This dress was amazing and the back was gorgeous! I'm 5'2 and was worried about the length but with 3in heels it was perfect! It also has some give so I was able to dance comfortably:) Everyone kept complimenting me on how fabulous it was. I would definitely recommend this dress! It's a show stopper!

I had gone to the RTR studio in NYC to try on dresses prior to renting for a black tie event. Found this dress and fell in love. It was amazing. I'm usually a size 8 but got a 6 because the 8 was loose in the chest and stomach area. The 6 fit amazing. I am also 5'8 and got the long - worked perfectly with a pair of heels! Thanks RTR!!

After reading reviews I got the smaller size, one size down from usual and it fit great. Probably fits best if you are a girl that can fill it out a bit better than myself, my friend tried it on, similar size but with bigger chest and butt and she looked amazing too. Color is true red, gorgeous, so flattering and I got a million compliments wearing it to a masquerade ball, my boyfriend's jaw dropped. I wore flats that night so the dress was a bit long – but with heels it would've been great. Fantastic thick fabric, zippers and clasps were all solid. I hated taking it off!

The dress fit perfectly! I am a Size 8, sometimes a ten, and I had some concerns on the fit of the dress but once I put the dress on any fears or issues I might have had quickly dissolved. This dress, although form fitting, is very forgiving! It hugs all the right places! I was very comfortable but felt very sexy at the same time! The back is gorgeous! I chose not to wear a bra and was fine. I am pretty tall and with heels I'm about 6ft. tall, the length was perfect. If you want a new take on old Hollywood glam this dress is it! I will certainly try to rent this dress again!

Dress was perfect for a black-tie wedding! It's classy but spunky. I am always guessing my size. With tight dresses I'm usually a 4 and with A-line or poofy dresses I'm a 2. I wore the 40R which fit like a glove. If your body type is similar to mine (small upper body and a little larger in the hip/bum) then get the 40R and use the 42R as backup. I wore close to 4 inch heels and this dress was just grazing the ground. Slight train in the back was a nice touch.

This dress is gorgeous and fits perfect. I wore it for a black tie wedding and for so many compliments on it. I wish, however, that I would have gotten a size smaller than my regular size because it does run a little big.

I ordered the 42L and 46L for my high school prom and was slightly nervous because the 44L was not available but on the designer's size guide I was more of a 4. I am 5'8" and wore 4 inch heels- since the back of the dress is slightly longer than the front it was still a good length since I wasn't tripping over the material, it was barely above the ground. I wore a nu-bra which I love. The material was not too thin, not too thick so it was not heavy at all! The back of this dress is my favorite part! Cons are the neckline was lose and the sides under my arms were lose (can probably be fixed with fashion tape). Walking can be difficult but the mermaid area was super flowy which helped. Yes the straps made my arms hard to move upwards but while dancing and having fun I did not care as much. Overall, I believe this dress fit around my body perfectly and had a great time wearing it!

The dress was beautiful, elegant and classy. I wore it to a black tie wedding at the Four Seasons in Austin. I got compliment after compliment on it. There was one con to the dress, and that is it fit loosely in the stomach, but just ever so slightly. I don't think it was noticeable to others, just to myself. It fit like a glove everywhere else. It was also very comfortable! I would definitely recommend this dress to others.

The dress fit extremely well! This was my first Rent the Runway experience, and I was very pleased with the quality of the dress, how no one at the event had anything like it, and all the compliments I received. This dress is made of material that "moves" with your body and allows for some "stretch" room. I would absolutely recommend this dress to anyone!

I am a size 8 and the size 8 fit me pretty well. I am shorter with curves and felt this dress was forgiving yet flattering. You cannot wear a bra (bc of back) but I wore spanks to smooth out my curves a bit. I'm 5'2 but wore ~5 inch nude heels and length was perfect. Recommend just red lips bc the dress alone is statement enough (not really needing a lot of accessorizing)! Lots of compliments all nite! First rental experience, will def do again!

Dress was stunning! I wish I would have got the 40L to try as well as it fit very well in the top and length but a tad baggy in the hip area (but I don't have hips) Top fit well I was able to wear a low cut back bustier bra and 3 inch heels with no problem. Overall phenomenal dress. Wish I could keep this one!

I ordered this dress as a second dress (outfit change) for my wedding. I was apprehensive about fit but felt relatively confident based on the other reviews that it "should" work on me as well. I had a backup second dress ready in case this one didn't fit. When I received it on Thursday before my wedding and tried it on, I was relieved to find that it wasn't too small, especially because the size up wasn't available as a backup. I ordered the smallest size available (38R) and found it to fit almost perfectly. The waist/hip area could've been slightly more fitted (personal preference). The dress was slightly long even though I'm 5'5" and was wearing 3-4 inch heels. I fixed that problem with some double-sided tape. The cutouts on the arms and back are beautiful details. This dress made me look long and lean. I felt beautiful, sexy, glamorous and elegant all at the same time. Additionally, the dress was super comfortable. The zipper in the back did slip a bit (as other reviewers mentioned) but luckily my girlfriends kept an eye on it for me, so I wasn't too concerned. You can't wear a regular bra (or strapless with this) and so a nu-bra or pasties are the way to go. You can't go wrong with this dress. This dress makes you feel instantly amazing. If I didn't care about being photographed again in the same dress, I would absolutely rent this dress again, in a heartbeat.

I felt like a total bombshell in this slinky red dress. The size was perfect for my curves, and the shape just made me look like Jessica rabbit. The material was thinner than I expected, but it made it easier to dance in at my sorority sister's wedding. Walking up stairs was a bit of a struggle though...

