Not too fancy. Not to casual. Just right! I'm 5'3" so the dress was still a smidge too long in me with medium heels. The buttons were gapping in the chest area because I'm breastfeeding. I wore a sports bra underneath and that made it a little better. But something to keep in mind for those ladies with bigger busts.

I'm 5.8 and the length of the dress was perfect for me! I liked the pattern and material, although it felt a little tight on my chest and my arms. Overall it is a great outfit for summer weekend

Pros: fun print, unique, to sofcompliments. Con: I'm 5'3" and it was about 3 in too long without heels.

You will likely want to wear this with a belt as it was fairly loose around the waist for me. I thought it was very cute! I am 5'5" and flats were the only option for me. The dress was not long enough for even a small wedge.

I wore with sandals and it just hit the floor. I also added a belt just to break up the dress. I wore a tank under because the top is shear but loved that the bottom had a built in slip. I think it looks better in person! I wore it to work and then to my sister white coat ceremony, got tons of complements!!!!!

Perfectly comfortable dress for a nice brunch then wine festival. I'm 5'6, 122 lbs and the length was perfect on the size 4. Very comfortable for all day wear!

I wore this dress for 3 different events and received so many compliments! I'm 5'7" and the size 2 was the perfect length/size. Size 4 was about the same length but was a little looser in the bust/shoulders. I loved the flowy fabric. I'd recommend a belt to complete the outfit. I didn't have issues with button gaping but I'm a 32A. I would definitely rent again.

Fits snug across the chest but otherwise normal. The colors are great and adding a belt really accentuates the waist. Would definitely rent again.

I love a good shirt dress and this didn't disappoint. I'm pretty tall and had to wear heels though, so keep that in mind if you rent this. Great transitional spring dress. Really like that weight fabric. I wore a camisole underneath as the top isn't lined. However, there is a knee-length lining on the bottom. If it wasn't so pricey, I would have kept it. Good for everyday or for a nicer occasion out.

Loved this dress! Sorry I only had a waist up pic! I belted it with a skinny brown belt and it was fab. Only thing was that it was not that long. I had to wear flats with it and I'm 5'9. -Leslie

I absolutely loved this dress. I got a belt at TJ maxx to go with it and it made the look. Perfect for weekend brunches, paired with a jean jacket or just on its own. Highly recommend a belt if some sort, however. Only draw back: not enough room in the chest! I ended up not wearing it open like the pic, but pinned the gap instead ( it was fine across my back ). I'm renting while I'm losing some lbs or I would've kept this dress ! Will rent again for an upcoming wine trip.

This dress is every easily dressed up or down, simply with your attitude (or accessories). Worn to work then later for drinks, again on a date. I wore a bright bandeau under it one day because the buttons didn't quite line up for me without a small safety pin. At night I just wore it low cut. As a tall girl the fact that it could reach the full length of my ankles made me feel like a goddess, oh and this is in flat green sneakers that still tied in with the colors. Perfect weight for summer, look forward to wearing again and seeing what else this brand has to offer.

I wore this dress to a wedding rehearsal dinner. It was perfect for a warm, breezy night on the water in Lake Tahoe. The dress fit the occasion and place! I received so many compliments. I ordered a size 0 and 2. I usually wear a 2, but went with the 0. It fit really well. I could wear with flats or heels.

I'm a bottom-heavy gal, and this dress flattered my figure. I added a thin belt to enhance my shape. The fabric is thin without showing every lump and bump. I'm 5'7' and can wear it with flat sandals, although it comes close to dragging the ground. Also some gapping up top. All and all, perfect flair for a hot summer day!

i rented this for everyday wear and liked it so much that i took it on my trip to italy! it is such a perfect spring maxi with the sleeves. i think it was supposed to come with a belt because it had loops for one, but since it did not a used a skinny camel colored belt instead. the dress was a little tight in my arms, but most dresses with no stretch are. it was the perfect length with 3 inch wedges. i am definitely considering buying this one!

