I am usually anywhere from a 6-10 in dresses and 14L fit perfectly! L is really long (I had to wear 3 inch heels so it wasn't dragging on the ground).

I rented this dress for my wedding reception. I don't have any good pics because I couldn't stay still long enough to take one. This dress is AMAZING! I was complimented all night on how great it looked. The dress is fflowy and the side slit adds just the right amount of sexiness to this fantastic gown. I wish that I could have kept it forever. Renters caution- I got to try this dress on at the showroom before renting. I have a larger ribcage and am a 34 DD. I sized up the dress because it runs a bit small in the ribcage, but then it was large in the bust. Nothing a little fashion tape couldn't fix, but you'll want to be prepared.

As everyone said, there's no stretch at the waist. UK 12 fit just right, true to size. Regular length is fine, grazing the ground in 3 in heels.

I throughly enjoyed wearing the Gypsy Dancer Gown. It runs a little small but ample room on the top for full busted women. The fabric is fabulous, light and sexy. I would definitely rent this dress again and it's worth the $$$.

The dress was gorgeous and really stood out at the formal event I attended. I felt very ethereal with the flowing gown. I was able to chat with a fit stylist who let me know that this runs small so I sized up and it fit pretty well (slightly loose in the chest but not enough to be a problem). The Long is also very long! I am 5'9" and had 4 inch heels and the bottom hem was dragging a bit. I was careful not to let it get stepped on but in a more crowded venue, that might have been an issue. The Rose Lear earrings definitely complimented the dress nicely and were a good suggestion.

This dress definitely runs small and there is absolutely NO stretch in the fabric. I normally wear a 6 and wore the 10!!! SO incredibly beautiful. The colors were absolutely perfect for my event. There was no other dress that even came close!!! I love wearing color in a sea of black. I wore 3 inch heels and the dress hovered just off the ground, I don't like to have my dresses drag on the floor. I changed into flats later in the evening and had to pick the dress up to walk around, which was fine by me!!! Totally worth the $$!!!

It was tight around the rib cage but I was prepared for that, based on other reviews. I wanted the Long but it wasn't available. The regular was too short for my taste with heels, so I changed after the ceremony and wore flat sandals to the reception, which were perfect, and made my feet happy. If you're going to rent this dress, complete the look with the earrings. I think they really pulled everything together! All in all, a fun and easy dress that I was happy with!

I rented this dress to wear to the Indian wedding of my brother in law. I didn't want to wear a Sari, rather a long modern, colorful, dress and this was so beautiful! Except that I ordered the wrong size. I wasn't paying attention when placing the order and chose a size L which is Long. I'm a shorty so this was way too long but fit well everywhere else. I wasn't able to wear it to the wedding because of the length but it was my wedding anniversary the day before the wedding so my hubby and I made good use of the rental and had a couples photo shoot! It was perfect for that! I will definitely rent the regular length again for sure! LOVED it!

The fit was way too large in the bust and waist area. There is a slit along the side that, if a breeze catches you, will let everyone see your undies. It goes up way too high. The fabric is rather cheap feeling as well. The colors were it's one redeeming factor really. I'm sad I have to give this dress a thumbs down; I really wanted to love it.

I'm 5'10 and 160 pounds and I LOVED this dress. I've never worn a long gown that was perfect.I loved how long it was and the colors were absolutely beautiful. I wore heals and the length was still amazing. Perfect for showing off the amazing slit. I received compliments all evening. The only piece I didn't particularly like was the strap for neck. I thought It was a little awkward so I tucked it. Other than than I highly recommend this gown.

I'm 5'6" & wore 4" heels - long was TOO long and dragged on the floor. But, the 14R was too big. As it was, the 12L was a little roomy in the bust and I'm a 34DD. Would rent again one size smaller. Loved the dress & received many compliments all night.

I am a Brit living in a America, and while I am very familiar with UK sizing, this dress without doubt ran very small and rather long (I am 5"8 and the long brushed the ground with 4 inch heels on). It took me and two friends quite some effort to get the zipper up around my rib cage, and I am not especially big. That said, when it was up it fitted perfectly and was a fab dress. The material is fantastic - it looks and is high quality. It was great to dance in - I just grabbed the excess and flipped it round. The colors are very vivid and the slit was a nice touch. Only reason why I didn't give this five stars was that without two friends to help me zip up the dress there was no way I could of worn it!

The dress runs really small, and if you have any kind of cleavage it will be hard to fit them into the dress. It was beautiful but I couldn't wear it.

Couldn't zip up in the bust area. No give in the top area although it looks like an elastic waist. This was a replacement dress sent for another Matthew Williamson dress ordered.
