I went with the 6 L since I'm 5'9" and intended on wearing decent sized heels. It was a perfect choice. The photo of this dress on the model is deceiving, the color is very vibrant, not faded like the model shot. It's also much more flattering in person than on the model. I guarantee you'll get compliments all day/night in this beauty!

Loved this dress so much. The only con I have is that the neck area was a little tight. Other than that it was perfect! I did have to tie the bottom up when I hit the dance floor but I still loved it! It was the perfect dress and the RTR team was so helpful every step of the way. Loved this dress, wish it was mine to keep!

This dress was so much fun to wear. It was flowy, elegant, and fun! The only down side is that the wedding was outside during windy weather and I constantly had to pull the train part away from people's feet (and my own). I got so many compliments and it was perfect for a summer time beach wedding. I just wanted to keep it!

Rented this dress for an awards themed birthday party and had so many compliments! Even with a fuller bust it still fit perfectly!

I'm 5'10 and wore 3in heels and the regular was fine, the tall isn't necessary! Cool and loft weight- perfect for an Arizona wedding and a busy dance floor.

Dress runs large so I suggest getting a size down but it looks amazing! I wore it with a belt.

Received so many compliments and felt like a super star. The colors really pop in the sun and in pictures. This dress is different from everything I own and was perfect for a boat wedding. I'd recommend only ordering the L if you are tall and plan of wearing substantial heels. I only really had an issue going up and down stairs. Wish I could have kept this one - my bf was asking where he could buy it for me ;)

Gorgeous and unique dress! Super comfortable and forgiving. The dress ran true to size or a little bit big. I felt really fashionable and fun at the event. Only con is that in crowded situations people will step on the longer overlay. But overall I LOVED this dress!!

This dress is the most comfortable one I've rented! The fit was perfect although the cape is a tad bit too long. You definitely have to wear heels with it. The pattern was my favorite part about it. It screamed Spring and it was exactly what I looking for. I wish I owned the dress.

The dress is very loose and comfortable. The neck was the only part that was a little tight. The sheer overlay got caught at times but completely doable. Easy to hold up on dance floor. I'm 5'5" and wore 5" heels and the 0R just reached the floor, perfect length. The color stuck out and I was complimented all night.

One of my favorite dresses ever! The fit was nice- the bodice could have fit a littler tighter, but it still looked great. Fun and easy to wear!

I adored everything about this dress. I was nervous that the dress would be a size too small, so I did have another dress for a back up. Thankfully it fit perfectly because I was in love with it! The short part of the dress is a perfect length, modest yet fun. The "cape" part just adds to the uniqueness and beauty the dress! I did wear around 4 inch heels, and it allowed the dress to hover over the ground. When I had taken my shoes off, I wasn't tripping over it, nor was anybody else. And very thankfully the dress was lightweight and I wasn't terrible hot it in. At my prom there was no air on so it did get very hot but this dress keeps you cool! Honestly the perfect dress to wear to your junior year prom! I wish I could keep it forever!

The dress fit perfectly. The train wasn't too long but if you are moving around a lot it tends to get in the way. Overall I loved this dress and got a ton of compliments on it.

I wore this dress for my engagement photos, and it was PERFECT for sunset pictures on a sandy white beach. After pictures I went to dinner and the dress was a great dress to eat in (i.e. plenty of room...). The fabric is so light and flowy, as you walk you just can't help but to feel like a goddess! The print is romantic and pretty. You will love this dress, I literally never wanted to take it off!

It fits true to size, and is a little tight in the chest area. I got SO many compliments and didn't want to return it. Best rental!

I loved this dress and got compliments all night on it. Everyone loved it! I'm normally a 6 and the 6 was a perfect fit. The colors are really gorgeous. My only complaint would be that it might have been a little long and I had to be a bit careful walking up stairs. I'm 5'7" and if I rent again (I def would for another wedding!) I might try the Regular length as backup to see how that looks. I had a lot of fun in this dress though!

I'm a size 2 and the 2L fit me perfectly but it was really long. I was 5'10 with my heels and I ended up just tying it at the actually dance cause I didn't want it to get stepped on. This dress rocks!!!

The dress fit true to size and was so comfortable all night long. I received a ton of compliments! I was worried the dress would be too long on me since I'm 5'2 but pairing it with super tall heels and letting it drag a little on the floor gave it an effortless glam look. Highly recommend!

Have nothing negative to say about the stress. It was much prettier in person. I did have a couple of times where people stepped on the Cape part. And I had 5 inch heels on and I'm 5'8" so it's pretty long. This for James Bond themed gala. 60s. And I got 1 million compliments.

