Very tight! But really provided a nice shape and very flattering

Based on reviews I sized up in these which was the right move; may want to consider sizing up 2 sizes. Even with sizing up the waist was tight. Color wash was great however the jean material is not soft at all - it is a very stiff and thick denim so no give. These fit me like a straight leg jean and not a skinny ankle fit.

Sat at my belly button. Waist runs VERY small, I'm typically a 27, the 28 barely zipped and left an imprint around my waist! Plenty of room elsewhere so best for people with smaller waists! Still fairly comfortable, loved the thicker material, loved the length, felt they looked slimming on me.

I followed the reviews which were accurate to size down. The the material is sturdy and snug in the right places. My legs and hips looked thinner than normal. Good pair of jeans that hold their shape.

These jeans are fantastic. I've wanted to try this brand and this was perfect without having to purchase. When I opened them I saw the waste and thought there was no way they would fit but they were actually perfect. Highly recommend. Keep in mind - very tight.

These pants were dark and obviously high quality. I wore them several times and kept them for weeks. The only reason I returned them is because I am on a weight loss journey and they became to big for me.

I didn't want to send them back. High quality dark colored jean that are worth it.

The material is very stiff, I wore it all day and it did not loosen up. So when I’m standing they looked hot, but I legitimately was tender on my lower abdomen the next day from all the sitting on the floor I did (I have small kids) and eventually had to change.

Will need to size up one, but can tell it's a good fit.

I really liked these jeans; they had the feel of a quality pair of French-made denim in a classic cut. The shape of the cut definitely puts restrictions on curves, particularly as these are not stretchy. I quite appreciated this minor detail as not every outfit works with a super curvy lower half. These jeans helped my hourglass figure achieve a more narrow silhouette in my rear and hips, which was perfect for the look I was hoping to achieve. I docked 1 star for the pockets - they were useless.

These are beautiful thick jeans. I read the other reviews and sized up to the 30R even though I usually wear 29 in most jeans. I also have a smaller waist and these were still too small! I thought maybe I could just try - sometimes jeans stretch out after wearing them. But after a few minutes of sitting down I gave up - they were too painful. I will try them again in the larger size (31) but I am thinking even those might be too small. I am a size 8-10 pear shape.

These were high waisted as expected but kind of hit at a weird spot on my waist and we're a little uncomfortable. I don't have a long torso so that may be why. Overall good jeans though

These would probably work best for someone with a teeny tiny waist/bigger hips. I'm more straight so they looked ridiculous and were hard to even button. :( Very good quality, just not right for me.

I got on the 28's so I thought exchanging to the 29's would be perfect. They were still too tight for comfort. These are super high waisted. An overall great look, just order 2 sizes larger than you regularly wear.

No stretch in the waist. Very thick heavy denim. Better for cooler weather. They did make my butt look good so I wore them but couldn't wait to get them off!

Really cute but still. I like my jeans softer so I would wear these out but not for everyday hanging.

Very little stretch. Runs very small. I usually wear a 30 or 31 but 31 was way too small. Definitely size up!

To be fair- these jeans did look cute once I got them on. My waist measurement is 27.5", I wear a 6-8 in everything. I had to realllyyy try to get into these jeans. They have no stretch and are super stiff. I couldn't imagine wearing these out of the house because it hurt to sit down. Even if I had sized up, I think they would still be uncomfortable.

Admittedly I have bigger hips and smaller waist but these made my hips look HUGE. The inseam was also dropped a bit on me

Honestly, I couldn't get these jeans above my knees!

I'm usually a 4/27 in jeans but ordered a size up after looking at reviews. The 28 couldn't even get over my thighs. Never got to wear these. They were also weirdly stiff and had a scent to them which was odd

Definitely size up in this brand. Jeans also arrived extremely "hard" feeling, kind of like they were crinkly. It was weird and I didn't like them.

These are well constructed and I love the fit. they have minimal stretch but and the waist it true to size.

The pants are true high waisted jeans (go up to your belly button), which is exactly what I was looking for! They did get a little bit stretched out, but didn't get super baggy or anything after a couple of wears. Highly recommend!

High waisted abs hold in lower stomach area. Perfect for crop top for date night or with t-shirt for every day. Really loved these.

Jeans are extremely durable and structured. I love jeans that are like that. Unfortunately I am 5'1 & it is extremely high waisted on me. It cut me off in a weird way, so I only wore them once. I gave 5 stars because the jeans itself were amazing. Just didn't like the look on me.

Pretty tight to pull on, especially around the ankles, but settled in once buttoned up. Like the high rise waist and the wash, just a little long, but that's me not the jeans! Recommend.

Cute high-waisted fit, but I am 5'11 and they are unfortunately too short for me. I tried them on and promptly sent them back. Can see them being perfect for someone 5'9 and below.

Really thick material. Probably better for cooler weather and not summer. Plus it didn't have that much give and it was tight around the waist. Was barely able to button it up.
