Wore to my boyfriend's graduation from design graduate school. Skirt sits on your natural waist. Wore with matching Ava Crop Top. Wore 4 inch heels as the length is a little difficult for flats or kitten heels. Skirt is made of heavier material than it appears online, but I was still very cool even on at hot day.

Totally luxurious and beautiful. Perfectly comfortable. Quite possibly my favorite thing I've rented. I felt like a million bucks. Did wrinkle a bit throughout the night, but still looked and felt great.

Loved this skirt when paired with the matching crop top. It's extremely full (with a crenoline like layer underneath) but the overall effect is stunning. It's a white shiny and rather stiff satin but the gorgeous black floral print gives it a really cool yet feminine edge. Lots of compliments!

This designer definitely runs small and the fabric is extremely luxurious, but offers zero stretch. I was about 117lbs and 5'6" at the time of my wedding and the size 4 skirt fit very well with the crop top look, but I prefer it to be a bit loose fitting(forgiving) when my mid section is showing :) If you are in between sizes, I would definitely size up as it is easier to safety pin than lose 5lbs overnight. All in all I LOVED this top and matching skirt and would really like find an opportunity to rent it again.

A few things to note. First, the sizing is closer to a classic dress size -- similar to what one sees for a wedding or bridesmaid dress -- so keep that in mind when ordering. Second, the skirt is designed to sit hight at your natural waist and there is no give. Third, I am very petite - barely five feet -- and was looking for a full length gown. Even though it is shown as tea-length, as you can see it went past my ankles. (So if you're shorter, that is something to keep in mind.) In short, I would recommend sizing up (I am usually a 0 or 0P and wore a four).

This skirt is such a great length. Get the matching top. Size up if you're between sizes, especially if you're going with the crop top. I've rented it twice and I loved it just as much the second time. So many compliments and it's so comfortable to wear all day and dance.

I absolutely loved this skirt. Very flattering, comfortable, and stunning material. Can be dressed up or down. I received so many compliments when I wore this to a rehearsal dinner. May sit differently on each persons torso. I wore this up to my lower rib with a short top to show a little tummy.

This ran small so I had to reorder in an 8. I felt beautiful wearing this and received many compliments!

Had a scare getting the dress in time. I received the order a day late and RTR was extremely hard to reach. Their main number closes at 8pm and each time I called I waited on hold for at least 20minutes

Wore a size 8 top and size 6 bottom--needed more room in shoulders and bust.

Felt chic in that 50s glam kind of way (high waisted, flowy skirt) while still feeling on trend with the crop top. Optional to show a bit of midriff or not (I chose "not" as I was newly pregnant at the time and it was starting to show! The high waisted skirt helped.) I wore to a business grand opening had several women compliment me throughout the evening, saying they had been admiring my dress from afar and "just had to say something". I wore XS for the skirt but had to wear S for the top and I am NOT large chested (32B) and almost always wear an XS for tops and bottoms. So FYI on the top running small. Also, this ended up being a last minute back up dress (I chose it and thankfully it was available) because my original dress had been returned in unwearable condition from the previous renter. RTR took excellent care of me and were so easy to work with (first time this had happened to me). Get this dress, for something different you won't regret it!

I would definitely recommend sizing up for this skirt . The elastic waistband allows for a little wiggle room. It hits you right at the knee or below depending on how high the shoes are that you are going to wear! Overall a great option to dress up or down!

I really loved this set. I felt fashionable but it's such a memorable outfit that it would be hard for me to wear many times so renting was perfect. The skirt was full but I didn't feel too formal.

Not too full even with the Tull lining. It's just right. The lining isn't itchy like Tull usually is. When zipped up the fabric slightly puckers around the zipper. There's no stretch in the waist band but it's true to size. It may feel snug, but the size up will be too big. It's a high waisted skirt and light weight.

I had a last-minute event at the Met Opera and rented this beauty from the Flatiron shop the day before - easy peasy! The hem grazed my ankles (I'm pretty short) so I wore a high chunky heel. I paired the skirt with my own cropped, fitted Wolford top because the matching top (less fitted) wasn't as flattering. Its volume and elegance made me feel sophisticated, and because the waist hit high enough above my navel, there wasn't any midriff peep - totally appropriate for a client event and an elegant evening out.

It's really shiny. I don't think the picture shows the fabric that well. I liked the length and fullness of this skirt. I got a lot of compliments about my overall look. I liked it.

Was a good tea length for someone 5'8"

It is so freaking tight. I usually wear a 4. Went for the 6 and it was kinda baggy up top. If you pull it on over your head, it's much easier to put on

I normally wear a size 2 or 4, but this skirt seemed much too small for me. If you are between sizes or if you like a little breathing room, I recommend sizing up. Beautiful material that looked great with solid black top if you do not want to rent the matching top.

Once it was a size up it was great! I am usually a 4 but both this and the matching top run very small. The fabric is not flexible. But it is a beautiful skirt! I wore it with a black tank top and it was just the right amount of dressy for a semi-formal event, like a violin recital.

I have more of a square shape - so no hips and about 27" waist, and the skirt fit a little higher than it did in the picture and the top was a little longer. This worked out for me because showing skin wasn't a top priority of mine, but if you are looking for the fit in the picture, you probably need a longer torso or lower waist than I have. This was SO comfortable to wear though. And length was perfect for me (5'2"). The top could also accomodate someone with a larger chest, I'm on the small side. But thought it fit well.

Got compliments all night. How much torso is exposed depends on your proportions. I have an average length torso and my abs were only exposed when I raised my arms which was nice. This dress runs a size small and there is no elastic in the waist band.

The sheen on the material was much shinier than expected. The petticoat underneath had much more volume than I expected. I would strongly recommend renting to top that comes w/ it as it was hard to match a top because of the colors and fabric.

Fits true to size. Wore it with a crop top for a bit of skin without feeling exposed. Really nice shape especially if you don't want something fitted in the belly region.

Wore this for my rehearsal dinner with a black crop top. VERY tight, but other than that, loved it!

No issues, except on the 10 (which I didn't wear) the zipper was sewn incorrectly causing it to lump and not fall correctly. The 8 fit the way I wanted it to, so it was fine, but the poor sewing could be an issue for others renting the bigger size.

Unfortunately, the item was just too small. The quality and style are great, but size up if you want to zip it.

i ordered a 2 and 4 and neither fit me. i usually don't have so much of a problem and it was a beautiful skirt so that was unfortunate. definitely size up!
