Okay, I have to agree with pretty much every other reviewer that this skirt should have been designed with a loop hole to thread the tie string through; this would make wrapping the skirt so much easier. I made do though because YELLOW Sequins! This was a really fun skirt to walk around NYC in. I wore it a couple of times pairing it with a black fitted tee and a white crop tank; both cute options. If you can pretend that the wrap looks fine in the back, give it a try and rent it.

the reviews are correct, just a big piece of fabric but nicely lined. The wrap fit and the strings were strong enough to pull tight and stay in place. Sequins felt very pokey on my legs and butt if I was sitting for too long. But overall, love how easy it dresses up a plain tee.

Rented for a pop of color on my bachelorette and it was so cute. A bit hard to walk in but it wrapped easily. If you're between sizes size down. I tried a size below mt usual and a size above my usual and the one below fit best

This skirt was adorable and perfect for a night out. It's one size so you are able to wrap it to fit your body. It was slightly hard to get it to tie just right but once I did, it stayed put the whole night.

A real stand out. Tons of complements. I had read on another review that there were no loops to thread The belt through so glad I was aware. A bit bulky to tie as a result but it didn't matter. Rent !!!

Tying it was a little funny I'm not sure I did it right but it didn't matter. Great piece and color is almost highlighter yellow - I thought I'd wear it to the office but ended up wearing to a Mardi Gras event and received loads of good comments. Fun piece for sure!

It's a big wrap dress with lot's of thick, sequined material. It feels a little bulky at first, took a bit to figure out how to not make it so thick around the waist. but once you get it tight, it's a super chic look. dress up or down. love it! got compliments all night

The most beautiful expensive sparkling towel on the market. So many great things but 3 stars for being so weirdly constructed. Also, tap the heart of you think the new plans are a bummer. Let's all join together to have RTR give us our old unlimited plans back!

This wraps around your body and is incredibly awkward. The bright color makes up for it but not enough to want to rent again

Ugh I wanted to like this skirt so much! The color is absolutely beautiful but it is ultimately insane that they would make something so unwearable?? I've been trying for the past 45 minutes to figure out a way to tie it that it does now look super janky and have given up. Maybe if it's cold enough to wear a jacket all day you could pull it off and just keep the back of the waist covered? Don't do it if you value your sanity.

Size all the way down for a more flattering appearance.

I got so many compliments on this skirt shirt combo. Pros: adjustable because it's one piece that ties around. Highlighter yellow - you'll stand out in a sea of black dresses. Perfect for a black tie option wedding. And flattering! Sequins didn't itch or catch on anything. Cons: it is highlighter yellow LOL. Thought it could have used a button to hold it as the tie, while adjustable was a bit unusual. One side felt smooth and the other felt bumpy along my waist. Overall would rent again!

Omg this has to be one of the most fabulous piece I've rented. I've been with RTR for over 2 years!! This piece is a party and I cannot wait to wear it again!! No shame. I'm wearing this everywhere!!

I loved the idea of a neon sequin midi skirt and I paired it with a black top and coat to tone it down during NYFW. I was shocked at the construction for the price tag. I opened for an oversized top bc the waist is weird. There is no hole to pull the tie through so you are basically just wrapping a long rectangular piece of fabric around yourself and it gets a little bunchy regardless of how you tie it. Still enjoyed wearing it and got many compliments :)

Once wrapped and situated it fit snugly and looked darling. Total showstopper. The grosgrain tie tones it down and makes it easy to dress up or down. Obsessed.

I have been dying for an occasion to rent this skirt. Finally rented it for a party in Miami and wore it with sneakers and a white tee. Got lots of compliments. The wrap-tie fit is definitely not ideal, and I had to play with it for a while to make it fit right, but totally worth it in my opinion. It's super fun and stand out, in a good way. Would def rent again!

The event I had rented this for got rained out, so I wore it with sneakers and a black satin and lace, spaghetti strap top and it made for the perfect brunch look. You have to make sure you are wearing skin colored undergarments because it is more sheer than it lets on. The color is absolutely gorgeous, if you're a big fan of making a statement this is the skirt for you. It runs a little large and is a little difficult to tie, but it is super gorgeous and worth the rent!

As others have mentioned, it's basically a sequin rectangle with a string. There's no hole to feed it through, so you have to wrap it around and work with it to make it look fine. The sequins color is amazing (slightly sheer if you wear non-nude undergarments) and the plain white shoelace string is more casual, but the color makes up for it.

Doesn't suit body type if you are straight up and down.

Literally just a rectangle with two ties. A rectangle with some awesome colored sequins, but still just a rectangle. It was wearable and cute, but such a shame the designer was so lazy that it was awkward to wear.

there was only one side of the skirt with a tie.. could not figure out how to secure it and have it fall correctly.

Very hard to wrap around in a way that doesn't look bulky and homemade. The sequins and color are so fun, but the construction makes no sense.

This is a wrap skirt - but as the other reviews indicate, it doesn't have anywhere for the skirt ties to loop through - so it sits really weird and is very bunchy. I couldn't make it work in a way that felt good, secure, and not like a towel. Bummed.

Reviews are accurate. Like a long towel you're wrapping around you. Bad construction- should be a slit to slide the ribbon through for an even wrap. But without that it does not fit properly. Couldn't Figure out how to tie it to make it look good. Color is amazing but construction is poor.

This skirt is soooo poorly constructed. I was super disappointed. Margiela should be ashamed for this lazy large piece of fabric with two strings.

This was the first RTR product that didn't fit at all and was huge compared to what the reviews said. Personally I didn't like compared to the other items RTR has to offer

Loved this skirt, loved the color and the tiny sequins. I paired it with a white tshirt, Jean jacket and platform tennies. Be warned: it's a literal wrap around... like a giant towel... no slots for the sash. So I did wear leggings underneath. But very cute and I got a ton of compliments!
