I had to size up because it was a little tight around my waist. The under part of the skirt also kept getting static so I had to keep watch to make sure I wasn't flashing my rump. It was easy dress to move in, I was able to dance, and I loved it!

I probably wouldn't have bought this dress but it was fun for a weekend! Very comfortable and the color is gorgeous in person.

I received a ton of compliments on this dress. My normal size fit pretty good, if anything it was just a tiny bit tight under the armpits but not enough to bother me and I was comfortable wearing all day. It did not wrinkle easily so it was great to travel with to an out of town wedding. The colors are beautiful and the dress is just so flattering. I would definitely rent this dress again, I loved it!!

Loved this super fun dress. I have an athletic build and small chest and it was a nice and snug fit with a regular bra. It was very comfortable, danced all night!! I think the tutu skirt really inspired my dance moves :)

You'll get compliments on this beautiful dress, for sure. The top is fitted, but the bottom flares out, so if you're smaller on top but you have a bit of belly and larger thighs, this is a perfect dress for you. I usually wear a 6 or 8 in dresses, and the 6 fit me well. The tulle is not scratchy. I did not wear a necklace, but paired the dress with sparkly Ciner earrings and it was a gorgeous look!

It was very comfortable with a girly shape. The material was so beautiful and the color really popped. I received lots of compliments and was talking about rent the runway all night haha.

This dress is beautiful! The details are stunning. I wore it for a charity gala and received so many compliments. It runs small so I would go a size up. I am a six and ended up wearing my back up size which is an 8.

Beautiful colors! The tulle was not too "poofy" and made the dress so fun to wear. The 8 fit a bit better on top, but tight-ish around the waist. I would have gone with the 8 if I wasn't worried about being uncomfortable after dinner.

I had originally rented another dress, but when that was no longer available, I picked this one up at a RTR store. This dress didn't stand out to me online, but it fits beautifully. I could have worn a 4 if it were available. The six was slightly loose through the bodice, but the tulle and delicate embroidery were so much fun. I ended up loving this dress.

The fit is tight thru the waist but she said it was comfortable all night for the dance. It was age appropriate, but still fun. She is a teenager with a long and lean body type. The top was big on her, but a padded bra did the trick. She decided against the earrings, because they were just too heavy, but the purse also worked well.

The fabric on this dress has some stretch so if you have a larger bust, I would recommend sizing up. Although it is comfortable to wear, it is fitted at the natural waist. At 5'5", this dress came down mid-thigh while the tulle came down to my knees. This dress should be worn with a strapless bra.

I added a sash belt to break up the color and match my shoes. I received so many compliments!!

The rib cage area was very tight and I needed help with the zipper but don't think it would have looked right if I sized up. Could not wear a bra. Could move and dance no problem. The tulle did not puff out too much and was not itchy. I would wear this dress again in a heartbeat!

I rented this dress for a family wedding. The color was gorgeous and the style was super fun. I am not very tall- only 5'4" bit this dress felt super short on me- I think because of the style of the skirt. I was able to move comfortable throughout the night, but did feel slightly self conscious. The tulle had some significant damage but because of the style you really could not tell. This wasn't my favorite rental but it met my needs for the event. The fit was true to size. I am between a 10 & 12 and wore the 12 for more comfort in my rib cage.

I ordered this dress for an evening wedding. I loved the illusion neckline, color and fit - I received compliments all night. The size I wore was just snug enough at the top but didn't cut me at the waist so I was comfortable all night. The dress was breathable but the liner is quite short so just beware of that. I am giving 4 stars because it seems the RTR experience is not as high quality anymore. I ordered 2 sizes, only received one and the dress I received had obvious stains in the front and a rip in the tulle which made it hang past the hem line in the back. I was able to wash out the stain and stitch the skirt so I could wear the dress but I should not have had to do that. It seemed like the dress I received had not been dry cleaned or inspected (properly). So overall a great dress but a little disappointed in the RTR experience lately.

