The short black part of the dress doesn’t have any stretch , so if you carry weight in your thighs, size up 1 or 2. This dress will break necks!!! I loved the close toe shoe with the rhinestones and the earrings to match. It was just gorgeous!!

It was a great dress to wear to a winter Vegas wedding! I got so many compliments on the dress. It is a really flattering dress I typically wear a 2 or 4 and a 4 fit great.

This dress is absolutely beautiful! Rent it now! So many compliments all throughout the night. Definitely tight in the underneath skirt for the hip area. Size up. I ordered a 6 and an 8. Ended up wearing the 6 because the 8 was just too big up top. I do not have big hips but also am not stick straight and so squeezed my hips in the 6. I was still able to sit comfortably and had a blast dancing in it.

I wore this dress for my Barristers Ball (law school prom). I felt so comfortable and I received many compliments all night! I was having some issues with the zipper, but I was able to get a friend to help me with it! Overall, I would rent the dress again for sure! Loved it!

I debated between "true to size" and "fits small". I fluctuate between size 2 and 4. I'm petite but have a booty. The size 2R fit like a glove but was definitely tight in the hips/butt. The size 4 was more comfortable but the top was a bit loose. My 34Bs didn't fill it out enough so the sides of the top needed to be taken in just a little (if I owned the dress). I ultimately chose the 2R because it looked more tailored. Although the hips/butt area was super snug - you couldn't tell in the dress. Make sure you practice sitting in this dress if its snug. I didn't think about it and it became an art form to do it eloquently. ha! I'm 5'2" and wore 4" heels - the dress length was perfect! This dress is stunning and makes you feel beautiful. It also flares out when you walk so you feel like a model on a runway. I'd buy the dress because I'd love to wear it again. Only problem is that I received so many compliments that it'll be remembered.

There really aren't any cons about this dress. It does run small, however, so next size up would be perfect. I usually wear a size 0 dress, and this size 0 would not zip up so I had to go for the 2P. It worked out better for me since I am 5'1. I wore it to my work holiday party which the theme was "Hollywood Nights", so it was perfect for the night. I received compliments on it from just about everybody!! Def felt fabulous in this dress!!! Highly recommend renting it!!

Rented this for a charity masquerade gala, and list travk of how many compliments I recieved. It definitely runs small, but the right size fits incredibly well! The fabric doesnt have any give, so holds you in nicely without a bra, but means that the underskirt is VERY tight. The length was absolutely perfect; with the train just touching the ground in 4" heels. Cannot wait to rent this one again!!!

The dress fit me great everywhere except the straps and chest. The straps were way to long. You need a larger chest to fill out this dress. The zipper was also very difficult to zip even though it wasnt tight on me. Other than that the dress was beyond amazing.

This dress is my favorite of all my rents so far! It fit in all the right places! I felt very tiny in this dress and I'm a solid 8. I felt like a 4-6! I'm 5'3" and the regular was the perfect length. I wore my high top boots As my husband is a cowboy and we went to a formal western dinner date. I will be renting again for the next wedding I attend. Loved loved loved! I am small chested but with a little push up bra the top was perfect! I can't brag enough about this piece! When I walked out I knew my husband loved it also. I didn't even get that look he gave me on our wedding day lol you won't regret renting this piece

I first order it in a 4R because I'm a 4 in dresses but thankfully ordered a 2R as a backup and the silhouette was perfect.

I absolutely love this dress! I would definitely rent it again. Fit me perfect. Wasn't sure if I should wear the 4 or 6. The 6 looked too loose on me. I'm 5'1. 125lbs Cons: the skirt is tight. It isn't made for someone who is curvy, but if you do have curves maybe your second size should be two sizes up. I'm about 5'1 and wore 3 inch heels and the dress dragged a little bit... But was just an overall beautiful dress

This dress is a showstopper! The high low effect with the light pink lining was absolutely beautiful and it was so comfortable to wear. It fits true to size, but if you have bigger hips I would recommend sizing up, as the short skirt part of the dress has no stretch to it and is somewhat tight! I highly recommend this dress for your next formal affair!

RUNS SMALL! I am always a size 2, and this dress was way too small. My husband managed to get it zipped up, but it was laughable all the positions we went through to get it zipped up another inch - and then obviously it was too tight once on. :) Wore it for a formal night on a cruise, and it is obviously a very beautiful and fun dress - just wished I had gotten a bigger size!

