Wore this to the rehearsal dinner for a black tie wedding and it was absolutely perfect! It fit just right and was very flattering. The detail on the bottom elevated the look and I was able to pair with some unique jewelry. I would highly recommend!

This dress was so comfortable! I received so many compliments. It was very flattering and fun! I could not wear a normal bra with it though because around the underarms is low. Just fyi!

Love this dress! The fabric was thick and yet still cozy! The cut of the dress was very elegant. I received so many compliments! Con- if you have a large chest you may have trouble with the bra situation. You can't really wear one without the sides showing. But I think the cut is what made it so great so it's a give and take! This was a wonderful dress! I opted for my backup size (14W) because the thick material is quite tight and my regular size (12) did not fit over my bust (38F). This dress was very flattering, and a wonderful LBD option for holiday parties! I'm 5'8" and the length was perfect for a work party. The pockets were great - and didn't stick out or make the bottom half unflattering (like many other pocketed dresses)! While I was able to wear a regular bra with this dress too (a huge plus!) because of the way the sleeves are constructed my bra straps stuck out at times. I tucked them in - and on smaller chested girls, the material is so think that you could probably opt to not wear a bra to avoid this. Great first experience with RTR! Would rent again!

Perfect for an event I went to! Fit like a glove. Only complaint is the zipper is hard to zip up. I did not need a bra and it is pretty thick material!

An amazing dress for a cocktail wedding. I love having pockets to keep my phone handy on the dance floor! The sides of the bust did gape a little (I'm a 38DD) but some fashion tape was able to secure it for the evening. Love the understated detail at the bottom of the dress. Dress came to about my knees, as I'm 5'5". Would definitely rent again!

Gorgeous dress AND IT HAS POCKETS! Actually chose it over three others. First great; armholes were a little big, but I have no boobs, so that could be the problem. ;) Highly recommend!

Y'all, I cannot explain how much I love this dress! Fabric is thick and heavy but not overwhelming, give and stretch, no spanks or special undergarments needed. The detail on the bottom was perfect to make it something more special! I got so many compliments all night and it really is the perfect black dress! I wore the 16W, which was a smidge big but my backup size wasn't available HOWEVER, wasn't a do or die can't make it work. There is gapping in the chest but I found with my strapless bra it made it a little less noticeable. The torso was a little long for my particular body but that's just personal preference. Im so sad I can't keep this dress. It's stunning!

I was very happy with this dress! It was not only comfortable, but very flattering. I have a hard time finding dresses that look good on me and this fit perfectly! I was a little worried about the heavy material because I was wearing it to a summer wedding. It was 90 degrees outside and I was totally fine! I would highly recommend this dress!

The fit was true to size. I ordered an 18 which is my typical dress size and a 20 for backup. Inn we even tried on the 20 because the 18 fit so well. The material is thick and high quality and the dress hit in all the right places. I was worried that the top would look like an empire cut but even with my larger than average chest the seam hit at my waist. I recommend this one highly!

Fits a bit big in the top but it was fine. Good fit over my hips which is my problem area. Need a razor back bra or criss cross the straps. Very pretty dress and it has pockets!

Only cons to this dress was I had to go without a bra due to the sides of it being a little funny and my bra would have shown quite a bit under the arm area. Overall though I really enjoyed the dress and I loveddddd the pockets!

This outfit was STUNNING! The standard stretchy poly blend material on a size small-XL dress at a general dept store. So it was forgiving.. however... if you have even a potentially long torso.... USE CAUTION! This can give you <you know what- kinda toe> with minimal effort. My husband had to help Me try to stretch the groin area so it wasn't too bad. I am 5'6 200lbs and average of a size 14- not long torsoed and this could have ALMOST been a NO because of that dept... but I sucked it up and loved how I felt in it!! Gorgeous!

This fit so well and was comfortable all night! It's well made and a heavier material so I never felt like it would get swept up by wind, but never felt overheated.The cut was super flattering- I recently had a baby and am not back to my ideal weight, but this dress made me feel great! It also has pockets!! Total win!

I wore this for my cousins wedding, it was my first time renting the runway & it started off not so good. The dresses I originally ordered were out so a stylist chose this one for me & overnighted it to me! The size fit perfectly & I ended up not even wearing a bra, the fabric was think enough that I wasn't uncomfortable going braless which is always a plus! The length was perfect so it was great for dancing.

Loved the dress, it was very comfortable and the pockets were a hit! I probably could have gone with a 4, but I was comfortable in the 6. This was my first time using rent the runway and I will definitely do it again. I am very glad they send you two sizes, not only was my second size too big but it also had a stain on it. Overall the dress is a great classic party dress!

Fits true to size. Loved the illusion at the bottom of the dress. The arm area has gaps so you might not want to wear a bra. Felt beautiful and I would definitely rent this again.

This dress fit perfectly! It has no stretch though - if my chest was any larger (40D) it would not have zipped. The detail along the bottom is really beautiful in person. I wore this dress to my daughters' baptism - it was perfect for the occasion. The top does cut in a bit so I had to wear a convertible bra with the straps crossed to keep them from showing. I received several compliments from family and friends.

The fit was great for my body type. Was super comfortable all night and can't go wrong with Black !

I really loved this dress. It was a touch tight at the "waist" but still true-to-size. Maybe even had some more room at the bust. If you're pear shaped it will definitely fit, but it could emphasize your bottom half because of the flair.

The dress felt heavy on the hanger, but was still very easy to wear. Although the length is a little longer than I was expecting, it worked perfectly with the illusion bottom! I received several compliments on this dress and as always, the pockets were a plus!

It has pockets! (Always a fave). I struggled with the zipper, and ended up having to have it zipped above the waistband and then pulled on over my head. Otherwise it fit well and I received lots of compliments.

The perfect LBD for your night out! This is such a great fit and flare dress! I love how the fabric is somewhat stretchy and how the fit is perfection! It is fitted at the natural waist and has a full skirt which is perfect for anyone with fuller hips. Running true to size, I would recommend sizing up for backup. I would suggest wearing this with a strapless bra, but I feel like a standard bra with crossed straps would work out perfectly as well. The illusion hemline is what makes this dress so unique! It is definitely its charm! Dress up this dress with stunning accessories and you will look fabulous!

I rented this for a bachelorette party where all of the girls had to wear black. Unfortunately I didn't get any great pictures of me standing alone. The dress doesn't have stretch so I sized up. Ultimately I should've just ordered my usual size, as the top part was definitely too big. I loved the dress overall. Just order your usual size.

I really liked this dress. Pockets are always a plus. The fit wasn't amazing. It was a bit tight in the waist and gaped under the arm. It might be a better fit for someone with a larger bust.

This was my backup dress which i ended up wearing to the ceremony of a wedding i attended the main dress i ordered was a bit too night time for a formal mass ceremony. I also loved this dress. I will say that it is a bit snug in the rib/boob section.
