Rented this dress for our Christmas photos. Was so fun! Beware if you are larger on top it is very low cut. I'm 5' 2" and it was VERY long on me.

Rented for my law firm's Christmas party. Sure, it slightly crushed my ribs and I couldn't take any deep breaths--but worth it for the ethereal tulle and perfect color. I didn't have any of the issues other reviewers noted with the straps being insubstantial. The bodice has a pretty structured built in bra so I felt secure.

Fit was perfect! It didn't need accessories, but jazzed it up with a gold belt.

The top was too big for me. I’m not very busty so I didn’t fill it out and the straps slipped off my shoulders. The waist was tight but totally wearable.

Wore this to my office holiday party. I absolutely loved it. The color complimented my skin so well. The moulded cups on the bodice fit my small chest extremely well with no gaping. The tulle was really full and beautiful. It just needed to be fluffed up out of the bag, obviously.

Super comfy even though it was a bit big on the sides of the bust. I felt like a star in this dress. Paired with red Steve Madden heels and it was perfect. Will rent again!

I rented this dress for my Quince Quinceanara (30th bday) in Mexico and boy did it do the trick. Tutu skirt, sexy fitted bodice, add an $8 Amazon tiara and I was a quince queen. Only thing to note, I'm pretty top-heavy with a tiny waist (34D with a 24" waist, and I was nervous my ladies were gonna roll out at all times (solved with sticky boobs) and I definitely felt restricted (ate a smaller portion of my bday dinner than otherwise). Beauty is sacrifice, so idgaf, but just a heads up.

I rented this for a throw back prom night - it was a success indeed. Very fun for dancing and received a lot of compliments. The waist is very fitted which makes it figure flattering but also got a little uncomfortable after a lot of dancing so keep that in mind.

Wore this to elope. Got so many compliments. If absolutely rent again.

This dress!!! Loved it! I ordered a size up after reading other reviews. I had to steam tool when it arrived. Pretty smooshed. Much bigger in the poof factor than I expected. Overall, perfect for Christmas photo shoot!

The rib cage runs Sooooo small & a bigger size barely made any difference. Boob cups helped fill the top out. The cups are very big & I'm not a flat girl! The dress was for a dance event & video....it was PERFECT!

This was actually my back-up dress for a cocktail gala where the guests were supposed to wear red, black, or white. When I received it, though, the boning was sticking out and rubbing against my arms. I called customer service, and they were fantastic. I had a new dress overnighted. The first one I tried on (with the damaged boning) was a 0 and it fit well. However the 0 in my new order was too tight, so I ended up wearing the 2. It is definitely tight in the lower ribcage area and generous in the bust, but it wasn't anything impossible to manage with fashion tape. I received compliments all night long, and it ended up being the perfect dress for the evening. Because it does have a very full skirt and leans on the side of being more formal, I opted for very simple accessories to dress it down a bit. I loved this dress and wish we could've taken more pictures in it!

I can't rate this dress highly enough- it's a true show-stopper. The amount of compliments I received was crazy, but even more gratifying was how amazing I FELT in the gown. The only other dress I've ever felt so beautiful wearing was my wedding gown. The bust on it was a bit big, but it was a simple fix for me, where I simply basted a couple of loose stitches on the inside, which were easily removed before I sent the dress back. Or someone without sewing skills, a padded bust cup insert would have been another good solution. The dress was understandably very wrinkled when it arrived, but was easy to steam/iron for a perfect look. Another "pro" for this dress is that it's so stunning, you really don't need flashy accessories to complete the look. Strappy, nude heels and a nice pair of earrings are all you need. The dress is comfortable to wear, and light as a feather, so even on a hot summer night would be a great choice. I literally can't say enough positive things about wearing this dress. LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!

Truth be told my husband selected this outfit for an upcoming date night to watch a play. I absolutely adore the dress but it's a little too formal for the event. Especially considering the volume of the skirt it would be inappropriate to try to scoot past the other patrons of the performance in this ensemble. If I had something more formal to wear it to I would. As it stands now I didn't wear out of the house but I still enjoy trying it on.

This is my absolute favorite dress I have ever rented. It's absolutely beautiful- it's so fun! I loved dancing in it! I am 5'5 150 pounds and typically wear size 6 but I ordered a size 8 and size 10 for back up because I had previously ordered this dress and knew size 6 was too small. If you have to wear a bra, get a strapless bra with the attachable strap that you wrap around and it makes the back of your bra lower so it won't show. I needed this to fill in the top. I was so happy with this show stopper dress! Absolutely beautiful and fun!

You won't see another dress like this. The red is flattering on all skin tones and the length, more of a tea length on me, felt fresh in a room full of floor length gowns. My only issue was the straps slipped down my shoulders a few times but if I'd caught that before leaving the house I could have easily pinned or taped them. This is a great option as long as you are comfortable with attention!

