The fabric is beautiful, it has a great weight and shine though it has no give. the 4 was a bit constraining since I have a larger bust but the 6 was too boxy so I wore the 4. The top is a bit longer and the skirt a bit higher than the photo suggests. I didn't get a touch of skin as I would have like. Over all this outfit felt amazing and fit like a glove. I do not regret my choice.

I'm typically a 0. Got a 2 in both the top and bottom. The skirt was a perfect fit. The top I felt a little ci trained but the 4 was too boxy. I wasn't tall enough for the top to look like a crop top but that's fine. Overall I was please. I got "you look so classy" all night.

Very pretty top. It's extremely cropped and only worked for me with the very high waisted marching skirt. Together they gave the illusion of a gorgeous one-piece dress.

This designer definitely runs small and the fabric is extremely luxurious, but offers zero stretch. If you are a C cup or larger, I would definitely size up! All in all I LOVED this top and matching skirt and would really like find an opportunity to rent it again.

If you have a larger chest size up. You can wear any bra comfortably though which is a plus. It's beautiful and shiny definitely get the matching skirt

This did run small. I'm usually a 4-6 but after receiving the right fit all was well! Gorgeous!

Fits small across the bust. There's not stretch. Make sure your back up size is a size up! I wore a 8 should of gotten the 10. Your tummy only shows if you have a long torso. Besides it fitting a bit small, it still looked wonderful. I felt pretty!!!!

Paired it with a Tibi skirt also from RTR for a wedding. My shoulders are broad and so it was a little tight in the chest/shoulders, but I run into that problem a lot.

For my bridal shower

The top was a little snug in the shoulders/underarms so I went a size up so I'd have room to move and dance at a wedding reception. (usually a 6, but wore an 8). I'm tall (5'9") and my stomach did not show at all as on the model. Do allow a few extra minutes to press this before wearing -made such a difference -it laid beautifully.

I usually wear a 2 or 4, and in this case I ordered the 2. Because the material is satin (I think?) it has no stretch and can flatten your boobs if you are in between sizes and decide to size down. I have A cups so it's saying a lot that even my chest was flattened! It can be hard to zip up the zipper by yourself if you're not flexible, especially given that the fabric is so rigid. If I would have ordered the 4, it may have fit a lot better. Going on the size that I ordered, I had to pull the sleeves down and the bottom of the shirt because the neckline kept shifting. Despite the above, the shirt is beautiful and I would wear it again! The print is lovely, the fabric is beautiful with a little bit of shininess to it, and then back zipper is a fun little detail (also necessary to get the shirt on, of course). To dress this down, I paired it with a high-waisted brown cotton pleated midi skirt, and I wore it to work.

Although this was not the item I originally ordered for this occasion, RTR was prompt in letting me know that unfortunately the item could not ship due to unforeseen circumstances. However, they were prompt and efficient with assisting in a back up. I normally wear a 6. I could have worn the 6 but it would have been constricting. The 8 was perfect so I would definitely advise sizing up for the back up. The fabric was fantastic and gorgeous. I wore this to a graduation and the same outfit to church the next day (with an undershirt) and got compliments both days! The cropped fit was flirty but still classy. I loved it.

I rented this top along with the Windswept skirt by Badgley Mischka. The top came pretty wrinkled but after ironing that wasn't super evident. The zipper was also broken but usable. The top was longer than I expected but I'm pretty short. It looked great and I got tons of compliments though! Probably won't rent this again but it was fun for this night.

construction, material and overall comfort is excellent. Completely wrinkle resistant. unfortunately size 0 is too short in the shoulders for me and might size up to 2.

It was tight across my chest limiting my arm movement. I usually go between a 0-2, but would have liked to try to 4 for chest size. But over all the fabric was a nice weight for a cool evening and it looked great with either jeans or black pants for a more casual look. I loved wearing it and would rent again!

I wore this top to a concert and paired it with high waist black disco pants from American Apparel. It was very cute and perfect for the occasion, my only problem was there was no give to the fabric. I had to wear a size up and it was still difficult to move my arms. The back is a full zipper so to help with aid this I didn't zip it up all the way, it in turn gave the shirt a cute open back look as well! I would size up just to be safe, but I overall loved the top!

The size 6 top was a bit tight on me and kept riding up, almost making me look like I had no neck! But it paired beautifully with the skirt. I would recommend going a size up for the bustier ladies.

It was tight only because it is true to size. I usually wear xs tops but being it is silk it was not stretchy. Great top though!

I will try another time in a 6, but the 4 was too small on both bust and shoulders. High quality fabric and beautiful pattern.

Wore this to my boyfriend's graduation from design graduate school. Wore with matching skirt. Did not show my midriff, so the model's picture shouldn't deter you if you are concerned. The top runs small - I would recommend ordering a size up, especially if you have broader shoulders like me.

This is a beautiful top - and it really looks amazing with the skirt! While it did fit, it was impossible to extend my arms in front of me, and so it would have been impossible to play violin in it, even in the size 6. It also bunches up a lot at the shoulders when you raise your arms. So beware! If you are just going to be at a dinner party and not moving much, you will probably be okay. But if you are dancing, you might find yourself busting out of it eventually!

I ordered this shirt to wear to a wedding, with a long black skirt I own. The shirt fit perfectly with the style. My only comment would be that many of the reviews said it ran true to size or large. I found that if you have more of a bust you will need a larger size. I wore the size 10, which was my back up, and it fit perfectly. The size 8 was WAY too tight.

Fits really well. Definitely a short crop top. I didn't end up wearing this for my event but it was cute.

Beautifully made--the fabric is gorgeous! I run between size 4 and 6 normally, and ended up wearing the size 8 based on other reviews. If you are busty like me, I recommend going at least two sizes larger. At the end of the day, the size on the label doesn't matter if you're wearing a beautiful garment!

Flattering and fun but good for a formal event!

I don't normally wear crop tops, but I really like the fit and cut of this one

I'm tall (6'1") so my shoulders are a bit broader than average, so I ordered a size up from normal (ordered a 6). The shoulders were still way too small and the fabric doesn't stretch at all, so I'd advise others with similar concerns to either order much larger than usual or perhaps just find a different top you love.

The 6 was not available, the 8 fit well in the hips, but would not stay high enough on my waist because it was a smidge too big. It was also shinier irl, which I was not a fan of. But the fabric was soft and gorgeous.

Pros: - pretty print - the shine of the fabric makes it look luxe Cons: - since the fabric has no give, it can be tight. I have broad shoulders, and I couldn't move very much with the top fully zipped up. I ended up wearing it backwards as a bolero jacket to keep it open.

The fabric and quality of this top is great, but be wary of sizing. I'm on the small side on top with bigger hips and thighs and typically can do a 2-4 no top but had to go for a 6 in this one as I was hoping to layer over a blush blouse. Sizing is sliiiiiightly large given my layering, but still has great quality and sheen to the fabric.

This top is cute, but it runs super small. I am a 2 in almost every designer, and this top I wasn't able to even zip it over my chest! Returned it without wearing.
