I'm 5'0" and needed to buy sky high platform heels to make the dress work for me. I would recommend this dress for anyone 5'2" and up who is good with high heels. The bust was a bit tight for me and flattened my chest slightly. I wasn't able to wear a bra, but it worked fine. The material is very heavy and not very breatheable, but the weight helped the dress hang nicely.

For all the tall ladies with a booty this dress is for YOU!!! Perfect thick but stretchy fabric hugs every curve. I'm 5'9" and wore 4" heels and the front still skimmed the floor. Was easy to dance in and comfortable to sit in. This dress made me feel like a million dollars. Will rent again. My husband said he wished I could keep it :)

I wore this to my sorority formal. It was not my first pick but something happened with my other dress and I ended up going with this one. I LOVED IT. It was a little heavy for a spring event but it turned out ok! It really gives you a nice shape because of the black on the sides! I'm so happy I ended up wearing this one:)

I ordered the 4R and 6R, I went with the 6, I'm 5'5 and with my tallest heels the regular was too short so I had to down size my heels! Wish I would have gotten a long for my back up dress to compare! Overall it is an amazing dress that I wish I owned! Made my night unforgettable!

This dress is simple, classic, and sexy. It's perfect for a formal event that's not too flashy, but yet the dress makes a statement because of its interesting lines and figure flattering silhouette. I ordered a 2R as a backup size and opted to wear this instead of the 4R. The material is heavy and everything was held in place, and because I'm on the shorter side, the 2R hit right at the floor and was perfect. I highly recommend this dress.

I wore this dress to my sorority formal, and I absolutely loved it! It was not my first choice, but due to a mixup with a different dress I received this one...and I am so glad I did! The lack of reviews and comments should not turn you away from renting this beautiful gown! The overall fit was very fitted and tight, but in a good way! I am 5'10" 34D and wore the 6L while wearing about 2.5 inch heels. Throughout the night and the next couple of days people complimented how great I looked in the dress! I definitely recommend it!!

I loved this dress! It for perfectly to my body type and is very comfortable and easy to move in. It's not heavy, so it's a great dress to have on all night! The only thing that bothered me was the high collar rubbed my neck a little bit, but not a big deal! Over all awesome dress

This dress fit so nicely and was very slimming. The purple is a beautiful color and the fabric really pulls you in. It is very form fitting but I had no problem dancing the night away at our friends wedding! I am 5'5" and the regular was the perfect length.

The dress runs true to size. I can be between a 2 and a 4, I stuck with the 4 because it is a snug dress, so if you're debating, go the size larger. The material was nice because it was thicker so it was still warm enough for a winter dress and it laid nicely. I received a ton of compliments on it!

This dress was on my list and I am so glad they chose it because it was PERFECT. I received SO many compliments and I felt fantastic. The fabric is really high quality and the shape is really flattering. My only complaint is that it was a bit difficult to walk up stairs. The length was perfect with high heels, so it may be too long for anyone under 5'6. Highly recommend!

I wore this to my sorority's formal (that explains the kite pictures). The fit was perfect. I have a big butt and boobs, so I get nervous about form-fitting dresses because they're usually too tight in those places and too loose in the stomach. The fit of this dress is perfect for anyone with an hourglass shape, as the material is the perfect amount of stretchy and structured. I got so many compliments on how this dress looked on me and my boyfriend loved it! The only complaints I have about this dress is that I couldn't wear a bra with it because it was tight but the material was thick enough that no one could really tell, and the dress was very plain. At first I wasn't too excited about it because of the lack of details, but after I added a necklace and did my hair I was more satisfied.

The dress is very form fitting, but hugged my curves in the just the right way. It was a bit snug in the bust area for me (DD cup size), but manageable (I ended up wearing a minimizing racerback bra) The length was perfect with the 3.5 inch heels I wore. This dress was a definite success. This definitely flatters your curves. It does run a size too small so even though I normally wear a 4 I needed to wear the 6. I received nothing but compliments on this dress. I would highly recommend it.

The material is thick, which makes it good for colder months. The material was also stretchy and forgiving, very comfortable. The black on the sides make for a very nice hourglass illusion. I also liked that I could wear it with a normal racerback bra. Overall, I think it looked great and I was extremely comfortable all night long.

Great dress, i read it ran small and glad i ordered one size up. Length was good, i wore the long with 3 inch heels. Anyone taller than 5'9" probably cannot rent this dress if intending to wear with heels. Dress is very form fitting, recommend spankx. Would wear again!

It Fit great and was comfortable because I am always on the dance floor. I thought this would be an unique dress (due to the color scheme) and I received many compliments! Plus I was pleasantly surprised with how much better it looked in person.

Ordered this dress last minute when the original one I wanted wasn't available. It fit perfectly and was very slimming. I'm not feeling slim at the moment, and this dress made me feel really good. Super comfortable and not too long for my 5'4" frame. It was thick fabric and a 90° day but I didn't feel too hot. Would definitely want to rent again.