The picture doesn't do justice to the color of the dress - it really is a striking deep purple/blue color. I ordered two sizes thinking the larger would be my backup, but it ended up being the truer to size. If the dress does run small it's in the top/bust. I have a relatively small chest and from there to the shoulders was quite a narrow fit. That said, I got a lot of compliments on the dress and it definitely was a standout at the wedding. This was my first time using RtR and the experience was as easy as they describe.

fit well, liked the poof and the underlay. got many compliments. The color was very nice as well.

Unfortunately it came damaged (the tulle was ripped and hanging about a foot lower than the hem was supposed to be) and I was not able to return it in time, so I called, RTR refunded me for the dress, and I was able to pin the tulle into place and still wear it, but very carefully. They were great with customer service regarding the dress being damaged.

I got a lot of compliments on this dress. It fit very well and made me look thinner than I am at the waist because of the way it was cut. The illusion front was really beautiful. The tool bottom made it stand out, but the color helps tone it down (you don't want to be "that girl" at someone's wedding). I wore it with nude peep toe pumps and felt pretty all night.

The fit of this dress was not what I expected. I first tried the size 6 (which is what I usually wear), but it was a bit tight just under the rib cage - normally this is ok for me, but the tightness in that area made the top of the dress buckle and look really baggy. I put on the 8 and it was much looser, but because is was not so tight at the rib cage, the top fell nicer and did not look so loose on the top. I wore a strapless bra with it - completely necessary. The tulle was really cute and fun. The 8 also gave me the length I wanted for a wedding with professional friends. Got a lot of compliments.

This is a comfortable dress. I was able to eat and dance in it. The dress is little longer on my 5'2" frame than on the model - it hit me closer to the knee. I would recommend for warm weather as a wrap or cover up would take away from the pretty lace and tulle.

Great dress. I normally wear stretchy dresses and this was not that but fit very nicely and true to size. The seem is tight but not too tight and the tulle is really a nice touch. I wore a black bra and it could not be seen under the lace. Really enjoyed this dress!

I didn't end up wearing this, but I love it so much, and I wish I owned it. I didn't wear it because the event was a black tie wedding. I am petite, and I wanted a more traditional, long dress for the occasion, but I was worried about the length being a problem, so I ordered this as a backup. It's such a great dress, and it fit me like a dream. It could absolutely work for black tie, but since the long dress worked too, I wore that one. I wear long dresses VERY rarely, so that was more of a novelty, but really I loved this dress even more. I usually wear a size 2, and I ordered a 2 and a 4. The 2 zipped up just fine, but was a little too snug at the narrowest part. The 4 was perfect.

I've come to realize, when it comes to dresses (formal, wedding, etc.) I won't "mock it till I try it". This dress is one of those types of dresses. It is gorgeous on the hanger and features beautiful lace aubergine details. What threw me off was the tulle at the bottom which reminded me of ballet class. Not my type of thing. I tried it on and it was just stunning. Showed it to my husband and his jaw dropped. The only thing he said was, "That's it! No need to look further."

NOT for the short-torsoed. This was checked as "petite-friendly" but if you're proportioned with longer legs, like I am, you will find that there is significant amounts of extra fabric that just kind of folds over at the waist. A shame, as it is a lovely dress!

Save time to steam the tulle, it really needed it and it took some time and energy to steam it smooth -but it was worth it. Very feminine and classy, but also unique .

This dress is awesome. I got a bunch of compliments, and the fit made me feel pretty. :D Also, big props to the RTR team. I ordered a size 4 and a size 6, and neither fit. :( Either the dress runs small or I put on a bunch of weight (definitely possible) because I'm normally a size 4. I contacted support and they overnighted me a size 8, so I could look/feel great on the day of my friend's wedding! You guys rock!

Like others have said, this is better on than in the photo. Really fun dress! I didn't think it fit my age (50-ish), but I would definitely have work it if I was younger. Unique & fun.

Pro: I'm a 34DDD and the dress didn't make me look top heavy. The length was great short, but appropriate for church and reception. Cons: the dressed ripped in two different places)once when I tried pulling it down and the second when my 8 month old son grabbed at it. The zipper on the dress also got stuck a couple of times.
