Normally I would wear a size 27 because I have a fuller backyard than many women who wear a size 4. However I rolled the dice and followed the advice of other reviewers and ordered down a size so the natural waist would be closer to my own and I relied on the stretch of the material to work on my backyard and thighs -- it worked. I paired these jeans with the Madeline cardigan by Tory Burch -- judge the pairing for yourself.

These are very soft and comfy. Lots of give. I have rented them twice.

These pants are very stretchy and I found them true to size. Not tight at all in the waist (needed a belt). But cute in the butt!

These are never leaving my closet. They run a little small but have tons of stretch. Great length. Good for skinny legs.

I love mother denim and these fit great, however I failed to notice the tiger print on the back. Cute, but not my style.

These pants were great basic black pants. I got my normal size 26 which fit however very easily stretched out during the day making the outfit look sloppy. Maybe sizing down would help. The pants are very cute with the tiger accent on the back and would have definitely been a purchase.

Like many other reviewers said, these pants are fantastic. They fit great and are stretchy. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because they gave me a bit of a muffin top. I still wore them and loved them. The waist band is snug enough to hold the pants up well, without digging in and being uncomfortable. However, I had to wear them with a loose fitting top because it gave me a stomach roll. If these came in a super high rise waist, they'd be literally perfect.

These fit pretty good and looked flattering. The only issue is they were way too long however I was able to fold under for a custom length very easily.

Such good jeans. The perfect amount of stretch. Slightly longer on me but made it easier to tuck into boots in winter. And the tiger! Cool, eye-catching detail, especially when going out to place where most girls wear simple black jeans.

Really nice fit and high waste. The tiger on the back was fun for a few wears however eventually felt weird wearing them again since the tiger id so memorable and I just wanted a plain pair of black high waster skinny jeans.

Same Mother fit and quality (which I love), jazzed up with the leopard painting on the left hip.

I suggest going up a size if you're in-between. I almost always wear size 27 and occasionally 28, and the 28 fit perfectly. I love how low the pockets are in the butt - so if you're curvy, this will be very flattering and slimming. The leopard detail is really cool if you decide to show it off. I'm going to buy these!

The cheetah detail made my usual New York uniform of black on black much more fun. They were a bit looser in the waist than I would have liked but not terribly so.

First and foremost, if you rent these jeans for no other reason, the tiger on the waist should be the selling point. It's super adorable. These jeans are really comfortable, and I think will be even better next time when I size up one. I wanted to wear these to an event and had to go with the 26 because the 27 was gone, and they were fine, but there is little to no stretch, which made them a bit uncomfortable after a few hours. tl;dr: cute everyday jeans, will rent again

Very comfortable and super-stretchy. The leopard on the back was a winner. My NYC pals loved these pants. My conservative boyfriend did not.

These run TRUE TO SIZE. I ordered up and they were baggy. Sadly, I returned them unworn.

I love mother and the leopard on the back pocket really took plain black jeans up a notch. Unfortunately these were way too long and I had to roll them under several inches.

I usually wear a size 10, size 12 in Mother denim. This size 12 was far too small to even think about getting buttoned around my hips and didn't quite qualify for high rise. I do not have this problem with other Mother denim that I own!
