surprisingly comfortable. The band at the waist was tight and fit more like a 6 but the rest of the dress fit perfectly. There was plenty of room in the hips and chest. The sleeves were a little short, but it looked like that's how it was supposed to be. If you're thick-waisted (just below the ribs on me), I'd recommend sizing up.

This was my first RTR experience. It was for a black tie optional wedding and I did not want to wear a long dress. The dress was beautiful, unique and perfect for the cooler evening. I am also 3 1/2 months pregnant and perfect for the hiding the belly fat/baby bump. I have a long torso, so the waist hit above my “bump”. The size 8 worked, but if I had to rent again- the 10 might have been a bit more comfortable. Also with the size 10, I could probably have worn it if I was a couple of months further along- or when your not to big and round yet. And don’t let my wearing while pregnant review scare you if you are not. The dress was very, very flattering and would have been beautiful on anyone! I loved the dress and the RTR experience!!!

This dress will go down as one of my absolute favorites. It is perfectly angelic and fashion forward. Running true to size, we recommend sizing up for backup. With no stretch in the fabric and a tighter fit in the bust, this piece works best for smaller cup sizes and may be worn with no bra. It is very fitted at the waist with comfortable room throughout the midsection. Although this piece is a full skirt, because of the fitted underneath slip, curvier women may want to consider sizing up for their primary size. At 5’5, the hemline reached my knees. Pair with black strappy heels and minimal jewelry to your wedding or night to event.
