Nothing can damper a day like feeling like a linebacker...that's why it's imperative I promote this dress! You can't tell from the photo but the fabric on the top of the dress folds inward, covering the shoulder and trap area, concealing my broad shoulders and back. The interesting neckline and slight peplum promote this black dress from monotonous to alluring! My only qualm being the slight looseness at the bottom of this dress. Had it been my own I would tailor it to perfection. I'll be renting this dress again along with my favorite Kendra Scott turquoise earrings!

The details around the waist are flattering! I wear a US 4, and this dress was a tad too large for me in the hips, but I am an athletic shape with a pretty straight waist. The contrasting fabric on the waist detail adds a really flattering look to this LBD. Great dress!!

the quality of the dress is amazing. i'm usually a 40 but sized down based on reviews and availability and it worked out very well. i wore it without a bra and it worked brilliantly. it is a bit snug, but not enough to be uncomfortable or look inappropriate for my meeting. at my height the hem hit the middle/right under my knee so high heels are a must. this just toes the line between being professional and sexy, i would say the female equivalent of a power suit. i would rent this in a heartbeat for any professional event.

This is a beautiful, classy, sophisticated dress. I love it! Although I ended up not wearing it because I got the 46 and it was a little loose around the midsection. I will definitely rent again in a smaller size. I love the length, I'm tall so I love for dresses to come to the knee or slightly below. The peblum hides any pooch you may have around the stomach area.

This dress was beautifully made and I'm sure a size smaller would have fit perfectly, but I had three dresses in my order and I didn't order a back up size in this one. From now on I know I am a size 44 in NR dresses. It was a bit too conservative for my Vegas trip anyway so I didn't ask RTR to overnight the smaller size. If I have another more conservative event like a wedding or work party I definitely plan to rent it again! Beautiful fabric and high quality.

This dress is everything I expected from a Narciso Rodriguez dress. Impeccable tailoring, great fabric, very flattering cut. I am on the smaller end of a size 8 and ordered only the size 8 equivalent since this was my backup dress. I think a size 6 would have fit me better since the charm of the dress is how it shows off your shape. I am not calling it "runs large" because the 8 wasn't very big on me, it's more that it would have been more flattering in a 6. This dress is also versatile. If you need it for an occasion in which you need to be very conservative yet elegant, you can get that look easily. If you want to glam it up or even vamp it up a little bit, it's all about the styling. Great, great dress!

I was really pleased with the quality of the dress, but was unable to wear it because it felt a size too big. I normally wear a 4 so I rented a 42, but this was baggy in all areas, particularly in the waist and hips.

This dress was cut beautifully. It became wrinkled when I was traveling, but looked perfect after hanging it for 1 night. Very flattering silhouette. Dress fabric has no stretch. You can wear any undergarments with this dress.

I really liked this dress. It was in very good condition and the overall fit was great, but runs just a tad on the large side -enough so that I would go one size smaller than what you usually wear. I received plenty of compliments and I felt really comfortable all night. I would definitely wear this again. If you're looking for a flattering, safe dress with room to eat and move around in, this is a good pick.

This dress was nice quality but kinda awkward on. I wanted to love it but I swapped dresses with someone else at the wedding for most of the night. The peplum does not flatter someone with a little belly.

I didn't wear, nor did I order this dress. RTR was kind enough to send this to me as a backup option because the backup size in the dress that I did order was no longer available. I ended up wearing my original choice, but tried this one on in a 2. It seems pretty big for a 2, and it wasn't what I was looking for. Cute dress, but not me, a bit frumpy. Perfect maybe for a very conservative affair.

If you are going to order this make sure it order at least one size smaller than you think you need.

Smallish n the bust but given the smaller size, it might be accurate.