I received this dress because the one I had rented didn't get returned in time. This is not something I would have chosen for myself but my goodness did it look good!! Wore this to a charity event. Dress is super flattering!! In a perfect world I would have worn a 2r instead of 0p but that was all that was available. So I lived off of broiled chicken, steamed broccoli, and green smoothies for 5 days and managed to wear the zero fine. I did have to wear flats to keep from looking goofy with the length but that was actually a blessing. So much more comfy! I received compliments all night and was stopped and asked for photos!!!

The dress I had rented was damaged by the previous renter, so the RTR stylists chose this dress as a replacement. I was heartbroken by the change and I never would have picked this dress myself, but in the end I am SO GLAD for the way things worked out. This dress was perfect. Everyone who saw it loved it. The color is stunning, it's comfortable, and the shape is incredibly flattering. Notes: (1) The fabric is thick and heavy. This was GREAT for my event but could mean discomfort for yours. (2) It can take some time to get used to walking, especially up/down stairs, due to the mermaid shape. (3) Either bring someone to the ladies' room with you to help you zip down/zip up, or hike it up by yourself and spend some time realigning the lining and dress afterward. Cons: (1) The arm holes are large! I had to be careful of how I stood because at times my nude bra showed. (2) Without the right undergarments there WILL be bunching and visible lines, so plan ahead. Pros: (1) The color is stunning! (2) It's so incredibly comfortable! I could sit, stand, walk (after some practice - I'm not used to mermaid cuts) and most importantly - DANCE all night long. (3) The thick fabric is perfect for cooler weather. I was the only one in my group who didn't need a shawl or jacket. (4) The shape is incredibly flattering. It will make you into an hourglass regardless of your natural shape. (5) It's versatile. I added some edge with a funky necklace, but it would be so easy to make it much more elegant if your event calls for that. I loved this dress, and most of all I loved RTR's attention to detail and commitment to helping me look GREAT!

Fit like a glove on my pear shaped body. I'm typically a size 4, so I found the dress to be true to size. It was super comfortable and easy to dance in! The material was perfect for a chilly, rainy October evening. I was slightly worried about the train initially, but I hardly noticed it all night. This dress definitely makes a statement. Extremely classy. Made me feel confident, sexy and beautiful. I got SO many compliments throughout the night. Cannot say enough great things about this dress!

The dress was wonderful. The wedding was in NYC at the end of February. The material of the dress was a little heavy, that being said when worn during the winter months, it was perfect. The dress fit true to size, and was perfect for a curvy body type! I got it in a "long" because I'm 6 feet tall so I wanted to make sure it was long enough with my heels, and it was perfect!

RTR added this to my order since a backup look wasn't available. I thought it was stunning but at 5'6" the dress was at the floor when I was barefoot. I was better off with a different dress in a 2L. However, I would wear this dress if I can find amazing flat shoes to pair the dress with!

The fabric was great for the winter wedding I attended (warm and flexible). It was a little short for my height (5'6"), and the upper waist area/bust was a little loose. Also, I wouldn't consider myself to have curvy hips (alas), but the dress was a little tight in the hip area, so if you're particularly curvy, you might want to size up. Neither the 4L nor 6R were options for me when I rented, so I would have been curious to see if a different size solved some of my "fit" issues. Overall, the silhouette is very flattering. This was also my first RTR experience, and it was really great - very efficient!

I did really like the dress but it was too short. I am 5"4, 140 lbs and I wore 4 inch heels. The fit was great but I should have gone with a 6 Long. The fabric was a bit thick which made it a little hot but is also did not show sweat. I got a lot of compliments!

So before I get into the details, first off I was told I had the best dress on numerous occasions. Its not a flashy gown but the clean lines and flow are what really make it stunning. Pros: Stunning, classy, flattering, comfortable. This dress was perfect once the wrinkles were solved! I highly recommend wearing full body spanx, because this fabric shows everything. I wore a nu-bra and the spanx that have longer shorts and end under the bust. The nu-bra was a last minute decision, and the right one! While you can wear a normal bra, the seams do show in the back and a bra line would ruin the beautiful flow of this dress. It is quite long, I had to buy a new pair of shoes with an extra 1.5" platform because of the length. The train is lovely, but does get stepped on! I wish I could own this dress!!! Cons: when it arrived it was very wrinkled in the midsection and made it look horrible and ill-fitting. I ordered another dress bc i thought it was ruined/damaged. Well, the other dress fit even worse so i thought I'd let it rest over night and hung it near the bathroom to "steam" the wrinkles out while I showered. Well, that plus two pairs of spanx made it fit perfectly!! The reason for two pairs of spanx is that the wrinkles were also caused by some strange seems so I needed the extra fabric to fill in the loose areas. I recommend getting two sizes in this dress for good measure.

The fit was perfect; hugged me in all the right places. It was a tad long, but I still enjoyed myself. The fabric was thick, so very forgiving. Although the fabric was thick, I was still able to dance and enjoy myself. Highly recommend!
