The belt is horrid.. Find another skinny belt in your closet if you want to turn this dress into a shorter version of what's advertised ;)

I absolutely loved this dress. The color is brighter than the pictures shown, but it looks great if you have a nice tan. I got nothing but complements all day and night. The belt with the dress fits a little strangely so I used one of my own belts. Regardless totally worth it!!

I normally wear a 4 or a 6 (closer to a 6) but the 42 (which corresponds to a 6) draped a little weird (the top wasn't blousy enough) - and there was a tiny hole on the left shoulder of the dress - but RTR customer service was fantastic! Luckily for me, the 44 looked amazing on me. Note: the material is VERY slinky and drapes across your chest, so you need a seamless bra otherwise you will have unsightly bra lines. I wore a regular bra that gave me a smooth line and used fashion tape to hold the straps in place. The color is a brighter, more intense yellow than the color in the photo, and I loved it! I got SO many compliments, and people said the color looked amazing on me. I would definitely rent this again!

Fits true to size and was a super comfortable fit.

This dress is Amazing!! I wore the dress with a standard bra in nude. Be careful to choose a nude that matches your skin tone as one that is too light will show through the material. Spanx are a must as the skirt is very fitted and although it is lined, it can still be very sheer. Since it is sheer, the tag for the dress shows through which I'm surprised that the designer would even place it there. Fold the tag, to make it shorter and tape it to the dress, less of it will show. This dress is not for someone who is shy, as the color is a beautiful bright yellow. I stood out in a room of black and navy dresses. I even overheard someone's date compliment my entire ensemble. I chatted with a stylist when putting this together and she was great to talk to and full of fashion advice. Both the size I ordered and the back up were missing the belt which if no belt is present, you can see the snaps on the dress to where the belt attaches. I had to buy a belt to cover these up and as a courtesy for the inconvenience. I received a credit for part of my rental to compensate for having to purchase a belt. Excellent Customer Service RTR. Def a Golden Ticket.

Wore this dress to my sisters engagement. It was amazingly beautiful. Fit so perfect. Was a brighter color than the picture. Only problem was, that it stretched out after several hours of wearing it. I would def. recommend this dress to someone who wants to stand out, with an amazing tan.

This dress fit perfectly! It's always nerve racking renting a dress and not being sure how it will fit. It was flattering and fun!! I would definitely suggesting getting the "barely there" thong as underwear lines would not be flattering! :) I wore this dress to a summer wedding and got so many compliments!

So glad I ordered this dress. I got tons of compliments, fit nicely and was comfortable. I ordered this dress in a size 6 (44) and 10 (48) as the 8 was unavailable. The 10 was WAY too large, looked like a mumu up top and the arm holes gaped, but the 6 fit just right. It was a tight squeeze getting the skirt part over my hips but once I did I was fine. CONS: They might as well not send the belt. Other reviewers had mentioned the belt not working and they were right. I couldn't figure out how to snap it on as there is no stretch to it at all. Also it comes in 2 parts, wasn't sure if you only wear the belt on the side of the dress that doesn't drape, but then didn't know why they sent 2 sections. Wish it came with directions. The dress does show your bra a bit on the side, but I just went with it. Also make sure the bra is smooth, as the top is unlined and shows every little bump. PROS: Since the belt didn't work I paired with a red belt and red wedges and it looked awesome, actually better than the original sequined gold belt would have looked. Just have to check every once in a while to make sure the snaps aren't showing. Overall I would wear this dress again! FYI- my friend in the photo is also wearing a Nicole Miller RTR!

This dress was perfect for my sorority's formal. I got two sizes, the 38 and the 40 and decided to go with the 38 because the dress runs a little bigger, even though it is a tight jersey material. The top is very flowy and the bottom is more form fitting. Unfortunately, I received the dress with a few stains and the belt part where it was sewn to the dress--which detaches--had fallen off. I could have safety pinned it but decided not to wear the belt part in the end. I took my dress to the cleaners and after calling RTR they were very nice and said they would cover the expense of the cleaning! They had even offered to overnight me the same dress but the size was unavailable. Overall, I got SO many compliments on the dress and LOVED it!!! The color is much more vibrant/neon than in the model photo!

