I wore this to a black tie wedding in NYC after RTR sent me a different dress with a huge rip in it. I wouldn't have originally chosen this dress on my own, but it was the only dress at the Flat Iron showroom that fit me. This dress ended up being GORGEOUS! I couldn't wear a bra with it, but because of the back closure, that wasn't a problem for me. Fit like a glove on top, very comfortable to wear. It moves in a very effortless way, and I felt like I fit in perfectly at the wedding without feeling "overdone." Highly recommend!

This simple black gown is given a trendy twist with the cutout back detail and asymmetrical hemline! It runs very small, so I would recommend going up a size for your backup dress. I would not recommend this dress for those with larger busts, as the bust area is small and you cannot wear a bra!

I got this dress as a back up and while it is stunning, my 34C's were busting out of the top. I could have worn it but I did not feel comfortable. Waist size was perfect and the cut and fabric on the dress are so beautiful. The back is REALLY pretty. I would say that if you are larger busted and smaller waisted like me then this dress may not be for you. On an A or small B cup this dress would be phenomenal!

Got this as a replacement rental for a college formal. The material of the dress is really thick and luxurious, but when I put it on it wasn't all that impressive. The waist sat a bit low and was a tiny bit larger than expected, which made me look kind of wide. I'm pretty short waisted though, so if you have a longer torso it would probably be more flattering on you.

Just not the best dress for a formal event. I ended up wearing this dress after "The dress" I originally ordered along with its replacement was not available at the last minute. I originally scheduled the dress 2 evenings prior but received this dress the evening prior to my event and it just did not give me any time to get another dress that fit the occasion better. I was promised over the phone that I would be given this dress AND the next size up since this one runs small. I had a formal affair and this dress rental was the most important of many in the weekend. Alas, the irony is it was the only shipment there was a problem with. My hubby ended up having to put a (removable) bra extender so my chest did not look like it was about to explode from the dress --- and I'm just a small B cup. The dress itself is very pretty and maybe ok for a formal wedding or a gala, but not for a black tie formal affair. Totally plain and waaaaaaay shorter than it should be. I must applaud RTR for their excellent customer service and disposition, but alas, there is no substitution for not wearing "the dress" on an important evening. In the future I will use RTR for non critical events and always have a plan B, but I WILL use the service again just for their nice clothing and customer service.

Fits tight in the bust, definitely not meant to be worn with a bra. Loved the asymmetrical hemline that gave the dress a bit of a train...made me want to twirl all night.

Very comfortable but cant be worn with a bra. I have a small chest and cant imagine how it would work with a larger bust. Otherwise it was a fabulous gown for a black tie wedding affair. Felt comfortable yet elegant and classic.

I usually wear a zero sometimes a two, but I loved this dress so much and only the four was available. Unfortunately it was huge on me, especially around the bust (I'm very small busted). It was quite beautiful in person, but I think it would probably suit taller frames a little better
