One of the most elegant dresses I've ever worn. Dress has such amazing structure that I didn't need a bra(32DD). Perfect for cocktails or work event! I cannot emphasize how MAH-JOR this dress is!

I did not want to give this dress back. I wore it to a black tie optional barristers ball (law school prom) and it was perfect balance of fitted and flattering without being awkward to run into a professor in :) I was between the 44 and the 42 and ended up going with the 44 because I thought the 42 was a tiny bit too tight on the back...however the dress did loosen some and I probably would have been happy in the 42 (this may have been partly sue to a rainy night). Overall I really have nothing negative to say about the dress, it felt great, looked great and I got a bunch of compliments!

This was my absolute favorite dress I've rented... it was incredibly sexy but very classy. The color is gorgeous and so perfect for a fall event. Because of the back, I was a little worried but I am a DD and was able to go braless. I did have to unzip it a few inches from the bottom so I could walk and dance without looking like a penguin, though.

This was such a beautiful dress! I could not keep the smile off my face! I felt like a model! The length is perfect and the scoop neck is very classy. I had many complements all night long. Highly Recommended! I have rented this more than once. I did not have to wear a bra because it had a nice hold in the bust already. Looked amazing.

I wore this for a formal event i had for my sorority. I loved the dress and the color was immaculate. It worked for my dark skin tone but it would work for anyone I think. It was a bit small around the waist area but I wore spanx with it and it was perfect. You also do not need to wear a bra with this because of the back and the thickness of the fabric. The length is perfect as well as the cut. The cut is very slimming. I would say that it is difficult to walk because the bottom is tight around the leg but besides that, I would definitely rent again. It was worth the price.

Unfortunately the 42 was damaged beyond repair and I only had the option of the 44 which was too large in the waist and chest- I did some impromptu temporary tailoring and was able to wear the dress. The fit was beautiful, the fabric is gorgeous, and the design is classy yet modern. I would have given a 5 star rating if the 42 had been available! RTR customer service did give me a replacement credit due to the situation and they were very helpful. Great dress I would love to own :)

This didn't work for me. I have a slender waist and hips and 30DD on top - the middle part fit VERY snugly (size 38) with absolutely no give (though that fit me okay) but the top part was very loose. I love the wine color and the open back but at 5'4", the length was too much for me. Still a very neat dress for someone with a small waist & small hips & broad shoulders or larger breasts.

Beautiful color. Sexy cutouts in back- couldn't wear a bra but material was thick and held me in anyway. Length hit right below knee but longer length kept it classy. Adjustable slit in back too. Would rent again and again. Great customer service from Toni!!!

Loved it. Just the right amount of curve and stretch to be flattering and slimming. Lots of compliments . I liked because was a great length. Sexy and different. I paired with the crystal necklace and wow that got sooooooo many compliments. Easy easy rental and wish I had enough money to buy the dress. This was my first time using RTR. At first I kept my secret from my friends and family ......but then had to let the cat out of the bag and everyone loved the idea.

I rented this for an important work meeting followed by a corporate dinner cruise with my boyfriend's new office--it was FANTASTIC! I wore a blazer and heels during the day, fully covered and buttoned up. Absolutely stunning color and fit for a conservative office. At night, for dinner, I wore the dress with out a cover and with flats--I received so many compliments. My boyfriend loved the color and the fit is a show stopper--this dress really shows off the goods. The top is difficult to wear a bra with, as the hole in the back is exactly where a bra cross. However, the front is significantly enough lined that you cant tell. Also, the ribs and top section are pretty fitted. The zipper up the back is a very sexy addition--and allows for you to be able to move by undoing the zipper a bit at the back bottom hem; the fit of the skirt, and the length (below the knee on me, and I'm 5'8), can make it difficult to take very quick or big steps. However, this dress is really, really a designer knock out. Highly suggested. Will definitely rent this again.

Wonderful dress for fall. The color is between brown and wine. Narrow at the knees so I took short steps. Would wear again.

The fabric is thick and flattering- hides bumps and lumps. Most people can prob get away without wearing a bra in it, I wore a nu-bra to give myself a bit more shape. Didn't wear any shapewear and it was fine. Note- because of how fitted the dress is, and the placement of the zipper and the bra-hook clasps on the racer-back, it is a little tricky to get into-- I spent 5 mins trying to reach the back of the dress/wiggle into it with the clasps closed- so if possible, plan to have a helper around.

I really wanted to wear this dress, but it was just shy of fitting me right and I didn't have an extra size. I would definitely rent it again now that I know what size to get. The color is so rich and gorgeous. Simple, elegant, perfect.

I did not wear this dress because it was too big (size 8) and my size ( usually 4 or 6) was not available. The top portion of the dress was way too big, but almost fit my bottom half. Although, the back and the zipper was what caught my eye. You'll need a special bra for this one. Would have been nice to try my size!

I loved this dress and wished I was able to wear it out, but it just seemed too roomy, too bad the 44 wasn't available. What I loved? Even at 5'10" this dress is appropriate to wear when you might not want too much leg showing, yet it has the potential to be figure hugging as well. Loved the open-back detailing and the rich color. This dress showed some puckering and wear in the seams, but otherwise a great RTR experience.

I ordered this dress as a back up for a fashion show I attended. Though the burgundy color is stunning, I ended up wearing another Narciso Rodriguez dress (also size 38). This dress was too tight even with spanx. The material is a bit thinner than other Narciso dresses and is less forgiving. I could've gone for a size 40, but it was not available.

Unfortunately, I'm a bit old for going braless, so the 'no-bra' was a dealbreaker. Maybe I just had a bad size...it clung where I didn't want it to cling, and I needed shapewear to smooth out the bumps. Pretty color though. This was for a gala cocktail party where I need to walk a pretty thin line between "covered up" and "sexy". Slinky I can usually do, so that's what drew me to this dress.

It is a beautiful color and great fabric! I really wanted this dress to work. The bottom fit perfectly but the top was too loose. You can't wear a bra with this dress but if I could wear a padded bra I'm sure this dress would have worked. Oh well.

My regular size was too small and the next size up was too big... I kept looking a the tags to see if I was give the 44 and the 46 or the 44 and the 48. There was a big difference between the two.Ultimately, I ended up wearing something I had in my closet. I liked the dress.. If I droppe about 5 pounds I probably could squeez into the small size a bit more comfortably and woudl try again for a future rental. Not sure how to size this one up.

The color is beautiful and the dress is well made, but it didn't fit. The size 42 looked a little too tight across my hips. The size 44 was too big in the bust (you can't wear a bra with this dress so I couldn't pad it at all).

I went by previous reviews indicating that it ran small so I ordered up and it was too big on the top. I wear a 34D bra.

I rented the 44 and the 46, I got an email that the 44 was damaged beyond repair and that I would be getting a different backup dress. I tried on the 46 and it was just too loose on the top. It also came quite crumpled, which was surprising for RTR because the dresses normally come very nice.

I rented this dress along with many others for our huge Napa Valley Film Festival this November. I found that it was just too small for my rather large bust and broad back. I was also going the the super WOW factor so even if it had fit, it would have been too subtle for the celebrity meet and greets that weekend.
