Fabulous high quality. Truly one of the most flattering dresses I've ever worn. Thick, but I worn in Miami on a spring night with no issue, though I would not recommend for a day time event unless it is winter. This dress deserves more reviews it is amazing.

This dress is so beautiful in person. Pictures don't do the color and detail any justice. I am curvy and have put on a little winter weight. This dress is one giant spanx for you. Very flattering and it was the perfect length. It is also a little thicker so it was perfect to run around all night in without needing a jacket and worry about coat check. If you are curvy or a few extra pounds from the holidays, this is the must have rental

This dress was an absolute HIT!!!! Everyone loved my dress. I got so many compliments on it. I loved the way it fit on me as well. It fit true to size and the sleeves were longer than I needed. But that's a plus for me because I have long arms and normally sleeves are too short. This was my first time using RTR and I will definitely recommend RTR to all my friends!

I didn't realize just how amazing this dress is until it arrived and I saw it in person! I loved wearing this and was sad to have to send it back! People were complimenting me left and right and although I am tall and lanky, I feel like this dress fit me very well! I would totally buy this dress if I had money HAHAHA.

This dress was sent to me as a backup when there was an issue with the first one I rented. I loved it, but I am also more conservative than your average 26-year old. I am 100% sure this dress would not work on a shorter woman. The sleeves are very long. I am 5'10 and have long arms and they fit me. The length may also be a concern to shorter women, but on myself it was perfect. This dress runs VERY large on top. I wore the 6, and could have done a 4 or even a 2 in the shoulders and chest! The tummy/thighs are true to size --- the 6 was tight on me in that area, and I'm usually an 8. I do not recommend this dress if you are going for sexy AT ALL... It covers everything except your calves! The pattern is fun, and the patches of large sequins add a little something different. It's definitely quirky, but warm and perfect for winter.

It's hard to find a dress that fits me perfectly but this one did! Literally fit like a glove! Wore it to an event with lot of fashion celebrities, coworkers, and my boss.l and got so many compliments that night. It might get a bit hot when you wear it but otherwise a good choice for a gala/ formal dress

Truly a very special dress. Extremely expensive feel and look. The sequins detail made the dress perfect for a black tie wedding where everyone else wore long prom-ish dresses. The size was good. I'm shorter so I had to pin the hem and tuck in the sleeves, but very smooth finish. The dress retails for $1300 and it totally felt like a $2000 dress. Tons of compliments.

I am often trolling RTR for outfits that I can wear for presentations that I deliver at conferences for my job. It's the technology industry, so it's OK to be a little 'out there' within the usual business casual boundaries. This dress seemed like a perfect balance between conservative and fun, and it was. As one person said to me after my speech, "Your presentation was excellent, but I really loved watching your dress". It was comfortable with just enough stretch and the zippers on the sleeve and on the back of the dress allowed me to adjust for movement. It was form fitting, so I was somewhat relieved to change out of it at the end of the night and put on something a little more casual for a work dinner (where a topic of conversation was my dress). I think that RTR should carry more dresses/suits for this type of occasion.

Fit was great. Loved the length of the sleeves and the length of the dress. I'm 5'10" and the dress went down past my knees. Very comfortable and I felt very pretty.

This dress fit me like a glove. The only issue I had with the dress was the length of the sleeves, but that has everything to do with my arms being short.

Bodycon like fit but very classy. Wore a size small. I unzipped the back a bit for an added split and that made walking a lot easier.

Dress was perfect for me!! Material is awesome and was nice. I had to try on right away when I received it because it looked ugly. But it's a must wear! I wanted to keep it.

I wore this dress for a work Holiday party. I felt covered yet sexy because of the fit. Sleeves were perfect length for me- great because most sleeves are too short on me ( that means they are pretty long). Dress has zero stretch- so order your size! The Bottom has a zipper in the back which I left open so my stride wouldn't be restricted. I usually stay away from prints but I'm glad I tried this one. I submitted two pics one in dim lighting the other in a brighter setting so you can get a better idea. Reminds me of spilled Paint swirls- I really liked it. I definitely stood out. I received many compliments about the fit and print. I wore a size 48 (Italian) which is a 12 US. In these pics I am 5'6" (and a half) and 192lb.