This was a super fun and comfortable dress. I’m tall and all of the long gowns were too short on me. This dress fit perfectly besides it gaped a bit at the bottoms of the straps. Just pulled it down and it worked. It was super comfortable but a little tight when sitting down. Customer service was awesome! Renting was very worth it. Highly recommend!!

I fell in love with this dress when I saw it online, but was uneasy about how small everyone said it ran. I ordered my usual size 4 and a 6. The 4 I couldn't even zip and the 6 was also really tight. The waist was good, straps too long and hips unbelievably tight. I called and had an 8 sent but that was even worse. It was way to big all over. I ended up wearing the 6 and while it was uncomfortable to sit, I made it work and it was worth it. My advise if you have hips, order up and make the straps work with safety pins or something. Definitely runs small

Wore this to a formal awards banquet and this dress is a head turner! Love how it flowed behind me when I walked, absolutely stunning. The inner skirt was a little tight, but it fit perfectly everywhere else!

I normally wear a 4. They only had a 12. I took a chance because it was such a perfect style for my event, but alas, the top was way too big (it's cinched with a clip in the photo). I wanted to include a review because it really is such a cute dress, and to confirm other reviewers' notes that the skirt is quite a bit tighter than you'd expect for the sizing of the top. The 12's inner skirt was only a little loose on me.

I wore this to a fundraiser at the Beverly Hilton and let me tell you it’s stunning! It’s the best black dress with a hint of light pink underneath. The high low is gorgeous and material is thick. No bra needed as it holds the girls in good. However the reviews were right size up as the skirt underneath was a tad tight around the hips. Also the straps are too long so I had to safety pin but doable for one night and you couldn’t see them! Love this dress!!!!

I got so many compliments on this dress and I felt awesome in it, however, I ended up wearing the 12 (I usually wear and 8/M). The straps were an issue but I just used fabric dots to keep them down.

I wore the backup size 6L and it fit perfectly even with a strapless bra underneath. For tall ladies, if you wear any heel 2+ inches I’d go with the L. I’m 5’9 and the 8R was too short and way too big in the chest. Not much stretch but this dress was truly one of my favorites. I got more compliments in this than anything else I’ve rented. It’s so different and feels great on. Highly recommend.

Rented for a black tie wedding. A little tight in the hips I'm usually between a 4 and 6, read the reviews and went with the 6 which was fine but still a little tight. Beautiful well made dress didn't need a bra.

This dress was stunning! I was a little concerned initially about the comments with the tight fit around the rib cage area. But honestly it wasn't too bad and it made me feel tucked in and finished. I get like a million bucks and received so many compliments! If you have any reservations about getting this dress, put them aside and get it! You won't regret it!

This dress definitely runs sooo small. Instead of my typical size 6, I ended up wearing a 10R and it fit perfectly. I'm 5'9" and 145 lbs, size 36B.

The underneath is TIGHT near butt and thighs. No one mentioned how hard it is to pee in, but give yourself 20mins each time. I sized down because I didnt want to wear a bra and the waist bunched some in the larger size.

I am 140lbs 5"5, jean size 4, 34c cup size. 7 months post partum in this picture. My normal dress size is size 2 or 4 so based off reviews I ordered a 4 and 6 regular both of which were too tight around my rib cage. Customer service overnighted an 8L and 10L. Luckily 8L fit and length was only slightly too long with 6 inch heels. Gorgeous dress, though, just size.up 2 or 3 sizes!

I was worried about the fit since other reviews said it was small, however I am a 4 and the 4R fit perfectly. The only difference I noticed between the 4 and 6 was that the bust and waist were slightly bigger. Definitely my favorite dress at prom!

Absolutely love the look of the stress. It's been my dream dress to rent for a long time and took the opportunity for a wedding. Unfortunately size 4 or 6 do not fit over my hips even though I'm a size 6. I ended up letting my little sister wear a dress and she looked gorgeous. Since it runs small if you have childbearing hips like me, recommend going a size or two up.

Get a size up!! Repeat GET A SIZE UP. Particularly if you have hips and a butt. I would usually swim in a size 8 dress and it was still tight around my bottom. Other than that, dress is flawless. Best dress I've ordered so far from RTR.

I wish I could buy this dress. I wore it to a wedding and was almost embarrassed that my dress was getting as much attention as the bride's! I felt so glamorous in it. It feels very high quality and expensive and it fits exquisitely. I plan to rent this dress again for another wedding. It is so flattering, supportive (I have a large bust) and striking. A definite attention getter.