Had some drama with this dress. It almost didn't arrive in time, but RTR overnighted it so I got it in time even though the 2nd size never arrived. Also, I could not get the belt they sent to snap on correctly so i went sans belt. That was a bad idea since the dress was a little big and would ride down when I stood up! Also, as others have stated it is a little sheer so be sure to wear the right undergarments (I didn't but we were having dinner in a really dark locale so I wasn't concerned). Also, there is NO WAY your bra will not show on the left side or even the right side (which is cut higher). If you are shy, a camisole is a must. OK, now the fit. It is very large on top and tighter on the bottom. So good for highlighting the booty is you need some and minimizing the top if you are full there. It wasn't so long on me, but I am so short and a belt may have helped make the skirt more mini on me. The color is very lemony yellow, so it is great is you want to stand out. The fabric and cut was comfy though and I would be willing to try this brand again if I had a backup belt.

Rented this for my 40th birthday lunch. The color is amazing and the dress is so easy and comfortable. Wore it without the belt, gladiator sandles and purple accessories during the day, and with the belt, nude heels and glittery jewels for evening. Am thinking about renting this one again!

Love this dress! In person, the color is more of a yellowish-green. The top is blousy and drapes across your upper body (this is the part of the dress that runs large), and the fabric on your hips fits like a glove. The fabric on the back is a little thin, but Spanx will fix that! The only reason this dress did not get 5 stars was because the belt did not fit properly. I did not have my own belt and had to return the dress. This may have been because I do not have a tiny waist, but I suggest wearing your own belt. It would need to be a medium to thick size to hide the four snaps along the waist. If I ever get the right belt, I would order this beautiful dress again!

The fit worked really well for me. I think it probably works best on a taller person.

I ordered this dress in size 40 but the dress was in a such bad shape that they had to send me two other dresses. So, if you are thinking of renting this dress in this size ask the stylist first to be sure. I gave it three stars to be aware of the wear issues as this seems to be one of their 'older' dresses and it may not be in the best shape. In spite of it all, my first experience with RTR has been a top notch. I want to give RTR stylist a shout out for an excellent customer service! So, I got this dress to go to a magazine charity event and it seem like the perfect choice... Sigh. Wrong. Great fit, but that little tiny belt cinches the waist to get that effect like the model. Otherwise you are trying to adjust the dress the entire night. I had to use my little black dress instead. I just didn't have enough time to send the size back and rent it again. However, the customer service rep. Was wonderful and handled the situation on the accounts end. This dress just didn't work out for me :(

My only quam with this dress is the fit. It's a little too abstract and blousy in places and tight in others. Still wore it and I think it looked great but I wouldn't purchase it

The dress looks much better on the model in the picture. The fabric was more of a polyester than sleek and silky looking. And, the sides gaped so that my bra showed as well as the belt that came with dress kept coming unsnapped because the snap was hanging by a thread. I like the color and the accessories that I rented to go with the dress, but would not rent this one again.

The dress was pretty but ran really big. The smaller size was still a little big on the top. The gold belt shown in the picture did not show up with the order and there are snaps to attach it so I could not wear it.

I rented this in the 10 and the 12 for a wedding but the fit was very strange at the waist. I have very narrow hips and a small butt but it was even a bit tight for me. The "belt" did not stay snapped when I moved so I opted for my back up dress. So sad this didn't work out!

I rented both a 38 and and a 40 of this dress. The top on the 38 fit fine, but the skirt was incredibly tight even though I really don't have a butt or thighs to speak of...one of those dresses where it's nearly impossible to take off without the jaws of life. The 40 fit a little better on the bottom, but then the top was too big. I ended up not wearing either.

This dress is much brighter yellow then it appeared in the pics. I couldn't wear it because I felt like Big Bird. Fit is nice & love the designer.

Ordered this dress as a back up and ended up not having to wear it. I did not like it at all. It is a very bright yellow and the arm holes are very big and droopy which I did not like at all. Looks cute in the photo but not so much in person. Just not my style.

Horrible fit, if you have some meat on your bones. This dress is for very thin gals. I liked the color online, but in person, not so much.

tights and butt were too tight and the dress was so thin that even thong panty counld be seen.

The skirt was SO slim, I could not actually get the dress on properly. Had to return unworn.

This is my third attempt to review this dress. It did not fit so I couldn't wear it. The belt didn't match up with the dress, there were two moth holes at the right underarm. The stitches on the shoulder was unraveling. It looks used, not worth the $100 to rent it. I like the concept of rent the runway and am renting another dress for another event. I hope this time, my experience will be better and the quality of the dress is worth the extra $200 I am spending.

I got this dress for a bachelorette party and it is nothing like the picture. the material is flimsy and you can see right into the dress from the side. Also belt it is seen with does not go all the way around the dress. I would NOT recommend this dress at all!!! It is FAR FROM FLATTERING!!!

i absolutely love this dress. the color is amazing, its so comfortable and fit me perfectly. i got so many compliments throughout the night and im so glad i rented it.