I remember being unsure of the size conversion when ordering and wish I'd gotten the size larger. The 42 fit well enough but was a bit tight in places. I couldn't get the 40 past my hips. I normally wouldn't get a sequined dress, but the beauty of RTR is getting to try something a little different than normal. I was very happy with this dress and got a bunch of compliments throughout the night.

It fit like a glove! Loved the zipper options, wrist and bottom. It's such a unique dress!

I wore this dress to a November event and the long sleeves were perfect. The dress was a little long on my 5'4" frame but I used hem tape (suggested by another renter) and it worked perfectly even on the zippered back slit. Which is a genius addition! The dress is so beautiful and unique with almost a neoprene- like quality to the fabric. Very forgiving and flattering. This dress does run a little large but I did not want it to be too tight on my backside since I was attending a religious event. The size 12 was very comfortable and flattering and I received many complements. The only downside was that there was definitely an odor to the lining of the dress when I unzipped it. I just used fabric refresher the night before my event and also sprayed perfume inside before putting the dress on. I still felt like the dress was clean and did not have any signs that someone else had worn it other than the faint smell.

i've wanted to rent this dress for some time - and i'm so glad i did. it was worth every penny! the print, the embellishments, the length and overall style definitely make this a showstopper without being over-the-top, too flashy or showing too much skin. the only problem i ran into was the sleeve length (i am just under 5"2). although this does generally fit true to size in my opinion, i could have gone down a size so, if you are thinking of renting it - i would get your backup size in one size smaller.

I'm usually a size 10/12 but after reading all the reviews about this dress running large I decided to go to with an 8. This dress fit like a glove and I felt amazing in it! Wish I could keep it:)

Rented this dress for Easter Sunday services. I received so many compliments for the color, the sequins ( sporadically placed throughout dress), and how figure flattering it was on me. Last time I rented I got a 42-4 but opted for 44-6 this time around due to my hips. A bit loose from the waist and up. However, no biggie once paired with a belt. For my height, the sleeves were just right! Dress fell just below the knee to keep it semi-conservative. There are zippers on the sleeves and back of dress for a tighter fit in the legs or higher slit...you decide. Again, I love this dress! You will too!

I loved this dress! It was very well made and so warm. It was chiller the night of the wedding and I didn't need a coat. Some of the sequins were bent or missing but no one noticed. The colors are fabulous! I'm 5'6" and 130lb, built smaller up top and slightly fuller on the bottom and it fit everything perfect. Everyone was complimenting me all night, which was great because I love to talk about RTR! It's crazy how many people don't know about it!

Loved the zip slits in the back and on the wrists. Could have worn the 42, but wanted to be able to dance, sit and eat comfortably, so went with the 44. It was perfect! Everyone else had to wear shawls and sweaters, but with these long sleeves, I was comfortable in the chilly PA weather in December! SO many compliments all night long!!!

I got so many compliments on this dress. I loved the design and textured sequins. Fit was the sleeves were a bit big (both wide and long) but I don't think it distracted from the dress. The front neck drop was a little high for my liking, anytime I bent over it did cut into my neck some, not an issue while stranding straight up. Since I am pear shaped I did wear a padded bra to fill in the bust area a bit more, but that is normal for me when wearing these more body con styles. The fabric is very thick and the dress is nicely lined.

Wore to work conference dinner, and entertainment. I had women coming up to me all night, and the next day telling me how stunning it (and I) was! I ordered the size 0, and it fit great. See my size dimensions to compare to yourself. The arms were a tad baggy, and the bust was baggy, but I am a teeny tiny A cup. It's a thick dress, so definitely worn only in air conditioned buildings, or in winter. NOT an outdoor summer dress.

I wanted this dress to work so bad, it is so pretty in real life. However, because it was so long, it hit me in an always spot, and just didn't give me the look I was going for. The sleeves were also really long, which was the deal breaker for me. The material is really nice, and hides all lumps and bumps, so that was a plus. If it wasn't for a wedding, I most likely would have figured out a way to get the sleeves to work better and would have worn it.

