A great dress. I got lots of compliments.

I wore the 8 but it was a bit snug and I would have been more comfortable in the next size up. The fabric has no stretch to it and I couldn't lift my arms all the way up because of the cut. I'm not tall, but it was a good length. I was also a little disappointed in the dress quality. I could tell it had been wore many times because it had some pulls and strings. Nothing that noticeable but I was expecting it to be in better shape.

I'm so "Peacock" fancy

I wore this dress to a fall outdoor wedding and got so many compliments! The blue and metallic peacock bodice is very classy but trendy, and the lace sleeves give it a sexy finish. I'm about the same height as the model, so I was very worried about the length, since it looks so short on her. I ordered the largest size to compensate, and it actually fell right above my knees, which was great. However, it was a little loose. The next size down was not available, so I made it work. It is cut to hug your curves a bit, but the large size hung on me more like a shift dress. I think a belt would also look great to help cinch in the waist, but I decided to go without.

It was a great night where I got great compliments and felt comfortable!

I felt like it was a good, modern, youthful dress. It also is extremely comfortable so you can dance, move around, etc.

Great Dress!

LOVED this dress! the color is much prettier in person, with a beautiful shear look to it. The sleeves are great (a bit on the tight side, but I have very tiny/skinny arms so it fit perfect). Length was just right. It is a bit snug in the mid section region, so If you aren't sure which size you might be, I would size up. I would definitely recommend this dress!

Loved it!

I was worried about the sleeves being too tight since there is no stretch in the lace, but they were perfect. I received a ton of compliments!

Wasn't what I was expecting, but still a gorgeous dress

This dress is much darker in person, more of a dark turquoise green than a "slate blue," and more gold metallic than silver metallic. I had sent my friends photos of the dress from this site and again when I received it, and they could not believe it was the same dress. It was not what I was expecting, but it worked! I got a lot of compliments on it. The lace is very delicate and the sleeves are fitted. There was a small hole in the arm when I received the dress, but it wasn't noticeable. The length was perfect, but I'm petite (5'1", 96 lbs, 32B). I have no hips, so the area where the dress curves out was a bit roomy for me.

Pretty and stylish, but ran large.

I ordered this as my back-up dress for a wedding. It was unique and elegant, but ran large in the hips and midsection. The dress is also darker than pictured, but it wasn't really an issue. I ordered UK sizes 10 and 12 worrying that they would be too small (I'm petite in the upper half, but curvy from the hips down), but it was quite the opposite. The size 10 was so big that I didn't even try the 12. I would recommend sizing down for this dress. On the upside, however, the lace sleeves are stretchy and giving, so they won't cut off the circulation in your arms and will stretch with you (something I always worry about)!

Helped me nail it and feel fun and fashionable at a fancy NYC cocktail with fashion types.

Great dress. Great fabric and the slightly shiny bodice plus the lace sleeves really add great details. Fun cocktail party dress that really stood out in NYC at a high fashion event. Got lots of compliments. I'm short and it was fairly 'mini' on me - on taller women I could imagine it would be super short. Very flattering and sexy on my petite frame. Also, I wore the size 6 which really fit well - usually I wear 0 or 2 (petite) but I guess this was sized up because 6 was the smallest size avail and was perfect on me.

I'm in my mid/almost late 20s and it made me look 10yrs older, but good for a reserved event.

Sleeves were a little long for me, but I have short arms. The dress fit well and I have pretty big hips (40'') and small waist (24'') so it's hard to get the size just right, but it hugged well.

Somewhat disappointing

I really wanted to like this dress, but it did not flatter my figure at all. It was tight on the bust and very loose on the waist. The lace sleeves did not compliment the dress pattern one bit and were somewhat ill-fitting. Not Matthew Williamson's best design.

Amazing print

This dress was really gorgeous in person and I really wanted to love it, but the fit was a bit odd. Perhaps it's just not suited to my body type and would look better on someone much more straight and narrow. The size 10 fit well everywhere else, but was a bit snug in the hips. I opted to wear the 12 so I wouldn't be yanking it down all evening. However the 12 was just a bit too large all over, especially in the shoulders and bust. It still looked good, but I was expecting great.

Way too big

This dress is much darker in person, but still really pretty. Unfortunately this dress runs really large, especially in the hip/leg area and it was so large I could not wear it. I would recommend it, but highly suggest sizing down one or two sizes!

Beautiful but sz 0 is too short. Had to return!

I am 5'7" and the size 0 fit me everywhere but was much much too short for me. I did not feel comfortable, and this was way unexpected based on some of the other reviews I read which said the dress was longer than it appears on the website model . Also, the general condition of the dress was the worst I have ever experienced from RTR (the lace on the sleeves is delicate), seems like this one should be considered for retirement.

Not for me..

I rented this as my back-up dress for a Christmas party. It is british sizing, so the size 14 is really a US size 8. It was super short, for one thing. The sleeves were gorgeous and not too tight. The weird thing was (and I don't know if this is just because its a British-sized dress), the hip area ran really large! It kind of poufed out from my hips in a strange way that was not flattering. I chose to go with my original dress. Overall, the fit was really awkward on my body type.

I wore the other dress!

I didn't get to even try this dress on because the sizing was European and I received a 10 and 12 European instead of a 4, 6 US. It is a very cool dress but make sure if you order it, you are certain of the size you order!