This is THE dress to rent! No bra needed! Perfect fit in every way!!!! Very high end material and turned heads all night long! I have rented this dress multiple times because I love it so much! It is worth the money.

Rented this for a formal event and it was the super-special dress I had hoped it would be. Fit like a GLOVE! I got compliments all night long. My only concern was that there is no eye hook at the top of the zipper so it would occasionally start to come down. I had someone put a safety pin there and it worked great.

The dress fit true to size, but consider going up a size if you have bigger bust. I'm 5'4" and wore 5" heels, and the hem just grazed the ground. The color is amazing- expect a lot of compliments. I wore it to prom, but its versatile enough for any formal event.

This dress is stunning. The fit was perfect - I am a size 6, 141 pounds, 5,6" and the longer length with 4inch heels worked great. The material is a little stretch so the dress is super comfortable. I wore a spanx that goes from under bra to thigh and it could not be seen underneath. I got a lot of compliments and it was really hard to put the dress back in the UPS bag today. Love this dress.

This dress is incredibly well designed. As a tall woman, it is often difficult for me to find a dress that fits well. This one did! So many people at the prom I wore it for said I was the stunner of the evening; I was so thankful to find this dress. The cutouts and neckline are well-placed, and the color is vibrant. It is just as it looks in the picture. I would definitely recommend it, especially for a very formal occasion where you want to stand out from the other girls.

AMAZING DRESS!!!! This dress is a SHOW STOPPER!! I ordered the 40L & 42R originally because the 40R wasn't available. The 40L was a little too big. This dress is supposed to be fitted so I had RTR send me the 38L which fit perfectly! Even the length! I am convinced that I had the 38R and not the 38L because the length was perfect for me with 3 1/2 in heels and I'm only 5' 3.

I rented this for my 40th Birthday Party and it was amazing!! Dresses can be a bit tricky because I'm short and very curvy but this dress was perfectly tailored to hug every curve to the max!! Everyone couldn't stop complimenting me on how amazing I looked. I've never felt more beautiful.

I rented this for a black tie wedding and it was perfect. The fabric is so light (you will need to iron or steam after delivery). The only thing is, the nature of the cut of the dress makes moving your arms up, and your legs apart a bit constricted. Overall, for a 38L, everything was true to size and fit like a glove. Amazing dress, amazing color!

I was scared when I saw the reviews on how the size ran very small but was pleasantly surprised when the dress fit perfectly. Minus the fact i could only wear small heels because the dress was shorter than I imagined. I would recommend this dress to anyone it fits like a glove and is a true stunner. I LOVED this dress!!! WOW! I thought that the 38R would be fine, but am glad that I got the 40R as well. It fit like a glove. I felt like I belonged on the Oscar Red Carpet. My event was a formal fundraiser for a Children's Dental Clinic that I volunteer for. I got raving reviews all night and would highly recommend this dress to anyone looking to feel AMAZING!

This dress doesn't just run big, it runs bigger than any other dress that's been off size-wise. Plenty of room for hips, bigger busts, etc. if needed.

Great dress!! Definitely stood out from all the other dresses in the room. Great color! The 44 was a little big on me in the chest area and mid section but nothing a few safety pins couldn't fix. Also was super stoked about wearing the same dress as Jennifer Aniston from the cover of Vogue. Felt Like a million bucks!

The dress is beautiful and fit me pretty well. It was tight around my ribs, but a little big in the bust and the butt/hips area. I rented both the 38 R&L and ended up wearing the R. I am 5'6" and wore 5in heels and the length was perfect. The fabric wasn't as think as I was expecting, though not a bad thing. My one problem with this dress (and why I gave 4 out of 5 stars) was the zipper in the back. The zipper is exposed and there isn't a hook to stop the zipper from falling down. I had to have friends help me keep it up all night.

My dress fit well everywhere but my bust. I had to add some pads and it was a bit baggy in the waist. Overall I liked it I just wish I had order a smaller size.

This dress fit like a glove! Wore this to a gala I helped put on and I was able to be comfortable, run around helping the bartender and dance it it. It was a little bit long for me but I managed. The caged back is super sexy and the bold red with a matching lip definitely made an entrance. I had so much fun in this dress. The arms may be a little restricting but I honestly don't remember because this was about a year and a half ago. I think it might have been restricting because I needed my boyfriend to help me zip up. But it will hug your curves in the all the right ways. I was nervous the 42R/US 4 wasn't going to fit because the only backup size they had available to send me was the 46R/US 8 and I'm usually a 6. But it felt awesome to be able to fit comfortably in the 4. My bust is usually an issue but it wasn't it this dress. I would recommend this for a fun evening affair.

I loved this dress so much but I did find myself pulling at it a ton. It would ride up and wrinkle constantly, so I'd have to keep pulling it down. Properly placed, though, I loved it!

The only bad this was the zipper I had plenty of run but they didn't have hook to lock the zipper in place so when I was dancing ( we are big wedding dancers) it come in zipped . If ur going to be moving a lot this isn't the dress u want for that event it was great just standing walking around and chatting though

This dress is an A+ in every way. The cut is super flattering, the color is the perfect red and the length in the 38R worked perfectly for me at 5'6" in 4" heels. Hugs your curves but is still very classy and the shoulder cut-outs and back detail make this dress truly exceptional. I wish I owned it!

Even with a holiday weekend and a new hotel address, RTR was able to get me this dress. Unfortunately, after all of that, it was too short to wear... The color however, is magical and the fit is so feminine. I stood taller, felt gorgeous, and looked at myself in the mirror an embarrassing amount of times. I'm 5'8 and can usually get by with a regular fit so as to not have to wear sky high heels... Not the case with this dress, it was about 2 inches too short for flats even. Enjoy!