I wore this to a very formal engagement party. I'm usually a size 4, but I am a little busty, and based on the other reviews I worried that I might be more of a 6 in this dress. I should not have worried. Not only did the 4 fit, but it was a little loose at the hip and rib cage. There is a zipper at the back skirt to make a slit and zippers at the sleeve openings. I was glad for the zipper at the back skirt, it helped me walk and dance, but I didn't need the sleeve zippers. Word of caution - I wore my hair down and loose and it kept getting caught in the sequins! I wish I had worn my hair up!

Rented for a daytime work event in NYC and loved it. Super comfortable and form fitting - was very flattering. The sleeves were a bit long and loose but other than that the fit was great.

For me the fit of the dress was very baggy. I usually wear a size 8 and I was afraid that the dress would even be too small. The sleeves were very long and baggy. Other than that, I loved the style of the dress. I just wish the dress was more form fitting. Not sure if I would order this dress again because it is so unique.

The sleeves were not too long as reviewed by others but it was pretty tight around my legs - made it a little difficult to walk in heels. One size up might have been too big for me though

This dress was perfect for the winter, daytime wedding I attended. I'm glad I read the reviews and ordered one size down. The material is very thick and warm, so I ended up not even needing a coat. There are zippers both at the wrists and back of the dress, which I didn't notice in the picture, and there are large sequins (my daughter said "scales") which are fun and catch the light. I was concerned that this dress would be too conservative, but the tight fit made it beautiful. The only negatives are the sleeves are very long, and the neckline was very high, so every time I sat, it choked me a little. I paired this with the Uber Python Clutch which was a beautiful match.

The dress does run large and long, but it's beautiful and was perfect for a formal work awards event.

I had rented a dress that came back damaged so RTR sent me this and another dress I had picked as a backup. I ended up wearing the other dress but only because I felt that this dress was a bit too conservative length-wise for the event with the shoes I had to pair it with. This dress is magnificent. It is actually like a piece of art. It fits beautifully, though I did find it slightly looser than I would have expected, but that probably just means the size down as a backup would have been better. It's also a great choice for a more conservative event you may have. A nice surprise, which I hadn't seen from the picture, is that the sleeves and back slit are also think zippers so you can zip up or down however you'd like to change up the look of the dress.

Fitted through the body, but easy to move around during cocktails to dinner type affair. The long sleeves and longer skirt worked well in the air conditioned space, but would be too hot outside in warm temps. Adjustable slit was great as well, since the skirt is tapered closely to the line of the legs. I wasn't expecting the sequin patches to be so large, but they are placed such that it's not an issue when sitting, but you have to be careful with any over the shoulder/crook of the arm bags.

Runs large- would recommend ordering a size down. Better for inside events (with AC) because fabric thick and gets hot.

Somehow I managed to order the wrong size. I'm a 4 and I ordered a 14. When I had to select my size only European sizes were shown without their conversion to US sizes. 44 does not equal 4 US, just FYI.

I loved this dress and the detailing is beautiful in person. Unfortunately I ordered a size 40 and 42 and they were both too big. I think a 38 would have been perfect if it was available.

The dress itself is absolutely stunning, and the quality is top-notch. The dress zipped up beautifully and fit through the bodice in a very figure-flattering way. However - the reason this is a four star dress and not a five star is because the sleeves and the hem are BEYOND long. I had to tape both of them up, but because of the thickness of the material + sequins, it wasn't the greatest in execution. I'm 5'5" and the hem was a good 3-5 inches past my knee and the sleeves were halfway down my hand. Absolutely gorgeous dress, perfect for engagement pictures!

Did not wear, the size was way too large, baggy, saggy with loose sleeves and hips. As a woman with larger hips than ribcage, I ordered up in size and was unable to wear this dress. Also the texture was sporadically covered in large sequins. I was so looking forward to this stunning dress, would to rent in a smaller size.

I wear a 4 normally and had to go with the 42. The 40 was way too tight and made it hard to walk in. The "sequin" on this dress are very noticeable and not appealing on the arms. I didn't end up wearing because it looked like I had scales and the sleeves are large - especially where your arm pit area is. Beautiful on screen, but in person wasn't my first pick. :(

It ran rather big, I would have needed a 6 for it to fit like it should. I may order it in the correct size for a future event.
