Stylist Review!
Nautical edge! This perfect style for a summer black tie. The fit is amazing, running true to size, with room in the bust and waist. For backup, I'd recommend sizing up especially if you plan to wear a strapless bra. Definitely wear your hair up to compliment the cutout and show off the neckline and back-v. Pair it with earrings and a sparkly clutch.

Classiest girl at prom!
I felt like I belonged at a fancy gala!! With 1 and 1/2 inch heels, the front of the dress went right to the floor- the perfect length for me. The train was BEAUTIFUL but be careful - it's long and if you or others don't watch out, it will get stepped on. I'm a size 0-2 normally, and this size was for someone with a petite body shape. (My sister tried it on and she and I are about the same size; she's very thin but her body is a bit wider and we couldn't zip the dress up) It was snug but not too tight and no bra is needed which is very nice!

Did not wear, too small in the bust!
This dress is just beautiful. The fabric is thick and heavy with tiny ridges. Several people commented that it accommodated a larger bust but it was not even close to closing in the back and I don't think a size up would have come close either. I rated it high as I think it is a great dress for someone who is proportionate. There is no stretch or give if you are large busted stay away!! My jeans are size 6 and my bust is 34ddd, I'm 5' 6" and the length was fine.

Stunning, unique gown!
I wore this gown for a "black tie optional" wedding. The gown was beautiful and I received tons of compliments, but there are a few important things to note: (1) the top portion is pretty tight; (2) the gown is extremely long; and (3) I had to steam the gown before wearing it as the fabric was very wrinkled- I picked the dress up from the Chicago store and it had been stuffed inside a tiny bag all day and was unwearable until I steamed it. I imagine you'd have the same problem if you had the dress shipped to you, too.

Gorgeous gown!
Dress fit great! I had to go up a size to accommodate for the bust. It looked fantastic, and I received many compliments. The dress was simple and elegant, but different enough.

Beautiful fabric ❤
I rented this dress for our yearly navy ball. The colors were perfect! I also loved the little peek-a-boo skin detail. It made it sexy and classy all in one! It had a beautiful train. The fabric was incredible, but for sizing purposes...know that it has absolutely no give. It's also not a dress you can squeeze into. I loved this dress and was glad that I ordered the second size up.

Beautiful and unique gown
The fabric on this dress is beautiful and the cut out adds a playful vibe. It is a bit tight in the bust but the cutout hits at a flattering spot. Would be perfect for an upscale wedding on the water or a preppy upscale event.

Truly a one-of-kind...
After a disaster with the first dress I picked, RTR overnighted me this one and I couldn't have been happier with it! The top was super tight so keep this in mind when choosing your size. Definitely get a free back up size to be on the safe side! The dress I received also seemed dirty on the white parts - it had this strange gray tint like it was cleaned wrong. The zipper was also very very hard to get up. Not because of the fit, it was due to the zipper getting caught in several fabric bulges along the way. The bottom of the dress has a fairly long train (as you can see in the picture!) but it isn't difficult to hold up, even while dancing. This dress is definitely the prettiest I've ever come across and I would rent it again in a heartbeat! If you're debating about this dress, don't hesitate. ITS PERFECT.

Got a lot of compliments on this dress.
This was a VERY comfortable dress! I usually wear a 4/6 but had to go with the 8 because it ran small. The length was great but the tool tends to get caught on stilettos so watch out. The color looks dull in daylight but it photographs well and tools great in low light. I wore this to a New Years Eve black tie event and it worked perfectly!

Customer service was so helpful in making sure I had a dress that made me feel beautiful in my size.
I wore the dress to a military ball and I felt stunning for the first time since I had a baby. I did have to get a 10 instead of an 8 but it was a beautiful dress. It fit a little snug but was bit uncomfortable. It's an elegant dress and I loved it.

Great dress for a Blacktie Wedding
This dress was great once it was on! It was perfect for a summer black tie wedding. Two issues I had with the dress... (1) the zipper was a pain on both sizes! The material must be really tough. I rubbed a little bit of candle wax on it and it helped a lot. (2) I rented the long and as a 5'9" person with 3" heels on, it was off the ground. Additionally the slip & crinoline would show. I decided to pin it up with two safety pins, so it worked out fine, but the length was definitely a concern. All in all though, once those were fixed, it was a great dress to wear!

Well made dress , form fitted and unique!
Dress was great. Waist runs small , bust runs slightly too big. Also very heavy, warm fabric . Not great for a warm summer military ball in Hawaii (I may have sweat a tad) but perhaps a spring event. In short so my hem tape was a lifesaver and held great on the fabric all night . A must for this dress bc it has a slight train in the back. Received lots of compliments on the style and color. Perfect for the coast guard ball minus the heat.

Sailor squeeze
Loved this dress, however the midsection was super tight. I wore my backup size and it was so tight getting up. Do not rent this dress if you live alone you'll need help! But after squeezing in, I loved it. It has three layers under that skirt so it was quite warm for an Ariz outdoor wedding, but the top was get and I just loved it.

High schoolers take note- young and perfect for Prom.
This was the back up RTR sent to me after my beautiful first choice back up became suddenly unavailable. The fabric is pretty- but for a curvy girl that cut?! Woof. The colors are sailor- like and odd together. If you're in high school and want a prom dress and you're thin as a rail this may be a good pick. If you're a grown lady going to a gala, try another! (And RTR team- if there's another dress-mergency -next time pick from the dresses I've hearted, please!)

This dress is GORGEOUS in real life. Has some significant size and weight to it, its noticeable!
The band around the waist runs a bit small and is hard to zipper, but once it's up it feels just fine. It is slightly shorter in the front than in the back which isn't that noticeable form the pictures. Super flattering from the back.

Absolutely beautiful dress.
This dress was fantastic -- it was so unique, the fabric and construction were unreal, the color was an unbelieveable sapphire, and it fit like it was cut for me. The lines were simple and amazing. The cut-out was sexy, yet demure. I loved it. That said, word to the wise: It had A LOT more skirt than I'd anticipated (i.e. fullness and tulle). In fact, as much as I loved this dress, I would not have rented for it again for this particular event. It is truly a ballgown -- had I tried it on before, I would have selected a different dress to wear as a wedding guest (I felt self-conscious all night). Also, I'm 5'9" and wore 1" kitten heels and the long was way too long (I wish I'd had a regular length). All in all, my experience with RTR was unbelieveable -- and the dress was perfect, just not perfect for that night.

This one didn't work out unfortunately
My husband and I were invited to a military ball, I thought this would pair perfectly regarding the color. This was my "second choice lesser money option." This dress feel flat for me in many areas. Ran really small, the fit wasn't flattering on me at all. The blue wasn't the blue I was hoping for. My first choice of the ML dress I reviewed worked perfectly though.
