I didn't wear this dress because the 6 was too big to wear to a party. I would have worn it like this to a work event, or a tea with family. Comfortable, love to pockets and the statement neckline, but I just wanted something more sexy!

There wasn't nearly as much color fade as is shown, but I loved the built-in jewels. It made accessorizing easier. The length was a bit awkward. I'm 5'7" and wore a size 4 or 6 (can't remember). The length fell in the middle of my knees, not just above the knee as it's supposed to. Overall, it was comfortable and a nice change from what I ordinarily wear.

The wide shoulders and the lighter hem do a lot to help balance bigger hips. The length is also super flattering, it was perfect for an NYC cocktail wedding. The only downside was the condition the dress was in. Hopefully by the time someone else rents it the hole in one of the seams has been repaired and the embroidery snags are cleaned up.
