This dress was everything I could have ever asked for. As my first RTR experience, I can say that I am completely satisfied. I originally ordered the 10 and 12 because I have recently lost 30 pounds and really had no idea what my size was, but based on the reviews (and my warped image of myself), I figured I would be a 10. The dresses arrived, and I tried the 10 on first and it was WAY too big... apparently I had lost more weight than I thought!! So, I called immediately and the representative at RTR immediately shipped me a 6 and 8 overnight. They arrived the day of my event (with a bit of UPS drama) and I tried the 8 on, but it was still a bit too big, so I tried the 6 on and it was PERFECT. I actually started crying because I had never in my life worn anything less than a 10 (except maybe in childhood). I went with the 6 and added the accessories I had picked to go with it. I received many compliments and felt so amazing. Pros: Very well made, sturdy stitching, hits perfectly on the waist for hourglass. Cons: The bottom is made of a different, stretchy material that will show everything, so I felt the need to wear tights (other people might opt for spanx). Overall, this was an amazing experience- I didn't want to send the items back!! ;)

I rented this dress for one if my best friends' wedding rehearsal dinner at an upscale restaurant and it was perfect for the occasion. I received so many compliments about how beautiful this dress is that night and even the next day at the wedding! I chose the size I wore based on how it fit in the chest and the hips. It was form fitting in the hips, but the fabric has enough stretch that it is comfortable and sexy! I could not wear a standard bra, but a strapless worked well, and you could also probably do a racerback bra. I'd absolutely recommend this dress!

The dress fit great and was very comfortable. There was enough room in the bust and the bottom section was strechy. I thought the leather trim detail was fun and edgy, but the dress was still nice enough for a casual wedding. Great for fall / winter.

got the 6 and 4, the 4 was more form fitting but, was tight around the bust and was very hard to zipper. The 6 was UBER comfortable. The skirt fabric is textured like something I have never felt before with cute detail that you can see in the pics. I wish I could own this.

Loved the overall dress. Fit well in the waist and bust. The arm holes were a little tight but that would be my only complaint. Wore this to Directors Guild Event Party and to work before that because I didn't have time to change. Very appropriate for both occasions.

Overall a good dress but I did notice that the zipper puckered out at the back like other reviewers have mentioned. The top is constructed of heavy material and the bottom is lighter fabric. The trim around the neckline and sleeves was a great touch. There was more room in the bust area than I needed.

Overall, I liked this dress. I loved the top bodice part, and the bottom skirt part was ok. The colorful top looked great in person but only showed up in photographs with a flash or in really bright light. The skirt however was just "blah" to me. It's very thin, stretchy material that hugs your body. That part was ok, but it was just such a departure from the structured, almost thick fabric of the top, it felt weird and maybe a little cheap in comparison. Also, there's a weird notched part in he front of the skirt. nothing wrong with it, just a little odd. As for fit, I went with my normal size (4) and sized up for the alternate. I could have worn either one but went with the smaller one on principle if nothing else :) The skirt was a little less tight on the larger size but I couldn't really tell. Maybe if you wanted a bit longer skirt, going a size up would help. I'm 5'5 so it wasn't too short on me. The waist does nip in a bit, so if you're wide at the waist you may want to size up.

I didn't like the dress. The top half was too big in the 4 but felt better in the arms. The 2 fit but rode up so I tried the 4. Not much better. The 4 also bunched just as much as the 2 so I opted to size up because the arm holes felt tighter in the 2. The bottom half is a stretchy material which doesn't look like the picture at all. It needs to be thicker on the bottom or have some kind of facing to thicken up the structure of the dress. I'm hourglass so I feel like I should have been able to wear it. It bunches in odd places and I had to keep pulling it down all night. I wore a black leather jacket to help hide some of the flaws. Do not recommend.

The dress fit perfectly. I wore it with tights since this event was on a cold evening. The rainbow doesn't show through as much as I had hoped, but it's still very cute.

Not the best photo but it was a FABULOUS dress. The fit was perfect and the shape was extremely flattering making my waistline look tiny. I received a lot of compliments! The detail of the dress doesn't show up well in the photo, but I loved the splash of color. It was also very comfortable! I'm about 5'7" and this dress hit me a few inches above the knee, which was awesome because I didn't want anything super short. The leather detail around the arms and neck did get a tiny bit hot once we were dancing but that's to be expected. I wore this for a bachelorette party and loved that I had something that was different than your average "little black dress."

Everyone loved the rainbow underlay. It very subtle and beautiful. Fit was great. However, the zipper is so tricky (it takes a lot to get it past the "belt" area) that I was worried I wouldn't be able to wear it. Overall great RTR experience and I will definitely rent again!

