Incredible, stunning dress that was perfect for a black tie event. Two warnings: 1) It fits veryyyy tight in the bust. Because of this I had to size up to the 40, which was perfect in the bust but wide-ish in the waist. And 2) It runs quite long. I wore 3" heels but the back dragged ("draped" sounds better, I suppose) behind me all night. It looked like a train, which was wonderful and worked to its advantage, but I still wish it was shorter. That said, it's impeccably constructed and the fabrics and texture contrasts are just sublime.

Beautiful dress! Loved it, lots of compliments! I was able to wear my normal size 4, however, only because I'm small chested. If you have larger breasts, you might have difficulty with this dress. It was perfect for me though!

I loved this dress. It has multiple layers and fabrics of varying textures, which made it very flattering, especially in the waist area, and when you walked it had a bit of a flutter to it. However it looks a bit like a boring black dress in photos. In real life it looked much better, to the point where I almost marked it 4 stars, but I loved it so much on the night that I kept it at 5 stars.

This was the alternative dress in my order, and I did not end up wearing this dress. The material is just like another renter commented - silky like a sexy nightgown. It was very pretty, and in general comfortable. However, although the straps seemed tight on my shoulders they seemed to fall to the side often. And since I am not large in the chest, I simply didn't have enough to fill up the top and keep the material against my skin, so when I leaned over just a bit the dress moved and if anyone was around they'd get a peek! So, pretty dress, runs true to size I'd say, but I would say a B cup minimum to fill this out and keep it in place.

Beautiful dress. Fabric was much softer than I anticipated (not as rigid as it looks online) and the fit was amazing. Straps were a bit snug, but not a show stopper.

I was sent this dress as a backup since the backup size for my original dress was deemed unwearable. This dress is nice and it has a train-like back, but it just wasn't for me. I was going to a back tie wedding and it was too revealing in the front for my taste. I prefer dresses that show off more of a silhouette and less of the decolletage. I'm not a big fan of the high-low for this particular dress and I kind of felt like I was in a night gown. Also the arm holes were small in that I could feel a lot of pressure in my armpit. (I hope that makes sense?!) But that's just my opinion and I'm putting it out there for you other RTR-ers to see as you are doing some recon!

I received so many compliments on the dress. The bust is a little small and the straps are tight as others have mentioned, but it worked out well for me since I have a smaller chest.

This was overall too big for me, but a very nice dress. The front was too long, it came down past my knees and the middle section was baggy. Also, the straps were a little too long. I wish it fit, because it is a really great looking dress!

RTR sent this to me as a backup when another I ordered wasn't available. It is truly a stunning gown. The material is rich and both looks and feels sleek and stunning. My favorite part of the dress is something that you can't quite make out in these pictures, which is that there is a layered effect at the back -the slanted panel from the front extends diagonally to the floor and is then topped with a satin panel cascading down the back. It gives you an almost train and a definitely beautiful wavy flutter when you walk.
