So comfortable and flattering. I wore super bright pink shoes to add a splash of color, I would suggest a strapless bra for sure though.

I wore this to an outdoor wedding. It was extremely comfortable. (I was even able to get away with not wearing a bra - the material is substantial enough that it wasn't noticeable.) I loved the high/low hemline, and I felt like my white shoes balanced out the white at the top.

My original choice of dress was not available at the last minute based upon someone returning my first choice damaged. SO at the last minute I needed to pick an alternate dress. First let me say that RTR did everything they could to make sure that either received a dress I was happy with or offered a refund and in the end I received a dress I was happy with within plenty of time for my function. Although I was a loyal RTR customer prior to this experience this experience only confirmed what a great company RTR is and I will continue to rent from them. As far as this dress goes all I can say is it could not be more comfortable or more flattering! This dress is very my style. Shorter in the front and longer the back yet the front hits just above your knee - the dress skims you body so it is not going to be too tight on your stomach. The white straps and back offer a little something extra to the dress other than being all black. I would definitely re-rent this dress again!! VERY happy with my replacement dress.

Loved this dress so much! I was nervous about this rental because it came as a last minute substitute for my originally ordered dress. I hurriedly picked this out in the two hour window that RTR gave me to pick a new dress and was thrilled with it. The open neck/back is a little sexy, but not too showy. Super comfortable for dancing at a wedding. Paired with black wedges and a gold bangle.

The dress was absolutely gorgeous and the fabric was really high quality. As far as sizing, the chest/bust runs a little bit small. I typically wear a 2 in most dresses and needed the 4 in this dress, but overall the fit was amazing and the dress was so comfortable. People were complimenting the dress all night! I would wear it again in a heartbeat.

I wore this to a friends wedding and got tons of compliments before we even got there, just from random people on the street. I wore it with my hair up in a bun, Jules Smith onyx dagger earrings, and red lipstick. The whole look came together really well- I actually think this was my favorite outfit in a really long time. It also looked normal with black strappy sandals, which is awesome because I didn't feel like wearing heels.

Fits true to size. Size down for an extra size. Depending on the width of your shoulders, you might want the smaller size.

This dress was great! I wore it for a WHCD reception at the British embassy and it fit right in! It is so comfortable and easy to wear. Not very fitted which was great since I wasn't feeling very shapely that day. The little white on the back was a fun surprise!

This dress ran a little large but the fabric was luxurious and felt well made. I wore it for hours and was comfortable and felt like I could have danced all night. It ended up being the dress I wore when my boyfriend proposed. I have a large bust and it was still a little too roomy in the top so it definitely runs large. Beautiful dress though.

Very loose fitting through waist and hips, but very flattering cut. Top was conservative but fun. Ideal for medium to small chested figures. The high-low cut was beautiful and made the dress easy to dress up or down.

I was looking for something to wear at 9 months pregnant for a social work event! This was definitely bump friendly, and lots of people gave me compliments. Wish that a size 6 had been available, because that would have fit perfectly -- the 4 was a little tight. (I think prepregnancy I would have found the 4 just a touch too big).

Perfect from day to night. Wore this to work, and to a graduation party later that night. Very comfortable. It doesn't matter how tall or short you are the high low looks amazing.

This dress is pretty plain, but great for a cocktail event. I have large hips and a small waist so I belted it for a better fit, but also used a thin gold belt to jazz it up a bit.

The 10R wasn't available so I ordered a 12R and 8R. The 10R would have been best but I easily pinned the 12R instead. I wore this for my bachelorette party and loved it. The top fit great. I especially loved that the top tapered in. With a larger chest, these type of shapes are really flattering and this dress didn't disappoint. If you are a tad shorter like me (5'3") definitely wear heels or wedges. I wore shorter wedges and it was still perfect.

I wore the 2R, which is not my usual size. It was, as expected, a bit small on me since I usually wear a 4. This dress is one that I would wear a lot if it was in my closet. The hemline is what makes the dress.

I was going to wear this for a formal work event before I chose the alternate dress. The long back was longer than I thought - which made me feel a little overdressed for the event I was going to. I did love the dress though and would have worn it if I was going to a wedding or something along those lines. I may actually rent it again later this fall. It was very flattering on - but definitely go small. It's not fitted at all in the middle section, so I was going to wear the size 2.

I had a black tie optional wedding last Friday and had to leave Thursday afternoon. My original order arrived on Wednesday night and was just all wrong. I worked with a customer service representative (very helpful) to have a new dress in two sizes sent to my mom's house along with this dress as the super-duper back up. Well, thank goodness for it! I love black and would have actually loved if it was all back without the white paneling in the back but it was fine. The high-low was fun but it's not my favorite style. I wore a 12R but definitely could have worn the 10R or even the 8R, it really does run large and it drapes and hangs very loosely. Luckily, it didn't really matter that it was too big besides the fact that my nude bra kept peeking out from under my arms every so often. It is a great materials that is heavy enough to flatter the right places but light enough to breath and dance all night. It was also perfect to hold my 2 year old niece as she fells asleep during the reception. If you need a super flattering dress that is comfortable and stylish, this is the one for you. You can easily dress it up and I wore it with strappy gold heels and simple jewelry. I would rent again but in a smaller size!

The dress doesn't have much to it - it hangs for a very forgiving and comfortable fit. I was slightly underwhelmed when I received it after seeing all the glowing reviews. The white in the back doesn't look quite as crisp as it could (maybe just my dress), and the material has a slight sheen to it which I wasn't expecting. I wore the dress, but didn't feel like it was all that exciting.

RTR notified me the night before my shipment went out that the original dress I ordered was not returned to them on time or it had been damaged beyond repair to ship to me on time. They sent this dress as a back up. I liked the style, but it was a little too big, I could have used the size 6 in this dress.

Rented both 4R and 2R. Pretty on but rented another and wore it instead. A-line so the smaller size fit better

I loved the trendy style of this dress and the size zero it fit nicely on the top, but just hung straight down from there, not showing off my figure. If I was smaller on top and stick figure, or fuller through the hips, it would have been a more flattering dress.