Looking for that easy soho-cool dress to pair with your Frye's and wide brim hat? Found it! This dress is exactly the one you need to go with that look. I'm 5'6", and a 3" heel did the trick. I found the dress ran a bit large, so I would size down for your back up. If you have a little baby bump, size up. The dress is non-stretch, but does have an elastic waist for easy wear and comfort. The sleeves have the perfect amount of ease and hit just above the elbow. Of course, the dress is standard bra friendly, which we all love.

I kind of loved this dress. It was super easy to wear. Like most reviewers, I do think a belt made a huge difference. It does run a little long but even at 5' 4" I was able to wear it with flats. I wore it to work and daytime musical performance with wedges and then threw on Birkenstock's for some casual running around town and a lunch date with friends. I now regret sending it back, so I may try and rent again with plans to purchase.

Very cute dress, more lightweight and flowy than I had expected. This ran small for me. No where near able to button up the bust and the arms were a little tight.

Small busts would work best. Too button opened a couple times due to carrying a bag. Light fabric for summer but wasn't sheer. Received some nice compliments throughout the day.

I loved the pattern and shape of this dress, although it did run a little long and I felt it needed a belt. It was exactly what I wanted for a slightly-less-than-casual look.

This dress is wonderful and worth renting, but here are a few important notes. The fabric is lightweight, doesn't wrinkle, and the pattern is beautiful. Great for travel. The attached slip is the perfect length and doesn't get in the way. The dress is long. Granted, I'm 5'3" but usually with 3 inch heels, a maxi dress will work. This one is a little longer. The material is light enough that it was fine to have it hit the ground. The waist has no stretch. This helps to hold the structure, but would be a problem if your waist is not small. A thin belt really helps with the shape of this dress (not included, but almost every reviewer chose to wear one). Bust is also small. I wore a cami with top buttons open in Napa, partially for warmth and partially because the buttons gape. I am a B/C cup, so this was unusual for me. I still really loved this dress! Also wore to work and got tons of compliments! If you're tall, consider sizing up.

This dress is lovely and I received a lot of compliments, although it didn't quite fit as I'd hoped. The bottom was slightly too long for my 5'4" frame, and the hips were surprisingly wide, which I'm not sure I've ever experienced as a curvy gal. The buttons allow for the dress to peek open down the entire length of the dress, which also adds to the lack of comfort. All of that said, it is quite nice.

Fit perfect. Material felt cheap/polyester but it was perfect for travel as zero wrinkles. Feminine shape without being too girlie. Front button gapes a little so I don't think it would work on a bigger bust size.

With the exception of the bust, fit great. I'm a 36D, rented a size 6, and couldn't button over the chest area but wore a tank underneath and voila! I'm also only 5'3" but with a simple 2 inch platform the length was good to go! Tons of compliments.

The dress is a bit long and needed heels to walk in it comfortably. It also did not come with a belt and needs to be worn with a belt in my opinion, otherwise the waste is ill defined. The top is a little loose-fitting so I wore a camisole underneath it and kept the top few buttons open. Overall the dress hangs nicely and has a flowy weight to it. I would rent this dress again!

This is a pretty maxi dress but if you're anything less than 5'-5" you'll need to belt it. The waist and sleeves were quite fitted, but that was a nice contrast to the flowy bottom half. I did wear summery sandal flats - so heels would probably help with the length. Fabric is a bit synthetic-y, but has great drape. Pattern very stylish and boho. Buttons up the front skirt allows you to really show some leg if you want. Overall a nice dress and the reason I only gave it 4 stars is b/c of the length.....

Loved this maxi dress and got several compliments while wearing it but the buttons did gap in the front. Not bad if you're just standing but noticeable if you're seriously moving or sitting. I wore this on a trip up to Santa Cruz so I solved that issue by throwing a sweatshirt over it (got compliments on it as a skirt!) and then wore it to work with an apron over the front. The colors and fabric weight were wonderful!

Yogis & crossfitters beware this was tight in the arms and shoulders so you can't be too buff.