This dress was very pretty with vibrant colors. I usually wear a 10-12. The 12 was a bit too loose. The 10L fit a little more snug, but still had enough room to not be uncomfortable. The sheer part was a little long, but it was fine with heels. The short part of the dress was just the right length. I was worried it may be too short, since I' m 5'9" and mostly legs. But i think it worked out well.

I really wanted to keep this one! The dress is stunning and brought in the compliments from males and females. The dress moved beautifully in the wind though did look a little like a tent if not moving or posing well. It was also a blast to dance in. The sheath is comfortable and a good length (aka not too short or long). The flowy overlay is also a good length for taller girls. I can be in between long and regular lengths but long was the way to go - I wore low heels that night (3 inches).

I rented this dress for a September wedding. I rented the 6l and 4l and ended up wearing the 4l. I am usually between a four and six so I would say it runs slightly large. I am 5'8 and the long was great with heels but it you don't plan on wearing high heels the long could drag on the ground. I got so many compliments on this dress and would 100% recommend it.

As mentioned it is a bit long...I wore Platforms and the 2R was a little long and the neck is also a bit tight. But overall I really loved it as did everyone else! I highly recommend!

I am a 2/4 and I wore the size 2R. I would not describe myself as "full bust" but had to pick a body type... the top neck/bust area was a little constraining, I am a 34C and could not wear a regular strapless bra bc it mad the top too tight and squished my boobs. Others have said also the sheer part is very long. I wore 5" heels. Overall very beautiful, it wasn't tight in the stomach so I felt very comfortable dancing and moving :-) Received many compliments!

Best dress I've rented yet from RTR. This dress looks and feels incredibly rich, between the colors, fabric and cut. The looser fit and high/low combo made this a very unique dress that I'd highly recommend.

Wore this dress for a night out in Miami. While everyone else blended inwithnshort black dresses, this dress stood out as sexy and classy. I recieved compliments from both males and females all night! Love this dress!

We eloped this summer, outdoors in a park, under a beautiful tree. This beautiful dress was the one I chose to wear to be married in. I never wanted to wear a traditional dress, but instead something that was formal, colorful, and really feminine. This dress surpassed all my expectations. It fit perfectly, was flattering, and made me feel beautiful. Everyone who has seen our wedding photos comments on it and asks me about it. The only bad thing about it, is that I don't own it. I highly recommend this dress for warm climates or summer time events. I was cool and comfortable, yet formal.

I was very nervous to rent a dress for my baby shower, particularly because I am 7 months pregnant and had no idea what would fit and how it would fit! The customer reviews helped me significantly, as did the stylist who helped me decide on this dress (my favorite to begin with!) I'm 5'2-5'3 and typically a size 4. Based in the reviews I ordered a 6 and 8 to have room for my belly! When I received the dress I was floored and even more excited when the 6 fit! What a confidence booster! It was a tad bit long for my height but I wore it with 3 1/2 inch nude heels and it still grazed that floor but it wasn't unbearable! The compliments I received made my day AND my co-workers couldn't stop asking where I had gotten the dress (perfect time to promote RTR!) I wish I could keep it!! Loved it and felt like a princess!! Just further validation as to why I continue to rent from RTR!

Perfect dress just very long tail!

I got so many compliments throughout the night on this dress. It's incredibly comfortable/breathable and the overlay fabric added to the overall look. I'm 5'9", 34DD, usually wear a 6/8 in dresses and the 6R fit like a glove. The print of the fabric works well with silver or gold jewelry, would definitely recommend to other for a formal event.

Overall fit is very forgiving. Wore it with 5 inch heels and I never had issues with it getting stepped on. The only thing that will prevent you from getting in a smaller size is a very tight neckline.

I wore this dress to the Oscar de la Renta 2015 Resort Collection Fashion Show held outdoors at a private estate in Lake Tahoe. It is always very warm (held annually in August) and I knew I wanted to be comfortable yet "daytime elegant". It went perfectly with my Persolé Chic Shade and I received quite a few compliments. The delivery and return was seamless, I highly recommend the dress and Rent the Runway. I will definitely use them again!!

I wore this dress for an event that was "summer formal" and it was perfect. From the moment I put it on, I felt so beautiful in it, and did not want to take it off at the end of the night. I was sad to have to return it, and will probably rent it again! It does run long, as was mentioned in a lot of other reviews. I am 5'8 1/2 and wore 2 1/2 inch heels and it still was a bit long. When you walk it's not a problem, as it flows nicely behind you, it's only when I was standing that sometimes people would step on it. But I didn't really mind because I loved the dress anyways. I ordered a 4L and 6L and both fit, but went with the 6L because the neck was a bit looser and the inside dress was a bit longer, ( hit right above my knee). The shipping and returning was super easy as well. This was my first rental and I will be doing it again! If you are debating about this dress, JUST DO IT. You won't regret it!
