This skirt fits somewhat true to size, maybe a little on the small size. (Definitely runs larger than Marchesa's couture collection.) I would size up for a back-up size. It is very long, so if you are short, if may not be the look you are going for, but it was great for my height. I love the lace detailing and the navy color is perfect for a winter event--try pairing it with a sweater, like I've done. I would suggest it for a cocktail party or a nice holiday soiree.

Easy to wear!

I wore this skirt for my engagement party and got so many compliments! The original skirt I requested wasn't available, so RTR sent this one instead. I was hesitant since it was part of a 2-piece outfit but it looked awesome. I have a larger bottom half and the skirt was high enough by my navel and fit over my bottom. The fabric is not lenient and it was difficult to do stairs. The navy was a beautiful shade. Definitely would recommend!

The top fit true to size, though I wish it was slightly more cropped. The skirt runs long and is a little hard to walk quickly in because it's quite tapered. I still liked how I felt in it though. You get to Channel your inner Mad Men in it!

The fit was wonderful, it sat right where I wanted it. I had read reviews that it was hard to walk in, but it was perfect. It was slimming, and the material was beautiful. I got compliments all night on this outfit.

As a tall person, finding a lady-like hem length is a challenge. This skirt was great.

Loved the two pieces as a different option than a dress. I wore a smaller size on top and could even have worn a 2 if I had selected that option. Between the 4 and 6 he 4 was a better fit. I would say the top runs slightly small and the skirt true to size. Loved the fit and fabric. Very subtle black band at the collar with a tiny bit of embellishment. Very good quality. Loved the navy as an alternative to black.

The skirt is a bit past the knee, which is great for work, but because it is tapered and has a short slit, it isn't possible to take big steps while walk. Being tall, it was a bit stifling.

Gorgeous skirt. Everything about it was fantastic except that it was hard to walk in. I had to pull it up a bit when I was walking, but it wasn't a huge inconvenience. I would rent it again!

I rented this skirt for my son's baptism in DC in December. It's a classic look that I paired with a light gray sweater and pearls. I wore one size up than my usual size because I was only a few weeks post-partum but it fit very well. I wish I could have kept it because I haven't found another skirt like it.
