This is a perfect cocktail dress. I wore it for a formal affair and felt that the unique design elevated it enough for the formal affair. The size is perfect and it is flattering all around.

The waist was a pretty tight fit but not to the point of being uncomfortable. Material wasn't stretchy but it was easy to move and/or dance in. Highly recommend!

I rented this for my cousin's wedding in October, cocktail attire. The color was a bit more berry than I originally thought, but I loved it even more because of that! The dress fit perfect, felt great! The peplum was perfect to flatter my mommy tummy, and I felt super confident setting or dancing.. without having to suck in! Haha! The dress got compliments all evening! Would definitely rent again!

The fit was perfect for my hourglass figure. I ordered the 10 and a size 12 as backup. I am a 34DD so I wore the 12 to accommodate the bust and give me a little more room in hips. The arms of the dress have a little stretch but the rest is not as stretching. I felt the dress runs a little small. I typically wear an 8 or 10. Tons of compliments and easy to dance in.

I picked it for a summer outside wedding - not a good pick... It's better for fall season or if you can be in air conditioning.

May want a strapless bra, since straps can show in the front. Can be difficult to zip at the empire waist because of the extra fabric in that part of the dress. The dress is a bit more plum than it looks in the photos, but it is still amazing. Looks great with a cuff bracelet in a contrasting color.

Nicely tailored, well-made dress with just the right combination of clean, tailored lines suitable for a business event and pretty, feminine details and a festive feel. Very comfortable to wear. I wore a bra with clear straps so they wouldn't show through the partly see-through top. The color was more cranberry-ish than it appears in the RTR picture.

Slimming dress, stretchy, and so unique and delicate. The detail is so stunning and you can' t really tell in photos. Both men and women loved this dress. It is a bit more pink than red but the color was stunning. I really can't get over the lace on this and it was a perfect dress to dance in as well. Breathed easy. Felt great and sophisticated in this and definitely recommend for a fall/winter affair. Paired with nude pumps and gold jewelry.

I highly recommend this dress!!! It's so elegant with a touch of sexy. The dress isn't as red as it looks in the picture there is a slight pick undertone making it more ruby, this was in the dress description though. It hit right above my knees so it was the perfect length. The material has some stretch in it so it was very comfortable for sitting and dancing. The skirt portion is a bit sheer, you could kind of see through it in the sun but nothing noticeable. I didn't need a slip. I also didn't wear a bra and the dress was fine for that too. The sleeves were a little loose on my arms, the fabric didn't hug them but it didn't look weird. I usually wear 2's so I would order your normal suez and then one down. Overall this is my most favorite dress I've rented to date!!!

The cut is stunning and the detail on this dress is exquisite. It's classy elegance with a hint of edgy style. Perfection, really. I wore this to an evening wedding and it was perfect for the changing season. The only surprise to me was the tint -- it's a purplish maroon. Overall, this dress is one of the most beautiful, delicate dresses I've worn.

Rented this for a Valentine's Day party. It was very pretty and I received lots of compliments. Close up photo shows the lace work. Definitely need a strapless bra with this one. I usually wear a zero but it was a little snug over the waist so I sized up for comfort. Definitely get the back up size one larger than normal. Would be a great choice for a holiday party.

This dress was a beautiful color - more fuschia in person than it appeared in the pictures. It was cute comfortable for dancing.

Good fit, nice length - hit me above the knee but not too short. Was perfect for a holiday party with sparkly silver shoes. Shows quite a bit of cleavage so if you are busty, I'd avoid for a professional event.

Beautiful dress. I wore it with a standard flesh colored bra. You can see it in pictures but it wasn't really noticeable in person. The fit was great, but it was just a tad short when you sit. There is no stretch to the fabric. I did not have to wear spanx thankfully. The peplum detail looks really nice and is long enough to hide your stomach. It was a great dress and I got lots of complements. The dress is more wine colored than maroon.

I am typically between a size 2 or 4 and both fit, but I opted for the 4 for a little more room and more comfort overall. I'd say the fit is as expected. The dress really accentuates all the right places. The detail in the lace is so pretty in person! More of a purple/deep pink tint to the dress vs just red or dark red, very pretty color!

As others mentioned, it's more in the purple family. Great fit. Lots of compliments. The 10 would have fit perfect but the zipper was stuck. Disappointed but the 12 worked fine. Would rent again.

I wore this dress do a day time ceremony in a Catholic church. I wanted something thay stood out but was still conservative. The color was bold and beauitful, the fit was great, and the peplum accented my curves just right. One thing to note, I could not zip this by myself, needed help.

I ended up wearing the 4, the size I ordered, mostly due to the length so that it would be knee length since I wasn't wearing hose or tights. The color is stunning. I received so many compliments while wearing this dress. I have a little extra weight around my midsection after having a baby and this dress was perfect as it kind of cinched me in but also the peplum covered it without adding bulk. The sleeves were not too tight and felt perfect for a mid October evening in the midwest.

Loved this dress! I received compliments all night. This is a dress I wish I owned to wear over and over. I thought I would need the 8, but 10 fit wonderfully. Very flattering and the color is a rich berry, not red not pink. Perfect for a November wedding with a jacket. I wore black open toe ankle strap heels and pearls.

I really loved this dress. It was very well made and I got compliments on the fabric. The stock picture makes the dress look like it's cranberry, when in actuality, it's more of a fuchsia color, maybe with a slight purple tint. I'm a curvy 12 and this fit my body like a glove in the best possible way. I'm 5'6 - and the dress hit about mid-thigh, so it's a little bit "mini" especially when I sat down. Overall, I recommend and would wear this again!

Great fit, maybe runs just a tick small so it was very fitted but I felt comfortable in it all night. Had to wear a strapless bra because my other one showed through at the shoulders with the lace. Sexy, fun dress, I received a lot of compliments on it and would buy it if I could. I'm 5'7", 160 lbs with an hourglass shape and 36DD. For some reason that won't come up in the About You part.
