I needed a professional yet interesting outfit for my presentation. This checked both boxes and it was great for the warm weather because it runs a little big. The pattern is a clip from a map, and everybody wanted to know if it was true to scale. It is a conversation starter.

The dress is really comfortable and the print is just fashion forward enough!

I am 5'8", 145 lb. Athletic and curvy. This dress fit well. It stands out in a crowd without yelling, "hey, look at me."

This was one of the only drop waisted dresses I could find on my unlimited. I wanted to be true to the era with the cut of the dress. This hit the mark. Although everyone else wore the sparkly flapper dress, I still enjoyed my attempt at recreating the feel of what was worn in the 20s. I would also enjoy wearing this to other fun parties too.

I loved this dress it is a different cut than I would normally wear but looked amazing on. I should have rented a size 4 instead of the 2 because I have a large chest and it was hard to zip. It should also be worn with a strapless or racer back bra which I didn't have so I had to wear a denim jacket on top. I would rent a large size the next time definitely a winner

Such a comfy dress. Can definitely make it a day or night wear. Flattering fit given the oversized element of it.

This is a great dress. I just got it last night and wore it immediately. It fits true to size. I am wearing a cropped cardigan over it as it is winter where I live - but it is perfect. I love the fact that there is the blue contrast and the length is fun and different. The skirt does a beautiful swirl when walking. Very good for work and then transitioning to a night out.

The skirt is beautiful - doesn't really show in the picture. Lots of detail & great movement.

I absolutely adored this dress. The cut was perfect. The fabric was VERY high end. Fit well enough on top that it didn't look like a bag with no shape when on, which can happen easily with this style of dress. Would definitely rent this one again, or buy it!! :)

Ran a bit large, but that also gave it more movement. Its not your everyday work dress, but it totally could and should be. I will be renting this again!

use at least one full size smaller than you think

I loved wearing this dress. It felt really elegant and expensive. I recommend wearing heels as the length is a little awkward for flats.

I normally wear a 6 or 8 in dresses and accidentally selected a size 10 as part of my unlimited subscription. Fit: This dress would look best on the long and lean. I am 5'1" and this ended up being a little longer than tea-length on me. The torso of this dress is also on the longer side so it didn't look right on my shorter/petite torso. So to make it work I belted the dress and bloused it to create a better shape. I wore it with a sweater because the back looked a bit strange belted. The material is amazing quality and the gathered colorful section was fun to wear. This is a really cool and very well made dress however - just not quite right on my body type.

I loved the concept of this dress, and it fit well up top, but was a little big in the bottom due to the drop waist. Overall a very comfortable dress - great length for someone tall like me. I felt put together and professional with flair!

First, thank you Alexis and Jennifer for your photos! Sorry I couldn't return the favor this time. Thanks to Alexis' photo, I wore this slice of heaven with a thin black turtleneck (as planned when I ordered) and paired with black tights, suede booties, and embellished hoops to Thanksgiving family dinner. It was perfect for the occasion and the MidAtlantic weather. Even tho Jennifer is about my size (height, weight, etc.), I wore a 44 and was happy with the fit. Could I have gone down a size..???? I was pleased with it as is. With the turtleneck, it was not an issue. BTW - I am 5'7" and TODAY 144lbs, not curvy or particularly thin, more straight up and down, inching slowly back to slim. The fabric is very heavy, but the dress is unlined. With my tights, I went without a slip. When I wear again (and I WILL...), I may try a slip with it. I really love this dress. The shape and design are edgy and not frumpy, which is one of my biggest fears. I can see this dress in the office, with or without tights or the TN, on a date, although NOT sexy at all, shopping, out with friends, dressed up, dressed down. It is a great go-to dress. Rent it... you won't be disappointed. However, unless you are on the tall side, I can't see this dress on the ultra petite - but may be wrong. This may be one of those rare dresses that looks good on everyone. My only complaint is that the pleats on the side were not properly ironed and buckled in one or two places. I am sure it was noticeable only to me. I tend to have a critical eye.

I should have read the reviews about the dress running large before I ordered it. It's nicely made and I would have loved for it to fit!

The dress feels a bit like wearing a tent, but a luxury tent with nice fabric and beautiful print. Dress was good at hiding my gut, (or wine pouf as I like to say). The design was really great and it was perfect for work and a design networking event. I wore a jean jacket over it to try to give it more shape.

I'm petite so this appeared like a very drop waist. Cute, but clearly too long on me. Order smaller than you think. Fabric is rich, feels great and holds it shape

I wore this for a casual happy hour political fundraiser. There is a lot of material so I probably should have ordered a size smaller. The fabric in the pleat is a very nice touch. Not sexy or for a date, but perfect for work or a conservative summer party.

Beautiful but runs big and I wasn't able to wear it. I tried the 4 (my regular size) and 6. The 2 might have fit but there wasn't enough time to get it before the event.

I was really excited about this dress, but I didn't end up wearing it because the drop waist looked so silly on my body. I really liked the eccentric side panel patterns, and I'd love to see this style in a different construction.
