I wore this dress for an evening fundraising gala (working the event, was not a guest) and it was a big hit. I got compliments from staff and guests alike. Material was shiny and thick, felt very well made. It was comfortable and easy to move around in--which is good when you're working a nice event but still need to be flexible. Great length for petites!

I don't usually add photos to my reviews but this dress (size 6) was so great I had to do it! The bust was a little too tight to wear a bra with, but it didn't make a difference to wear one anyway! I received so many compliments for this dress and look forward to wearing it again!

This dress was a surprise -- I picked it up in store, it was selected by the stylist for me to try on. Based on the model photo, I never would have pick this out. This dress looks MUCH better in person than on the model. The material has some metallic sparkle to it, and the high-low hem is perfectly done -- not over-the-top or overly trendy. I wore this for a bachelorette party, and it was a perfect combination of sexy and classy. The front is short enough to show a little leg, and the back is long enough that I didn't have to worry about showing anything inappropriate while dancing. When it comes to sizing, I think this runs a little small. I typically wear a 12, but wore the 14. It fit pretty well, although I looks a little snug across the chest in some photos (I am large up top and wear a 34I, for reference). The waistband hits lower than some dresses, at the natural waist just around the belly button. I would recommend definitely recommend going for it to anyone who might be on the fence about this dress!

Loved the dress. Little tight fitting in the bust but still worked. The dress was not tight at all on the bottom. Everyone loved including me!

I didn't end up wearing this, as the wedding we went to ran a bit more casual than anticipated, but I was SO SAD about that fact. This dress was so fun and flattering and I just loved it!

Wasn't real sure about this dress until I tried it on at the Tribeca location and fell in love. Hugged in all the right places. Made the 'girls' look fabulous! Received so many compliments NYE...many of my friends didn't recognize me (they're used to seeing me in workout cloths or my uniform). Now to sum up service - great, as usual. My reservation was for a pick-up at the Tribeca location and normally you'd receive an email once the dress arrived on-site. Well I never received the email, and since I was already in the city, I called to see if it was ready for pick up. The young lady I spoke with actually got up from her call-center desk, WALKED to the floor where dresses are rented and called me back to say the dress was ready for pickup. I know that is not normal, but I was definitely appreciative that she went out of her way to help me that day.

It was cold outside, and we were going to be walking around. I wanted to look GOOD for my birthday, but I didn't want to freeze. And with the amount of walking we were going to be doing, I wanted to wear flats. The photo I am posting sucks, but I loved the fact that this could be paired with pants and flats for a dressy but comfortable outfit.

Chest as a little tight, but it fit well overall!

This uncoated metal zipper is horrible like many of this designers styles. You will need a friend! Great festive dress though, loved it and wish it were mine :)

I rented this dress for a formal wedding, and was pleased. It was striking and unique and, best of all, really easy to dance in. I ordered a size up and it fit perfectly, especially in the bust. That said, I am fairly large up top (I'm a DDD and breastfeeding) so it may be more true to size for others. I gave the dress 4 stars rather than 5 because, though it was an interesting dress, I didn't think it was the most flattering on my body.

I found the dress to fit true to size. However, like other reviews notes the black band in the middle of the dress was constricting and I can see how others might have to go up a size in order for the dress to fit. Overall, I really liked this dress and received many compliments.

I tried this on in the Las Vegas store and then rented it for a future event. It was definitely gorgeous-- runs small in the rib cage and chest. I'm usually a 4-6 and wore the 8. It was slightly big but was better than the too tight six. Glad I tried them on first. It is a beautiful dress, but in hindsight probably not great for a wedding. It's very unique, and although I got a lot of compliments, I don't know if it was the best look for me. Super easy to rent through rent the runway! Hopefully they will open a store in AZ-- I loved being able to try it on first.

It was pretty! I loved the material and dress we clearly well made. Both sizes were pretty close fit wise. It may not have been the most flattering cut for my body at the moment but it wasn't bad either.

This dress was perfect for my husband's more formal corporate christmas party. I actually ordered it as a second choice, and never thought I'd end up wearing it. But after my first dress showed up looking slightly different than the picture, and I tried this one on .. it was a no brainer! I typically wear between a 6 and an 8, depending on the dress. So glad I went with the 8 after reading the other reviews. I'd recommend photos straight on to really do this dress justice in capturing the moment! COmpliments GALORE in this dress, thank you RTR!