I wore the size 4, which Im pretty much always a size 4 in dresses. Im large chested (32ddd) so it was nice to have a silhouette still without showing everything. And being 5'9 it was seriously the perfect length for a gala/wedding. The skirt part of the dress is thinner but I liked that it was clingy, it made it sexier while staying classy. I also think the colors in real life is prettier than in photos. (And you may need help with the zipper its a beast!)

I actually wasn't sure if I was going to like this dress and was a little nervous about it. I rented it for a charity auction dinner and needed something somewhat conservative yet classy and stylish. I took the chance on this dress and I'm glad I did - it was actually one of the most comfortable dresses I've worn, and it was quite flattering. I had read in other reviews that the skirt was stretchier than expected, so I was not surprised to find that the bottom was not totally structured. I suppose spanx or body shapers would make this more comfortable for some, but it was also thick enough material that I didn't have a problem with it making me look lumpy or bumpy. The top has no give, so keep that in mind. I am not large chested and I had plenty of room up there - in fact I think I could have ordered this dress in a 4 and been comfortable. I think it is somewhere between running true to size and running a bit large. The zipper was difficult to get past the leather band at the waist but that was no big deal. The colors in the top are actually very pretty and they pop in person, but I tried taking photos in various lighting, and was unable to get a photo where they really showed up. I think this dress looks better in person than it photographs for that reason. Love this dress and would wear it again!

This dress fit perfectly. I received lots of comments. Some said it looked like the dress was made for me. This was nice to hear since I am an athletic build and need to go up a size in dresses for my shoulders which usually means dresses are too large in the hips. Full coverage up top with the higher neckline, but still short enough to be sexy (and sophisticated). For reference, I'm 5'7" around 140 with an athletic body type. I usually wear size 4 pants, size 6 dress.

I absolutely loved this dress. The pop of bright color on top makes it a unique LBF. It fit snug, but had a thicker material that was very flattering. I would not recommend for big chests as it was tight up top. Highly recommend for a wedding or night out!

This dress fit great, the bottom has stretch to it and the leather waist wasn't tight at all, the zipper stuck a lot though so I needed to be very careful!

This dress is stretchy and colorful enough and I wore it to a bachelorette party in Miami for a night of dancing. It's not too short and very comfortable! The leather and lace accents kick it up a notch.

I actually got this dress for FREE for my birthday from RTR. I was so happy to receive it and it was so comfortable for my birthday dinner. I have rented several times and I really liked this dress. I picked it because it was FULLY LINED. I didn't want to be itchy all night. The color at the top is beautiful, more than a photo can show. Stretches for hips, and you can wear a full set of spanx and a bra if you want to!

The top was a little loose and the bottom fits very body con, so if you are short it tends to ride up a little bit. Overall I didn't want to give it back!

I ordered a size 2 and 4. The waist of the 2 was a little tight but fit my hips and bust perfectly. The size 4 wasn't as snug in the waist but was too loose in the bust so I went with the 2. I wore it to a wedding in Newport Beach and got so many compliments! I loved the chromatic color of the top and the leather trim. The skirt was perfect length and super stretchy. I wish I could have kept the dress for myself!

the waist is super tight and does not stretch at all. For a size 6 you need to have a waist of about 28 inches to be comfortable.

This was a great alternative to a plain LBD, perfect for a fall wedding! The leather trim was not very forgiving so it felt a little tight at times. The bottom part of the dress is stretchy, so it makes it a little more fitted. I would rent again!

I wore this dress to my friends' bachelorette party. I loved how the dress looked on me. The fit was a bit difficult. I had a baby 2 months prior and I am still working on getting back to my original figure. My normal size is a 4, but I still have a little mid-section fluff going on. It took my mom 15 minutes to get this dress zipped. My husband couldn't do it at all! The problem is that the middle section, where the material changes is much tighter than the rest of the dress. there is little to no wiggle room. The bottom fit wonderfully because the material was stretchy. The top actually had extra space and I am a size D bra. The waist was pretty tight on me all night long, but I managed to wear it without any major problems, If you have some middle fluff it's a tough fit. That being said, I really loved the look of the dress. Very cute, with subtle coloring up top!

Loved this dress!! Very comfortable all night and no risk of the slit exposing anything when you sit since it's actually stitched. Paired it with plain black pumps and didn't worry about jewelry. Two "complaints" about the dress, however.... 1) Like other renters have said, the zipper was REALLY tough to get up. I ended up spinning it around backwards so the zipper was in front to work it over the leather part since even my husband couldn't get it to zip when I had it on normally. 2) Not obvious, but there was significant wear to the leather on the underarms. Didn't affect my ability to wear the dress, but I was disappointed after the great quality I've gotten from RTR in the past.

I was very satisfied with this dress. The fit was very close to an actual 4, and left a tiny bit of room (which was appreciated after dinner). The fabric was very unique, and I had no problem with the zipper as some other renters have mentioned. I would definitely recommend this dress to anyone!