Initially, this dress scared me. It was poofy, red, bright, and reminded me too much of a ballerina costume. But, my trusted fashionistas at the DC RTR insisted I try it on and I'm so grateful to them for that! This dress was a show-stopper. It looks much different on your body than it does on the rack. I ended up loving everything about it -- the tulle, the open back, the poofiness, the color, the bust, the lace, everything! I felt like a princess in this dress and I loved the way it moved as I walked and danced. I received compliments left and right all night long, and didn't want to take it off! Note: I wore this to a semi-formal party.

Perfect dress if you're looking to mix it up!

This dress is the stuff that dreams are made of. I felt like a complete princess at the ballet and the bold red color definitely made me stand out. The quality is really nice too especially if you're looking for a poofy tulle dress. As for sizing, I thought it was pretty true to size. The most fitted part for me was the waist so order according to your waist size! It is pretty low cut with a low back so definitely have a nu bra handy. Best rental ever.

Both sophisticated and incredibly fun to wear. The peplum top gives it elegant structure, the low back makes it sexy, and the jagged tulle skirt of course makes it wonderfully playful. My fiance and I both wore red converse (he wore a dark blue velvet suit) and had a fabulous night! Fit: I have tiny boobs so the chest was a little too big for me, but it still looked okay. Waist was too tight for me since it hit at my ribcage (since I'm so tall). But I'm guessing it'd be a normal size 2 for someone of average height.

I've never gotten so many compliments on a dress! Multiple people said I was the best dressed there. The dress runs mostly true to size, but I would recommend ordering the second size smaller (I wore a size smaller so I could wear without a bra).

Fits beautifully and slightly small but almost true to size. The tulle stayed fluffed all night. I think my favorite part was the low back. the straps never slipped down! The only thing that felt slightly uncomfortable was the ribbing but never enough to make me not want to wear it.

The color of this dress is to die for. I usually don't wear red, but it was a New Year's Eve wedding and I wanted to go all out. I'm big chested, but the fit was perfect and the cups in the front did the job of a bra. The bodice fit me like a glove and really gave a nice waist line especially when compared with the GIANT skirt. The tulle on this dress was allot... I'm a risky dresser but even the puffy-ness of this skirt made me a little nervous. I got so many compliments and there was not one person that didn't notice this dress. The dress is allot so I was paired it with some simple glittery stud earrings and that was enough. Risk takers .. this is YOUR DRESS!

This dress fits small, couldn't zip it the back. Other than needing to size up, this dress just pops. The color is stunning and it's a great midi length

Loved wearing this statement dress for a Halloween party. Not really sure what I was supposed to be but damn did I look fabulous. It was a little hard to zip up and definitely tight in the waist, but I felt like it was worth it. :)

This dress is made for women with a tiny waste and large breasts. It was too big for me up top so I had to safety pin it. But it was a beautiful dress and I had a lot of fun wearing it!

I wanted to rent this dress for past occasions, but everyone told me it looked like an "80s prom dress." However when my initial dress I chose for this particular wedding wasn't available, I called Rent the Runway's spectacular customer service and they let me choose this dress in the other's place, no sweat. I am a size 6, but ordered an 8 as my backup, because a lot of reviews said the bust area ran small. Unfortunately, with my already small bust and slightly wider stomach and waist area, this dress was surprisingly difficult for me to be comfortable in. The bust ended up being too large, and the zipper didn't go all the way up in the back for either size. I ended up finagling it to make it work, and it looked great and was easy to dance in once I figured out how to make it sit properly on my body. It ended up looking gorgeous and I got a lot of compliments, but I was not the most comfortable in this outfit, and my experience with this dress was not the most enjoyable! :( If you are looking at this dress and you like it, I would suggest someone with a slightly larger bust with a slimmer waist. I think that's the way my body would've felt the most comfortable in this dress.

This was a great Halloween costume. The straps were a little loose, seemed over worn and stretched out. It fits tight on the chest but perfect for the holiday.

This dress is very beautiful. I wore it for a Sex and the City Soirée and I got tons of compliments. The only problem that I had was on the Breast area--it was a little big for me. Other than that the dress is fabulous. I paired with my Blue Manolo's and it was a great success!!!

What a spectacularly fun dress!! I really wanted to wear it. I was throwing a party and thought it would be the perfect dress for it. Unfortunately I didn't feel secure with the top. The bodice was held together by two thin straps with a very low back. Given the amount of tulle in the bottom, the dress has a weight to it, as such, I didn't think two straps felt secure enough to hold the dress. Moreover, I wish the straps were adjustable. I have a short torso, and I wish I can bring up the dress by an inch or so. Overall, I really love the dress, it's so unique and fun. It would be a perfect dress to be photographed in, not sure I feel comfortable dancing the night away in it!