I'm 5'2" 145lbs in this photo, and wore the size 8, it was very tight in the waste and chest, but wore it anyway and received TONS of compliments! the material was light, not real heavy like some dresses I've rented, only thing missing was pockets :( This was my replacement order for the original dress i ordered, which the boning was poking out of both size dress'. RTR pulled through and overnight-ed this one! I liked this one better! overall great dress, not super worn-out like my original dress order)

Fit was true to size. The front of the dress is a little short but there is a lining underneath so it never feels like you are going to be exposed. Extremely flattering with where the waist line hits. Definitely give this dress two thumbs up!

tight in the waist which is my best dress feature. it had just the right amount of cleavage. I felt very glamorous. I should have gone a size up, but I felt and looked great for my photo.

Fit through the rib cage was a bit snug. Dress was otherwise very flattering and comfortable.

I was worried the neckline on this was too modest to flatter my figure, but it was perfect. Tiny in the waist, so it might run small if you're not particularly hourglass-y. It can technically accommodate a regular bra, but mine looked sooooo much better with a boob tape situation--the back is satin, so any lumps from the back of your bra are super visible. The shape of the skirt is so classy and flattering and the fabric all feels really high quality.

I rented this for a wedding between Christmas and New Years where the attire was "festive". I loved this dress. The length in the front made it sexy but it was longer in the back so I wasn't worried about it being too short (I'm 5'10"). I went one size up as the reviews noted it ran small and this was perfect for me. My chest was a tiny bit squished (I'm a DD) but I think it was fine. I highly recommend this dress!

stunning dress, fit me like a glove! Normally wear a size 0, but the waist is very fitted. Size 2 was perfect for my petite frame. Got compliments all night!

I wore this to a Gala for a work related event. It was perfect because some were dressed far fancier than others, and this dress was perfect for that mix.

I usually wear a 2-4 in pants, 32D, and S tops and I ended up wearing the 0. It was comfortably snug in the top and loosened up just before my stomach, meaning it didn't feel tighter when I ate all the food in existence. Having it tight on top helped the bottom to flow out more naturally -- such a beautiful dress! Lots of compliments, the ruffles laid beautifully, and I was comfortable the whole night! Get it!

Incredibly comfortable and fun to dance it. I thought the fit and neckline were sexy and flattering, while still appropriate. Didn't have to worry about readjusting or showing too much in a church. The front can be a bit short (as a taller girl), but not too short.

I'm an athletic build, and have a wide back. My back is the limiting factor for every single fitted dress I've ever tried on and I would often have to get dresses altered to fit me there and then not be baggy everywhere else. This dress was tight, but I could zip it up without difficulty. If you have a 38 or up bra band size definitely get your backup a size up. Unfortunately for me that would have been a regular 14 and that isn't available for this dress (just 14W).

I had a "black tie optional" event for work and this dress was amazing. After recently having a baby, nothing in my closet fit me and RTR saved me! I thought I would be a size 12 and it fit but ended up wearing my back up size 14 because it was just a little more comfy. Like other ladies said, the black tie in the middle is very snug so I recommend sizing up. Bonus: Wear a normal bra! Dress is very high quality and is just beautiful in person. The gold is nice and subtle not crazy bright or gaudy.

If you are busty I would order a bigger size. The top was a bit snug.

Perfect for anyone D+ up top. The fit was flattering especially in the front where other formal dresses tend to accentuate the tummy area.

Rented for a formal outdoor wedding. I got tons of compliments and the dress was extremely comfortable to dance and mingle in. The black strip of fabric in the center is a little tight. I still ended up wearing the smaller of my two sizes as it was pretty true to size.

I needed a dress for the Dallas Margarita Ball back in November. I have a bit of a rocker edge to my style and that was what I was hunting for when I found this dress! Out of the thousands of people who attended the event, no one had a dress style close to mine. I felt so amazing! The dress was light weight and fit perfectly!

It is a gorgeous dress it fits true to size, I usually wear a two it wasn't available on this I figured I try zero. I was literally so uncomfortable. It would've been perfect if I'd gone up a size, but that satin fabric around the waist line has zero, and I mean zero, give. I ended up going back and changing it to something more casual for New Year's because I just wanted to be comfy but I would recommend and rent again, just get my actual size next time

I wore this dress for a semi-formal Christmas party. It's a comfortable fit, the flare of the skirt is great, and I loved that I could wear a bra! I usually wear a 10 but sized up to a 12 since some other reviews said it ran small. It was a tad big but hardly noticeable. The 10 wasn't available so I'm not sure how it would have fit but this dress doesn't have a lot of give so if you're trying to decide between sizes, I'd recommend the larger. Overall a great choice.

Overall a fantastic dress that was comfortable and looked fabulous. Lots of compliments and very easy to accessorize. Depending on height the front could run short but I was fine with a pair of running shorts underneath. Looking forward to renting this again!
